Bodega is a little hidden gem in West Auckland. This is due to the eatery's set up, open outdoor flow and lovely views. The service from all the staff was excellent. They were attentive and professional. Across the board the food was average hence the four stars. The food needs more love...more flavour.

I only discovered this place by chance. I wanted to check out the antique store, and was looking for parking, when I stumbled on this place. It was 26 degrees, and I thought an ice cold beer won't go amiss. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. They have quite a substantial drinks menu including all sorts of wines, beers, spirits, non alcoholic, and hot beverages. Their menu has several crowd pleasers, and something for everyone. I was very disappointed with the jalopeno meal because of ratio vs price. On the other hand, I was very impressed with the "side" order of chips and salad. And the beer was, in fact, ice cold! In all it's a great place. Lovely indoor, outdoor, and patio seating, with a view over the vineyards. It gives it a nice country feel, even though it's practically on my doorstep. I will definitely come again.

Nice little vineyard in Henderson. A good list of wine, very tasty. Food was great portion and healthy ingredients. Would go back for a wine tasting with friends.

Had a wonderful time here! gorgeous setting, elegant and tasteful. food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. I was especially impressed by the way they help ensure any kids who come along will enjoy their evening too! Lots of garden space, colouring in sheets and pencils provided, connect four and beanbags to play with in the shade and animals to view I would recommend making a reservation prior to going.

The staff make this venue a delightful experience - nothing was too much trouble, the restaurant was cool and had a relaxed polished vibe - the food was outstanding - I totally recommend Bodega !!!! Easy to hear people talking as well in case of bringing elderly friends here for a meal

Visited for a casual work lunch. Arrived before the others, staff greeted me checked my vaccine cert without making a big deal and gave option to sit inside or outside. When the others arrived we choose outside as it was a great day. Staff were friendly and attentive. Options to choose from in the menu was good with something for everyone in our small group. Food arrived promptly and was excellent. I have never been here before but I will be coming back.

Came here for a small family function, was a lovely venue. Staff were friendly and the plates bought around were excellent. Has a bar onsite, and a lovely selection of wine and beer. Venue has inside and outside dining and is set in park/farm like grounds. Parking available. Staff were friendly and service was very good.

First visit to this restaurant on Friday. Food was great...well exceeded our expectations from the reviews! I had gogonzola ravioli that was fab and he had scollop salad. Both were really good. Great wine list and I had a really yummy glass of sangria. Dessert was good too. Staff attentive and everything was prompt. Dessert muscat wine was a bonus. We will be going again and taking friends.

We came with a large group for Sunday lunch. We had calamari for starters. For our mains my partner had the beef burger and I had the chicken pappardelle pasta. I enjoyed my pasta which was tasty but the burger was okay, it needed a bit more sauce. The venue is great for a nice sunny day like we have but they also have ample space indoors. I wasn't amazed by the food but I'll be keen to try the rest of their menu.

What a hidden gem. Went for breakfast and dinner at this restaurant and it was great. All of the food had great quality and quantity. Although the food during dinner service was a bit steep, the service, food and experience made up for it. We received great service from the staff and the place has a great location, surrounded by farmland and a vineyard. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to eat somewhere peaceful and relaxing in busy Auckland.

First time visit after the place was taken over from the artisan winery. The food was all great and staff was also very friendly. I have intolerance to garlic but didn't expect they'd be able to make so many food garlic free. Will definitely come back again.

What a gem, hidden in the middle of nowhere. I only found this place by chance and I'm glad I did. The food portions are big by any stretch of the imagination but it was absolutely delicious. I highly highly recommend. You'll fall in love with this place.

What a lovely little surprise. We tried this place on our way home from the beach and weren’t sure what to expect when we turned down the drive way. The place looks great with the hanging lights and bright umbrellas, with a vineyard in the background. Staff were super friendly and the food was great. We went for brunch but are keen to come back one afternoon for wine and tapas!

Celebrated a family birthday there this weekend and were delighted with the effort put in. Staff were super freindly and worked so hard to make sure our needs were met. We were comfortable and out of the sun, with plenty of umbrellas. The food was really yummy and served promptly, we were a party of 16. I would recommend this restaurant to everybody. Went to the opening today 5th June 2020 of new ownership. Had the Steak special (steak with mushroom sauce, fries), Garlic bread starter and a drink (house wine or juice) - was cooked nicely, presented well, adequate portion and tasted tops! Good for cost. I booked online to come in the following morning and received confirmation that the booking was confirmed online. Woke up in the morning to a email saying that they were full and had to cancel my booking. I have never eaten at Bodega so i don't want to post a negative review or give you a low rating as that doesn't seem fair but I did think you may want the feedback that your online booking system is flawed and may need some attention. I intend to try again sometime as I have heard good things. Thanks

Lovely eatery with all the staple tapas dishes you could want and a great wine list. Lots of parking down the drive. Staff were wonderful - just the right level of friendliness and attentiveness. Coffee was also really good. Only disappoinment was that we ate too much to be able to try the desserts!

Well... We ordered, and then waited for over half an hour before a small bowl of fries (which were yummy) and a pizza came out (at the same time), you'd think that they would deliver the fries first before the pizza (whilst the pizza was cooking) but NO, by this time, we'd finished our coffee's and were about to start eating the table.. The pizza was ho-hum, lacking seasoning and a odd mix of flavours, the tomato sauce base had a bit of taste, if it didn't it it would have been as bland as!! (shrimp, shaved ham and cheese)

We had a wonderful lunch here! The food was delicious and not too expensive. The atmosphere was relaxing with nice, appropriate music and our waitress was just the right amount of helpful and discreet. The pizza base is to die for, absolutely perfect 👌. The only improvement I would make is to add a sweet chutney type sauce to the share player... It would make a nice balance against all the savoury tastes and the very garlicy aioli. Can't wait to go back!

Great location, nestled in amoungst a vineyard. The restaurant itself is basically a converted house and doesn't appear to have originally been thought out or planned on being a restaurant. Its cosy , but quite noisy when at capacity. If you're going during summer I'd imagine there lots more space and seating outside, but on a wet day I recommend booking to ensure a table. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is good, but not amazing. Good range of tapas style meals. Pricing is reasonable for the quality of food, service and location.

We purchased a grab one voucher and was excited to try this place being close to home and having never eaten here. The service was very good with staff being very friendly and welcoming. Tapas were yummy and we enjoyed them. My husband liked his main but then there was my main. It was bad. Seafood pappardelle don't get it. The pasta was suppose to be fresh and handmade instead it was exactly like the dried packet spaghetti that you buy for $1 and the sauce was not nice at all. Also pappardelle is not spaghetti which I got. Please guys work on this it was really disappointing and we probably won't be back. Also the idea of grab one voucher is to get people in to try your food and then come back. They then recommend that place to others, just saying.

Had a meal in Bodega Eatery when stayed at Miharo bed and breakfast up the road. The food was excellent! Had a "Bodega Platter" and Steak. The steak is a show case with tender juicy local NZ beef cooked perfect to my medium rare request. The vineyard setting was romantic, my girl friend was so surprised with the whole experience. Will come again!

Frozen margarita is amazing, asked for no chilli due to allergy was given chilli, found a hair in my carrot but honestly they are only human. The food was still amazing, staff are lovely. The only downside is how noisy it is but... can I suggest a different blender, like the ones cafes have with the cover? Your blender is soooo noisy it gave people a fright everytime it was turned on.

I’ve been to Bodega lots of times for birthdays, anniversaries and business meetings. Staff are always friendly, service and menu are good. A lovely setting for a good meal with friends or a drink and tapas. Highly Recommended

I have been dining at Bodega for YEARS, and it has never been a let down! I luckily work close to Bodega which makes my work friends and I big fans of the $25 Lunch Menu. This includes garlic bread, a house drink and a lunch main (on their selected menu Wed-Friday) The restaurant itself is in a private and beautiful setting which I love on its own. Then you add food to the mix and I am in my happy place! I highly recommend their Cabonara Dish... but also everything else on their menu is always a hit as well! The staff that were working on Wednesday 16th March were all so amazing (So sorry, I usually ask for names but I totally forgot today) We always receive such fast and friendly service, and I have never had any bad experiences here with the food or service! Highly Recommend Thank you so much!
