AMAZING! We were travelling for work out of town and found this amazing restaurant. The food was brilliant, staff friendly and nothing was an issue. We enjoyed it so much, we even went back the next night to try another meal! Try the wine.... it was devine! Would highly recommend to anyone.

It was amazing!! It was my first time going and i had the sea food fettuccine and long island ice tea sooo yumm!! And the tiramisu ug too good

When i want a good steak i go to Blitza. Get the mushroom sauce and you won’t regret it. They also have addictive pizza bread. Good service and has been consistent over the years. Will always come back.

Picked up the takeaway Seafood Fettuccine, now this bad boy I was extremely excited for as I only get it for treats due the price of $40. I was a bit disappointed as there was not a lot of pasta at all, had a good amount of chunky seafood but ya girl wanted more of that slurp goodness with the delicious sauce. Netherthless I still will give my money up but will be trying another type of fettuccine.

Food was very tasty and filling. Salmon pizza excellent flavours, pasta dishes full of flavour. Wait staff very courteous and efficient. Highly recommend.

I was craving to test one their pizzas smoke chicken and cranberry but probably because they saw it was gonna be table for 1. They say that food would take 2 hours to be served. Really shocking. Not sure if it was because I was alone or indeed any customer who is gonna sit now will have to wait 2 hrs to be served. At least the staff sent me to next store hhahah to eat pizza. Lol. Anyway.

Awesome evening here for our daughter's 21st dinner. Everyone enjoyed their meals, the service was timely and staff were happy and friendly.

Nice little Italian place with lots and lots of seating (surprisingly). Food was basic, but great and really fast. Great for kids, they have kids menus and placemats with crayons. The garlic smell is divine. Pages of pasta and pizza options in the menu, and some of the basic mains too. My snapper pan fried in (burnt) butter looks like steak, but it was absolutely delicious.

I was able to order their most expensive pasta, the seafood fettuccine. The richness of the Neapolitan sauce topped with parmesan cheese, al dente fettuccine was a harmonic duet. Served alongside pieces of perfectly cooked shrimp and slices of salmon, all the flavours contributed to a well balanced meal. You can watch the line cooks make pizza as well! From the dough shaping process, the oven and final detailing station are all in open view inside the store. Offering a variety of traditional Italian dishes, Blitza Pizza in Birkenhead is a must visit. Both operating a bar and a restaurant, they offer a great range of in-house baked quality pizzas, pastas and more. Staff were very kind and attentive. Would absolutely recommend!

Lovely service, we enjoyed arancini, shared cannelloni, green salad and a bottle of nice wine. The service really made me want to come back!

Had a lovely, delicious dinner this evening. Waiters Dom and Eden were very friendly and pleasant. Great service. We were disappointed to hear a supervisor or manager critiquing one of the waiters unfairly on his demeanour at the bar within our ear shot.

Had the blue vein pizza, chips and coffee. Everything was amazing. Highly recommend.

Love the food here, nice vegetarian options - absolutely the best vegetarian cannelloni around. The pizzas are also amazing, in particular we really love the Tandoori Chicken pizza with sliced banana on top - you would not be disappointed ordering this!. The fries with oregano are super yummy and the garlic pizza breads are soooo good. They are the best around for sure, fresh, hot, and all made on the spot. The staff are very efficient and friendly. We have been going here for over 10 years.

Finally your on Uber Awesome Food 👍👍 I hope they put their King Prawns and scallops on their menu for uber If they do can they also make it for a main Plus the snapper 😊

Awesome place. Food is incredible. Acoustics are something else, we couldn't hear each other at the same table as there was lots of chatter that just resonated throughout the whole restaurant. Five stars if quieter. Edit: thanks for taking my feedback on board. Updated to 5 stars!

Fresh and tasty ingredients, a classic base and friendly service. Blitza is our new go to for pizza when we can spend a little more. It's not cheap, but not at all overpriced. A good pizza is one where you can taste all the ingredients in isolation but together are well balanced. Blitza does that well.

Had a lovely meal here with friends. Everything on the menu is well made and the service is great. I enjoyed the chicken canneloni and my friends loved their pizza. I am looking forward to visiting again.

If you are going to spend money on a pizza this is the place to do it. I shared a large steak pizza with my husband and it was phenomenal! Plus I was near a food coma so definitely worth it value wise. Decent kids menu as well. Luck of the draw with parking, if you get one close on the street or have to walk a little but you might appreciate the chance to walk off dinner but also being in Central Birkenhead easy enough to catch the bus so really no worries. This place was recommended to me on several occasions by people and it definitely won't disappoint

My partner had taken me and his family to dinner here and I can’t stop raving about the carbonara.... my partner had the chicken pizza and that was also just as amazing, you will see us again . Kind regards to the chefs.

3 of us were fortunate last night to have been given a table in a very very busy restaurant. The service from the Maitre d/Manager and staff was absolutely brilliant. The cuisine was sensational. Congratulations to you all.

I have been coming here for a few times per year for around 7 years. Delightful setting with delicious food options. Plus the Peroni on tap is perfect!

This place have got the best seafood fettuccine I've eaten in my entire life! It is SO good I just have to order it every single time I go there. I have also tried the pizza bread appetiser and that was delicious as well. The staff is super friendly and attentive, and they have a great selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Definitely my favourite restaurant in Birkenhead, thanks guys

Always come here for family dinners and the staff are so lovely and enthusiastic about their restaurant. Great atmosphere, plenty of room and the food is delicious! There is a lot of variety on their menu and something that everyone can enjoy, plus a lot of meals that are great for sharing. Great, convenient location and I would recommend it to anyone who was after a delicious, satisfying meal. P.S They make more than just great pizza!

I had the best day yesterday for my birthday at Blitza Pizza who helped me to host a birthday meal for 27 people. The food, service and atmosphere were just perfect. Everyone was incredibly happy with the food. The pizza's are fantastic and with the pasta dishes you get a great helping of fish it's not just all pasta like you find at most places. I will definitely be returning here and will be recommending to everyone. Thank you Lee and the team, you helped to make my birthday a very special one!!

What a little gem, tucked away in Birkenhead. If you love pizza and pasta, Blitza is the place to go. Tasty wood fire pizza, with very generous amounts of toppings. Staff are extremely friendly and the restaurant was buzzing this evening on a very cold wet Wednesday night. Definetly A+ for food & service. Thanks Blitza, my family loved the meal.

Always delicious food & great cocktails

Phenomenal food - really delicious! Had the prosciutto pizza and added mushrooms yum! And chicken parmigiano - different than what I've had before as it was totally in a tomato cheesy sauce but was to die for.... Definitely going back soon :)

We love this place. The service is warm and friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. The seafood saganaki and garlic prawns are to die for. Parking in Birkenhead can be a bit of a pain, but no more than anywhere else in Auckland.

Have just had a wonderful meal at Blitza Pizza in Birkenhead. Three different meals and all were first class. Highly recommend the Calamari - top stuff. Staff were knowledgeable and very obliging. Thank you.

A vibrant atmosphere and very trendy restaurant, make sure you book ahead. The cuisine is authentic Italian which is mouth watering and you really are spoilt for choice, Pizza, Pasta or Steak. Absolutely delicious!!!

It was great! The food was so delicious the staff were great happy, friendly and good at their job and they had drawing and puzzles to entertain the kids.

We've been going to blitza for 10 years now and nothing beats it. Food is always fresh and our favourites still taste just as good after all these years. Great service and price all around just a great place for a meal.

Enjoyed a meal with a group recently. Had a 3 course meal of antipasto, fillet steak, affogato for dessert. Friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere.

Both pasta dishes were over salted in my opinion. The pasta itself was cooked a bit past al dente and there was too much sauce. I feel bad for saying this because the service is some of the best I've experienced and the meals arrived very quickly. Visit Blitza for a decent meal and a great time.

Spent a lovely evening out with a group of friends from the local Shane Cameron fitness gym. The customer service was amazing, the staff were happy and really looked like they loved what they were doing. Food was delicious!

First time coming here walked in and it smelt so so good!! Food was so lovely and the staff were extra friendly and helpful!! Very very nice experience I would totally recommend a little pricey but worth it honestly! Super awesome job!

I have only been to the restaurant once so far but we normally place an phone order. Their food is amazing and always love eat what they have prepared. Their restaurant is small and quint and can be loud at times but still makes for a good time. The service is also very good and very friendly

Quite expensive for vegetarian pasta..a bit of hassle trying to move tables as there was a bad draft and initially the front door could not be closed..also a shame that other customers could not have their tiny dog inside the entrance door but had to eat in quite a gale outside to eat.. but that is just my opinion as I live animals...no one would have even seen it..

Didn’t like that everything sounds nice but is doused in neopolitana sauce especially limited if you don’t fancy tomato stuff... maybe look at la Rosa menu out west, the food is divine!

Dined twice over 4 days all the way from our home of Queenstown... A little expensive but the meals all us received were simply brilliant.. as was the service....
