Fast, Professional and did I say Fast? I have been following the property market since 2015, we invested in a couple of properties in the Eastern Bay of Plenty, I constantly checked on Trademe and other platforms over this time, "keeping an eye on things". I noticed one agent in particular from McDowell Real estate, consistently had listings etc on these platforms, and when I asked around my local communities, people had nice things to say, she had a good reputation. Fast forward to today 2021, we decided to check the market, I emailed her directly and explained my situation, hows this for responsiveness, within 7 days, I was signed up, had 6 offers on paper, all well over 110% of my original investment. Oh, It gets much better, 5 days after that I had a written signed contract for settlement within 33 days. Thank goodness it’s over! John and I found finding a home to buy exceedingly disheartening and frustrating. Prices were increasing weekly and demand meant that vendors were accepting offers prior to deadline dates. We met Steve at an open home he had that we put an offer in on. Although we missed out on that one, Steve remembered us and our particular circumstances so when he had another property to sell which he thought may suit us, he rang. He organised a private viewing on a Saturday and then drew up our offer on the same day. His service, knowledge and assistance made this sale possible and now we are so excited we own a home!! One of the best property management which provides top class services and is always there for you. I felt like home while staying at their properties. Terrific exceeded my expectations I must acknowledge us as being novice sellers. When we made initial contact I had a figure I had in mind which I gave her and said I would be happy with. Fiona came back with a price range a higher than I provided. I did query this as I thought it may be a case of tell me what I want to hear. Far from it as it turned out as I'm very happy with the final sale. I would also add she provided clear figures on commission as well as costs with options to include other advertising. She kept in contact via phone and email letting us know how things were progressing. Towards the close she also reminded me of any paperwork I needed to complete and provide. I cant thank Fiona Marshall enough for her fantastic service, experience and recommendations when she helped me sell my Rotorua rental property. I wanted to "stage" the property but their was no staging company in Rotorua, so Fiona lent me all the major pieces of furniture and accessories. Not too bad, and not too sure about Property Manager Pauline Keogh either. But given that I was a tenant with McDowells Rentals from April 2009 - 2013, 3 stars is for the Company itself. The Property Manager"s professional conduct is a tad shady, if not more.

We live in the Wairarapa NZ, and we are very hard to get a hold of, therefore we were so fortunate to have Fiona as our agent. She worked so hard for us, agreeing to meet with us with little notice, at one time walking through our property while we were renovating and looking past the mess and clutter. Her practical advise during this stage probably saved us a couple of thousand dollars in labour and materials (we hadn't even signed with her yet). She came to us with expert knowledge of median prices in the local area and talked us through the step by step stages and time lines that she would take to help us get the best price quickly. This was our forever home that we were going to move back to, that we had grown our children in. She treated that knowledge with empathy and speed. Beverley makes you feel like you have known her for years in fact she makes you feel like family.
