Cheeky little get away before going to the amazing Rialto Cinema for some escapism. Tasty burgers. We had wine and I got a standard cheeseburger. Just delicious. Support Local.

There was once a time when Auckland had zero burger game and I welcomed Burger Burger. The best we had at that time was Burger Fuel, and let’s be honest, that didn’t really hit. But sadly in a world where we have Baby G Burger and Cantine, Burger Burger is no longer near the top so I’m dropping it to 4 star. Still good though.

Most scrumptious burger ever - had the cajun chicken and was soooo good. Will definately go back again and recommend anyone who hasn't tried their burgers to give it a go as u won't be disappointed.

Superb burger! I love it. There are 2 burger menus, the classic and jazzy burgers. Classic burgers can choose different type of serving, like a salad, wrap, bun, gf bun. Jazzy burgers is kind of special burger by the restaurant. I've tried The Kiwi Classic and McFly, they are both good but I prefer McFly more. The Kiwi Classic is quite big for me. The Staff is really helpful and friendly. They showed us a table and gave us time to check the menu. There was also another waiter checking and making sure we have our order and not waiting for any other waiters/waitresses.

The size of these were massive. I absolutely love the kumara fries! The place itself is beautifully decorated and the staff were friendly. The only thing that took one star away was the flavour of the burger. They were ok, not really memorable

I'm definitely a meat eater, but I also love Tofu and this is by far one of the best vegetarian/tofu burgers I've ever had...I ordered the new vege burger and I wish I had taken a photo of the burger cut in half so you could see all the ingredients in its glorious tastiness, but after the first bite, I couldn't think straight and inhaled it! The charred broccoli was so delicious I had everyone at the table picking from it too. The portions look small but they're so filling. We all wanted dessert but couldn't really fit much in so we asked if they'd be able to quarter a cookie sandwich for us and they totally delivered. We got the snickers cookies with salted caramel ice cream, so freakin good! To top everything off, the staff are extremely attentive and provide exceptional friendly service. This branch of BB is also located in a really nice, less busy area of New Market.

I thoroughly enjoyed the fish burger and popcorn chicken at Burger Burger in Newmarket and the peanut butter shake was divine. Service was amazing, very engaging and prompt and the bathrooms were very impressive too!

Not a bad burger place. Great menu with authentic flavors. Portion size a little small though even for a small person like me so need to order sides. Do not get the tofu burger as its really sour - if you do ask for sauce on the side

I've been here many times now and the quality of the food and service have always been great. The burgers are not too pricey and are fairly decent in size. There are also ample seatings so it's a good option for a decent sized group.

These guys do know how to make amazing burgers! I’m definitely gonna come back and try each and every one of them. Chips are another surprise, crisp outside and soft inside. Best choice when you are super hungry or in bad mood. These energy burgers will save your day.👌🏼

As always the quality of food at Burger Burger was absolutely amazing. I always chance my arm on the special burger and it always delivers. The Truffle Trouble burger this time was definitely one of the best. At the same time, the customer service is always as good as the food, always quick to serve and always with a good joke along the way. Sitting in the Auckland sun, outside with a big Lion Red and a big burger from here is about as good as it gets for Friday work lunch. Keep being you!

Peanut Butter Chocolate thickshake was yummy, burgers were fairly standard. Lots of icecreamy dessert options. Overall not bad, but not really worth the price; $18 for the Kiwi Burger, $11 for a shake?

Burger Burger does not disappoint! Not only do they make a smashing burger but I also love that they have listened to their customers special requests and now offer options like 'balads' ( awesome for gluten free/low carb diets) and vegan options. Plus, those Kumara chips would have to be some of the best i've ever tasted. Way to go guys, you're really moving with the times.

I can see why this place gets pretty busy. Burgers are well cooked and presented. We were only let down by the service which was slow probably because it was so busy. Overall food won and left with full bellies

Always been impressed with the Ponsonby branch. Went to Burger burger new market for a change. Nice atmosphere. Ordered the pork belly bao special ($16) and popcorn chicken ($14) pictured. Unfortunately their printer wasn't working and had to wait an unusually long time for the orders to arrive - slightly frustrating as we were starving! They did apologize and took the popcorn chicken off the bill so that was good of them. Id rate the pork belly bao 8/10 tasty, nice crunch and wish I had more (their burgers have always been top notch too). The popcorn chicken was meh and I probably wouldnt have paid $14 for them in retrospect. Overall a good experience apart from a few small hiccups but willing to come back to give it another go!

If you're looking for a GOOD classic burger that will fill you up (not like Maccas that you are full but hate yourself), then this place is THE place. Great beef and cheese burger, chicken burger was amazing as well. Great burger, the only criticism would be they put the beetroot at the bottom of the burger which made the bun soggy, couldn't pick it up as the bun just disintegrates. Great space nice atmosphere friendly staff.

Amazing good burgers. So glad we choose to have late lunch there. Made my day. We had a classic beef burger and a 'fake beef' veggie burger (best vegetarian burger I have had in a restaurant). Tasty, fresh ingredients, friendly service. They have a new order system (you basically order and pay with an app) which I find a bit awkward as for me, interacting with staff is part of the whole 'going out' experience. Only 4 stars for the seating options. Would be great if the restaurant had a nicer / sunnier outdoor area.

I was lured here by the other favourable reviews and maybe this caused a certain expectation but in reality the food was so-so really. The potato skins were nice but the recommended ol' Smokey was not particularly amazing. Is it better than Burgerfuel? Well in my humble opinion it's probably about the same.

Abit of a disappointing experience. After 15 minutes waiting to order we then realized it was online orders only and not being told this at the start. The only interaction with the staff was at the start when we were told to pick a spot to sit And when they brought our food out. I used to rave about Burger Burger and would always recommend it to friends. I don't know what has changed (maybe a management turnover, or the popularity boom) but the quality of food has plummeted while the high prices remain. The atmosphere and service has always been awesome and remains at it's high standard but the food has not. There are definitely better burger places in Auckland with a cheaper menu! Don't believe the hype! (but if you do go, definitely try the potato skins, they are the only things I would go back for)...

What a cool place! Really enjoyed the vibe here, it’s so relaxed. We got there and were lucky enough to get a table. We got the menu given to us and shortly we placed our order. I was really happy with my grilled chicken burger and my Black Forest cocktail was so tasty! Not long after we arrived they got busy and the place was fully booked. Our service was really nice and we both had a really good time. My partner got the vege burger and he enjoyed but the highlight for him was the peanut butter milkshake. We both had a good night and we will be back again

I’m finally getting round to updating this review with more than just pictures, however the burger from this picture is a little bit misrepresentative because it was a special they were doing for this massive af burger that feeds 4 people (go with 3 people because you will want more than a quarter each lol). Hot dang this burger was good – it was perfectly formed. It tasted as good, if not better than how the normal burgers taste – the perfect ratio of meat to pickle to cheese to sauce, and incredible how they got the meat so perfectly well done yet juicy for a patty the size of a trash can lid. Beyond this burger, the staff are friendly and attentive, you sit in nice surroundings with indoor/outdoor seating and the place is vibing. Based on this experience it’s an easy 5/5 and would happily go back, their deserts and drinks are also excellent!

Definitely recommend however my only critique would be that most of the time your takeaway orders are ready way earlier that the time specified therefore are almost cold when you go to pick them up. A long list of about a dozen burger options on the menu as well as rotating specials which are always an interesting take on a burger. They also do the nicest shakes!! Every now and again they also run a burger competition where you can enter your imaginative burger combination with the chance to have it made in their kitchen for a week!

Almost iconic burger establishment in Newmarket. Food is alright, occasionally amazing, some interesting sides. However, the service is utterly appalling and has further declined of late! We've waited over an hour for burger and fries, drinks always need following up & food rarely arrives together! on a couple of occasions 20 minutes apart!

Tasty burger and nicely seasoned shoestring fries! The bun was fresh and toasted and seasoned with garlic, or else it was the burger"s seasoning rubbed off onto it. Burger was cooked medium as requested. Highly recommend.

What more can you ask for - love going here for dining in or takeaways every few weeks. They keep the menu exciting with weekly specials but also retain the classics. One of my favourite places to pick up a quick burger and it never disappoints.

The food was cooked well however I thought the fried chicken thighs lacked flavour as well as one of the beef burgers. They were well seasoned with salt & pepper, but the chicken just tasted bland. Aoili and curly fries were yummy as usual. Honey cola was not to our liking, we perhaps would have enjoyed a simple cola w/out honey etc. The outside trestle table was sticky on top so we got one of the workers to wipe it down but it was still sticky..and the table was quite narrow.. The staff were very friendly and hospitable, and the look of the restaurant was cool and had a chill feel to it. I liked the unisex toilets 🚻 - I could be wrong? All in all it was an okay experience based on the food we ate that day. :) I would go back and try other dishes some time

Great hidden gem with delightful outside seating for the warm Summer evenings. The BB Broccoli was so delish we ordered a second plate. Service is exceptional and the extra care given by the owner's Mum made our experience all the better.

The atmosphere & restaurant at Newmarket is fantastic. The wait times slightly irritating, it'd be great if they could take bookings. I love their side dishes & bunnace option, however do find the side dishes to be too salty & oily. Other than that I think Burger Burger do a fantastic job

Not great for vegans. Their buns aren't vegan so you'll end up eating a falafel burger wrapped in lettuce and with no sauce as the one that comes with the only vegan friendly burger is yogurt-based. The chips options are cool. For a good vegan burger, prefer Lord of the fries or burger fuel.

Went here in November at around 7pm. Easy parking with Westfield Newmarket and a short walk. Burgers are good side (Quite filling), we also ordered sides (skins, fries and kumara fries) which were crispy and nice. The milkshake was good as well. Will visit again

Went here on Saturday for my baby sisters birthday with my parents and three other siblings. It was the first time they have ever been and they were absolutely amazed by the great food but also the awesome service in particular since being a people watcher....I noticed a staff member named Alex go out of his way to get a chair for a girls broken leg to rest on. She never asked, she wasn't expecting anything yet he pulled up a seat and she was very thankful. It's the small things. See you guys in the coming weeks to keep the body full and warm 😎

Burger I got was delicious being the first burger burger expérience of mine. Everything was fresh and not the most oil I've ever seen on a patty. The chips were A+++ ... perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The peanut butter milkshake I got was okay, not on time and honestly wouldn't buy again but I am willing to try other flavours.

They have specials every couple of weeks which are always interesting, but the regular burgers hit the spot too. They always ask how you want the beef done which is not that common now. Enjoyable burger with excellent pickled cucumbers in it. Added a really good zing. We also had the onion rings and the potato skins. I was less enthusiastic about the potato skins because they weren’t really skins but quite large - almost a side of a potato. They tasted good tho and so did the aioli sauce. The interior is roomy and in the toilets they use toilet paper that’s good for the environment as well as your bum. Service was friendly and swift. We got our food very quickly.

For the price we paid per burger i would compare it to Ferg Burger in Queenstown however its nowhere as good as Fergs. The burgers need to be a bit bigger as i was a bit disappointed with the portion size. On the bright side the staff were really helpful and the restaurant itself has a pretty cool setup. Highly recommend trying their chocolate thickshake!!

The meals were made very quickly only waited around 10 mins from the time we ordered. Was a bit pricey but once you enter you will understand why.
