Approachable, trustworthy, friendly, open, sense of humour, professional manner and presentation Carlae was knowledgeable and highly informed about the local as well as wider Canterbury, South Island and New Zealand real estate market. After listening to our wishes and thoughts, she gave thoughtful and considered advice and feedback to suit us and to guide us through the selling process. The whole process was made very easy due to Carlae's extremely good verbal skills and her willingness to 'go the extra mile' to ensure that we got the best advice for our property and for our sale. While the lower commission cost with Proppy was obviously a consideration it wasn't the final one that we used to choose Proppy; rather, it was Carlae's professional and supportive manner and open nature that decided us.

Proppy's online auction portal is great. Enables out of town buyers to negotiate as well as the locals, all on a cellphone wherever they are. The Mission Bay property went to a South Island buyer which would not have happened if it was a local auction. The night of the auction I was out at a shareclub meeting and I was able to negotiate post auction, accept final offer, and sign the Sale and purchase agreement all on my phone. I cannot speak more highly of the on line auction process. It must be a no brainer to use this site particularly if there is the possibility that the buyer could come from elsewhere. (For example Resort towns such as Queenstown/Wanaka) Proppy marketed the property extremely well and Hannah is a skilled negotiator.

We met Aimee way back in July when we first considered selling our much loved home. We still had work on the property we wanted to complete so didn't list straight away. A great Real Estate Agent Selling my home of 19years was a daunting thought, but I feel very fortunate to have had Hans as my agent. David Blackwell has marketed and sold 2 houses for us during the last 12 months. These were 2 very different houses in different price brackets. One was sold through auction and the other was negotiable over a price. David achieved fast sales with good prices in both cases. Very happy seller Was great to sell another property via proppy, Peter and Hanz where very helpful in running the entire process since we where remote sellers. Their professionalism was far and above the established so called leader in the market that we where talked into using first. After not much response there we switched to Proppy which was my preference from the start, the other firm where all talk and promise about their market position and what they could actually achieve to get us on board and then did not deliver. Proppy took a much different approach and as our previous Experience where very keen to go the extra mile to get the property sold.

Sold from a distance Not really knowing what to do with a property that had big dreams to begin with but the thought of a six hour drive just to get there, slowly made that dream fade. Around November 2019 I called Jason and spoke about selling this piece of bare land, it turned out to be an adventure we both were happy to get dug into. Then this thing called Covid hit and everything seemed to go to mush in an instant. Once we came out from the fog and saw life beginning to move again, Jason was still on the move with advertising, getting aerial shots and speaking with colleagues in the Far North area. I am extremely happy to say that even though Jason believes he didn't do much, being persistent and patient during this crazy year saw the buyer come to us, willing to pay the asking price and closed within ten days. So happy Jason was on our team and was willing to go the distance even if he didn't really drive the 12hr return trip. Just over 3 years ago I appointed Jason to market and sell my 10 acre property to the west of Hamilton.
