Really enjoyed our experience here. We live closeby and would have never known about this place if it wasn't for First Table. We ordered a Truffle Cheesy Pizza, Calamari, Pork sliders, Duck salad, two cocktails (White Cosmo). Duck salad is amazing! Would go back purely for that. Decent service and a fair amount of attention. Food came out quickly, but could have been hotter I.e. calamari and pizza were lukewarm. Next time I'd like to give the local beer a try.

We came here the other night before a movie. We were served initially by a lovely irish lady who was super helpful. The food wasn't too bad but was definitely a bit overpriced for the portion sizes. Once we received our food we didn't really have anyone check in with us or bring more water. Two of the wait staff were constantly gossiping the whole time we were there which my partner found very distracting.

Really like the relaxed atmosphere and lighting. Also, there are different spaces to sit depending on your mood / interest. Grab a pint with a mate, watch a sporting event, catch a meal with the family, try out lady luck or remotely work.

Been a couple of times lately. With family for dinner - we all enjoyed our meals and stopped in for a drink with a friend a few weekends ago. The cocktails were awesome. Saw there was a small stage area with equipment, but no band and rugby on the big screen. Must check out when they have live music.

A nice and bubbly place right in the middle of botany town centre. The food was really good. I had the veg taco and it was brilliant. The staff is bubbly and the ambience is also quite nice. A good place to have a comfy dinner.

I love this place so much!! The food was so amazing! The pork schnitzel was such a massive portion. All the food that I had with my friends were all big portions. The drinks on the other hand were not only pretty but delicious!🥺 the pina colada trees and the special drink that the bartender made for my friends and I!!! Claudia and Rachel were so amazing, they made me feel special throughout the night m. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good place to dine out at❤️ Shout out to all the workers! To all the managers as well Dani, Alex, Rachel and Callum! Fxcking amazing! Oh and the girl with the pretty nails x❤️

We were seated quickly and given menus, however we were not checked on for at least 15 minutes. It seemed like the staff disappeared all at once as nobody in the area was checked on during this time. When we were finally served the service and staff presence definitely picked u, however we definitely would have ordered more drinks if we were checked on more often. Decent food and drink options, however disappointed that Stella Artois was served in a regular glass.

This place has a lovely atmosphere and the decor is great. Our waitress was fantastic - really friendly and checked on us frequently to make sure we were fine. The downside was the food - it was OK but didn't seem worth the price. We got one of the pizzas and a fish burger. While well-presented, the fish burger in particular was tasteless. Would have liked to see a wider range of cocktails.

The place is really nice, although the TV volume and music a bit high (club level) The service is good to average as majority of waitresses are young/inexperienced however they are friendly and you can see they try. We had a schnitzel (really good and awesome portion) double cheeseburger (bit over done but nicely seasoned) and the creme brûlée: I was not impressed as it was cold but ny wife liked it, so go figure. I will give it another go in some months

We ate dinner here tonight. I had to send my main back and request for another dish. We have had the lamb rump here previously but tonight it came out cold and tasted like it was stewed (we ordered a medium) why am i giving 4 stars? Because the steak my husband ordered was delicious, the pink gin cocktail was yummy and the servers were so great about taking back the lamb and replacing with another meal. I think we had 3 different people apologize to us for the non standard quality of the meal. Thank you 😊

Great environment and as always staff wonderful with good range of drinks, music and seating. Food seemed different with smaller portions for big prices and didn't seem it's usual standard. I had fish and chips which was 2 small peices of fish some shoestring chips and golf ball size mushy peas, friend had pork snitzel incredibly thin some mash gravey and around $50+ for both.

We have both booked ahead for Dinner and just popped in for lunch. The food has always been great as has the friendly service. The decor and indoor outdoor flow is great too. Be it a girls lunchtime catchup, a boys beer before the big game, a family celebration, or a quiet wine, pizza and conversation Botany Commons is professional, welcoming and a good time out.

Went there for Valentine with my wife, in our 25 years of marriage we've absolutely enjoyed our time. Had the Hawkes Bay Lamb Rump and it was splendid! Awesome recomdendation from Alex S about Macs gold for my drink. Customer service was exquisite or in Google's term 5 star!

Great food, great ambience and awesome service. Always a pleasure to visit. We had a slight delay to our meals and desert due to the amount of group bookings now that the festive season has begun. The shift manager was very apologetic even though we hadn't complained. Yeah okay it may have been delayed but we were told when we got seated that meals would take 30 minutes. We were not fussed as we were enjoying the atmosphere and relaxing. We still got the best service from the team. The dinner was awesome. The drinks and desert was on the house because of the delay. Now this is what I call going above and beyond for your customers. Great service guys, this wasn't our first visit and surely won't be our last. 😊😊😊

I have dined at this establishment numerous times now due to the superb quality of service provided by the more than competent staff member's and the quality home grown food that is available on the menu, compliments to the chef on sourcing local produce and meats, and producing exceptional quality meals that a big lad myself can appreciate, flavor wise and portion wise. If in need of a quality drop to either end or an aperitif to start your meal, the class knowledge of bar managers Danielle, Chelsea and Callum, will surely point you to the right direction with ample experience in food and wine pairing and with class banter to add.Caitlyn has served us on countless times and would consistently go beyond the normal service needed of her. All in all I would thoroughly recommend, the class service that the staff at Commons provide whether it be a intimate meal for two or a family occasion where a party of twelve upwards needed to be catered for, well done staff at Commons you are all an asset to the Botany area.

A bar tab was put on by the birthday person, and drinks (tap beer) were $5 each, great! I paid with my card through the evening and the eftpos read $5. No surchages was mentioned in the eftpos. I spent over $100 at the bar, and kept an eye on the what I spent. But the next day I checked my bank statement I was charged $5.09 for each drink. Not sure where the extra 9 cents came from?

First time there for lunch. Service is quick and wait staff are friendly. We got the Mac Bowl which was large and very yum. Garlic pizza bread also yum with lots of garlic and cheese. Also got small serving of calamari rings which was a decent serving size. We couldn't quite finish everything....two of us. We will be back.

The food was good. No complaints there. The service was good too. It's a nice environment, the place looks great after the renovation. However, the place is too expensive. 2 small pulled pork tacos for $18. Beef burger with bacon for $29. For the prices, I won't be rushing back. It's a shame.

What a face lift! awesome new pub, had the 3 foot big mac pizza tasted incredible along with a pork belly with work colleagues. Service was really good too. Went back on Saturday night with some mates to watch the rugby they had a band that was great and the whisky list incredible. will be my new local for sure!

I am a vegetarian and they Catered to the amazingly, Started with cauli bites I Then ordered the chicken on Polenta For my main And swapped the chicken for Broccoli and mushrooms with no problems at all finished the night with the snickers waffles which were to die for!!
