We just love Bucks Bistro. Best menu selection if you want comfort or something a little more technical. The young staff bend over backwards to make sure you have a fun & enjoyable experience. Keep up the good work guys.

Oh, they're GOOD, y'all! The dinner menu was a bit too "winter bistro comfort food" for summer, so we dropped in for brunch instead, and it's great! Friendly, good coffee, good views and people watching, and kickass eggs benedict with a dash of olive oil on the plate instead of lemon in the sauce to balance out the burnt butter hollandaise. Seems weird to mention it,, but good Covid protocols, too. The breakfast menu looked great, heaps of other options to choose from, but unfortunately lacks the pancake or French toast sweet breakfast option, which is apparently out of fashion. Looking forward to coming back and trying the rest of the menu!

Came by for a birthday party. They had a nice selection of beverages and the snacks that came around was interesting particularly the duck doughnuts. Food was quite nice and would be keen to try the restaurant.

Food was different and very tasty. However, the young staff still have a few things to learn. 1. Serving a bottle of beer with a glass would be good! 2. They brought the dessert menu to the table, but never returned to take our order. There were four patrons left in the restaurant at the time. 3. We would have liked a coffee to finish, but no mention of coffee in the menu or drinks menu. Still a ways to go guys!

Excellent night out at Bucks Bistro. Excellent service and the food came out in good time. We had the Tuna tataki and slowcooked pork shoulder for appetizers. Braised beefcheek and 300g Scotch fillet for mains. Dessert is also worth checking out, the pecan crumble and ice cream was also good. Good atmosphere and music

Very rare that every single course from entree to dessert is so delicious but bucks managed to impress with every single dish. Not only was the food amazing but the service was some of the best we've had and very family friendly. Strongly recommend giving bucks bistro a try.

Food is tops! Would have given 5 stars but wait staff should perhaps receive a bit more training, however everyone was very friendly. I would definitely go again and highly recommend. The food is divine!

Epic food, epic views by epic people. Amazing to see you all keeping on going during what must be the most difficult time. Menu is fantastic - scampi the best I’ve had. What more could you want on a Thursday evening - all the vibes plus service that endeavours to please! Can’t wait to go back!

The ambience is mind blowing. Meat options were good, my mate with vegetarian option was not happy with his meal presented. Drinks were offered to our group several times during our stay. I expect management improves a balance menu

Food is AMAZING but felt sorry for the staff struggling with knowing what to do. They were so lovely but did seem stressed and undertrained - walking on eggshells almost as one did get told off. We booked for Sunday lunch, looking forward to steak and seafood but when we were given the menu we found out that the brunch menu did not end until 2pm - this was not on the website. So we had to wait, as we were celebrating a family event (we spent almost $500 for three of us) but felt let down by the experience. The owner was there and extremely friendly to locals she knew but totally ignored us and it was not at all busy. The chef however is beyond amazing and we will go back for his creations. The decor is relaxing and a wonderful location. Just a few things to iron out.

Food was great as normal, very busy yesterday evening but everything was prompt. Wait staff were clearly working double time but did so with a smile. Good zibe. Small menu but well executed which seems like right way to go at this time where hospo challenges are so large. Look forward to seeing the autumn/winter menu

We had been here in July for a lunch which we enjoyed and service was great. We got takeout Whitebait fritters and coffee. The staff were delightful to us. Making ordering, paying and delivering very easy. The meal was great and what a treat. We will be back for sure.

Stopped in to grab a quick flat white, they were pretty bad. (Milk way to frothed, coffee weak and watery.) considering the flash machine and all press beans. Service was alright. Cool fit out and location!

18th Birthday breakfast for my daughter and second time here. Friendly staff a really nice atmosphere with cool music. The food was amazing again the pulled pork eggs Bennie is the best I've had & kids Loved the beef burgers. Highly recommend making this place a regular!!!

This is a really cool restaurant with a wonderful ambience - with different seating options to suit casual, relaxed or formal diners. Finally a restaurant pumping some chill beats in the background and not pan flutes or 80's cringe. The food and service is very good. Highly recommend the muscle pot - enough for two people.

Absolutely impeccable!! I had the chicken schnitzel and it was absolutely delicious. It was perfectly cooked and the flavour was awesome. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a lovely night by the beach. Excellent view as well. Staff were super nice and the service was great.

Beautiful restaurant in a beautiful setting. Food was good, we had the squid and liver parfait (very good). The lemon tart dessert special that they have at the moment is not to be missed.

Lunch service was great as restaurant was unusually quiet. Chicken liver parfait was excellent, small thick foccacia toast perfect to go with it. Fried squid perfect also. Let down was the pulled pork, very stringy tough and overcooked so virtually inedible.

Went to Bucks Bistro for the first time last night. When we arrived, there were still people at our table from an earlier sitting however Amanda immediately offered us a temporary table outside under the heater with rugs - she also offered a round of drinks free of charge - and then surprised us by having one of the team bring us a flatbread to keep us sustained until the table became free. The rest of the evening was awesome - with delicious food, wine and excellent service from her team. It is great to get this level of dining and service at a local restaurant - and will make going out for a special night much easier than travelling all the way into town - I could imagine a slow summer lunch admiring the view to be an extremely pleasant way to spend and afternoon as well - good luck going forwards.

We absolutely enjoyed our meal. Amanda is such a lovely person and really cares about your experience and the quality. I would highly recommend coming here. The view is wonderful, kind and caring staff and the decor, music and ambiance is gorgeous.

Staff were great, very friendly. My steak was cooked exactly how I like it. No complaints there, I just found that the tables are too small for four people and are too crammed in, it was very difficult getting into my chair to sit down without bumping into the people sitting behind us.
