A.I was craving something nutritious but still super tasty and Boss Don delivered! I really appreciated the sustainable packaging and selection of vegetable-based dishes. Super delicious and fresh - I loved every mouthful ♥️
N.Oh. My. Goodness. Legit good food!!! That Poppin' Seoul and Teri Teri Man burgers were sooo good. The fried chicken was so moist and crispy. Everything added on the burger was really delicious. The kimchi fries were also amazing. The kimchi was used so perfectly, complemented the sauces and the crispy green onions. Cheesecake was small but decandent. Oh. My. Goodness. Soooo good! 100% recommend!!!
N.Holy sh^t, what a place. We don't get burgers like that in Hamilton. Ordered via Uber eats. Super fast prep time (we probably beat the dinner rush) and probably the best chicken burger and custard donut I have ever had. The chili chicken had a perfect amount of heat (for me anyway). Super impressed!

Went here while on holiday, roughly three times and it was amazing! Kimchi fries were the star! Burgers are immaculate too!
L.Go to in Ponsonby for a tasty and well priced donburi. Also, only takes around 10 min for your order to be complete. Can be a hit and miss sometimes with any adaptations to the order, but other than that it's not bad for quick and cheap takeaway. Also is a burger joint, so their menu range is pretty decent.

L.OMG. This place is INSANEEE!! the quality of the meals are top notch for the average price you'd expect to pay in most donburi or Japanese style takeaway shops!
Usually places you go to have very basic dumplings, very basic donburi, but this place, slather on yummy sauces, adds things like braised pork on top of the dumplings, mmmm.... The attention to detail is immaculate and the taste made me want to orgasm. 5 stars!!

L.Ordered delivery and the Poppin Seoul plburger was amazing!! The edge of the burger bun was still crispy and the chicken was so tender and juicy! And the seaweed salad was delicious as well but the portion was too small.
M.Highlight was that the food was delicious!! I ordered their signature Poppin Seoul burger and I seriously loved the flavours and how tender and juicy the chicken was. The only downside was how unfortunately messy it was to eat... I don't mind too much but it will be quite a challenge if you like having clean hands. Just a heads up if you've never been, the place is small with not much seating so not the ideal place for a big crowd. Lots of Uber Eats deliveries being done though which is probably the better option:) Would very happily try more of the menu another day.
M.Awesome food and Korean glazed fried chicken is boss. Also had the spicy Ruben burger and missus had the pulled pork. Both were amazing!
Would have been 5stars if they had more sauce or mayo with the fried chicken.
#.Absolutely loved everything we ordered from here! Had the Vege don and it was good, dumplings were good and fries were amazing! Definately quite a unique mix of flavours if you feeling like Japanese food!
K.We ordered from here on deliver easy while on holiday as we were too tired to go out. The asian fusion burgers were appealing to us & the kids. Everything was delicious, however, when my husband bit into his chicken burger, the chicken was completely bloody & raw on the inside. Obviously this was quite off putting (& the reason our rating isn't higher). I had the beef burger, this too was "rare", I understand this is common, however, my personal preference would be for it to be cooked a little more. The karaage chicken & fries were delicious, we would go here again, but be a little more cautious when biting into our chicken!
C.Great burgers, always a favourite. Juicy crispy chicken, the nori fries are awesome. Drove from Torbay to Ponsonby for one. Time to expend to the north side team!
D.Had food delivered from Boss Don and it was really good! We ordered the Spicy Chicken Katsu Don and the Korean Glazed Karaage Chicken--yum!! Portion and size were just right for the price and it was flavourful. Also ordered the salmon salad which was still good. Unfortunately it only had about five, thin pieces of the salmon.
Can't wait to try their other menu items!

G.Actually really good food, I've ordered from here 5 times in the past year and love the quality. The only reasons I have to give a lower star is because 1 of the 5 times the order never came from Uber and was still charged $70 we waited almost two hours and had to re organise dinner at 9pm I rang them but the staff said they have no responsibility over the Uber order and I should contact Uber. The second reason is 3 times I have ordered the Karage it has not come with the Korean glaze it shows and states on the menu image and description. Other than that the taste is definitely among the top Asian fast food in Auckland.
J.first time trying this place. ordered on menulog and picked up at p much the correct time. its a popular place with people ordering online and waiting for pickups. nice and fresh and hot. i got the poppin seoul burger and takoyaki, tako was p good nice and hot. chicken burger was not bad as well, seasoned and cooked well not harsh. i personally like the pickled veg rather than the usual cold tomato, lettuce and onion/dry rocket leaves combo and about the same price as tiger burger in grey lynn so why not - def keen to try something else next time! def rec ordering online if u can
E.We always order takeout from here. Their Japanese curry & Takoyaki is the best in Auckland in my opinion! Will probably be ordering lots of curry through winter. So rich and full of flavour. Portion sizes reflect price but when you add how it looks and tastes you're really getting value for money. I would also recommend their karaage chicken & beef burgers. Haven't had anything I don't like from the menu. They're also super quick in preparing the food.

S.Had teriyaki chicken burger, 1st time, and it was great. juicy chicken, well seasoned, loads of sauce. Had karage chicken the other time on its own, it was a bit dry though.

J.Just finished two lovely takeaway meals from this great new addition on Ponsonby Rd - Yellow Fin Tuna Tataki salad and Tofu Katsu Don. Both dishes were fresh and full of flavour, super healthy and totally yum, Will definitely be coming back to try some more of Boss Dons take out food!

C.Was looking for Miso soup to help with the winter cold and found this place on uber eats. Food was amazing! Will definitely order again. Delivery was fast and still hot.
E.I got the pork katsudon with teriyaki sauce. So amazing!!! Definitely recommend coming here. So good for the price and I’ll be coming back here again soon because wow that meal was amazing. Such quick service also. A nice vibe to eat solo or with a small group of people
