S.When we were advised that the rental we had been in for almost seven years was going on the market, a bunch of emotions hit us- understandably.
Personally my biggest stress was having an agent roll up and act like he owned the place we still called home for the time being. From the moment we met David from Northern Real Estate, that biggest stress disappeared.
He did everything he possibly could to make us feel at ease, and more importantly comfortable with the situation we had at hand. He was nothing but respectful, polite and sympathetic of our position. He went above and beyond and kept his eyes peeled for our next possible home, whether that be another rental or a recently listed home for sale from another agency.
His communication was immaculate. Access for open homes and private viewings were always kindly requested, not demanded. They became enjoyable and the insider knowledge gained was invaluable.
If you are a landlord and looking at making the decision of selling your investment property but also want your tenants to be respected and comfortable throughout this process, I seriously recommend David from Northen Real Estate. Being a “tenant” sometimes gives people justification to treat you like a second class citizen, but not with David.
