V. V.With the Little Creatures on tap The Fine Lion is definitely an iconic place to have a brunch with your workmates on this sunny long weekend afternoon in Ashburton. Menu has a wide assortment from the starters to the main meal. Chicken, beef, lamb, sea food - you name it. Had a nice chat with the owners about the place. Very high standards. Bathroom is a Museum. You haven't been to Ashburton if you didn't visit The Fine Lion 🦁
S. D.Perhaps a little more professionalism by all staff - jeans really?????- staff sitting in the restaurant having there break??? What are you thinking??? Chipped glass??? Pour your own wine??? Tacky serviettes up your game guys... I get called Ewes! One more time and l will baa! Come on guys food is amazing but the staff need to get their act together!?!!

L. w.Saturday night, busy, service very good. Food presentation was awesome, portions were good. Desert choices are limited, but yummy. Decor is very pleasant, could do with getting rid of the flat screen TVs and cheesy music. Great evening out.
