Highly recommend this place .The restaurant’s interior design was amazing. The staff are welcoming. We tried Rib eye the steak was so yummy, juicy asked them to made it well done and it came as I want . I suggest to add more veggies to it . The other dish was Lamb Tagine it was delicious the meat was cooked perfectly, it melted in the mouth. The spices was amazing My daughter ordered chicken skewers the test was very good and cooked well . It was served with sauces ( chili sauce, yogurt, harissa ) they were so yummy. There was one think I noticed that the couscous was a little bit dry . It is the best place to visit with your beloved family members.

We had a great time. The food was really nice flavoured and big portions. The kids menu was also nice. We where with a big group and all got our food at the same time. The lady who served us was very friendly. We will go back again.

Falafel was very nice! Everything was great. Best place for "better" dinner (understand better than a burger or a pub) in Sylvia Park.

I had the calamari dish. I liked it, it was good, but it felt a little short on calamari but abundant on greens. Lot of flavor to it for sure. Also the dessert, small piece of Baklava,was good! Just enough to complement as a dessert.

Comfortable seating and lovely decor. The food was delicious. We had the harissa tiger prawns which were perfectly cooked and very tasty, and the Moroccan lamb tagine which served a whole lamb shank and was very tender. Service was acceptable and would’ve given 5 if it was friendlier.

Thought I’d be adventurous and try one of the restaurants in Sylvia Parks lane way thingy 🤭. Anyway after wandering around I returned to an old favourite…because I’ve always enjoyed good experiences here and today has not disappointed. Warm welcome, glad they still check vaccines, perfect coffee and deliciously filling falafel lunch platter. It’s not cheap, but it is worth it. I’m grateful they have sustained the pandemic. It’s great to be able to eat out in good safe spacious spaces. Thanks Casablanca.

I have eaten here a couple of times and the service is always great the food is better than average and the place is always clean and tidy. Everytime I have been it has been doing far better than restaurants around it. Well worth try as the size of the meals are very bigger than average.

We have been coming to Casablanca for many years, raving about it, bringing friends and family to this restaurant. Food overall was great. Service was lacking - perhaps just tonight? We used to come here and get great service, attentive waiters that would notice when you had finished your water, entree, main, take your plates off the table, ask how your meals were and offer dessert, wine, coffee options and upsell. Annoyed to get an entree with no side plates to use and 3 triangles of bread to share for two people with 3 quite large dips. Took an hour to get two tagines. Had to ask two waiters where our meals were. We were starting to wonder if they even had our order. People next to us had to ask for water and then to try and flag a waiter down to order. Just the little things that used to make it great coming here that seem to have gone

The whole family enjoyed their meals. The children and the adults liked the way the kids meal chicken (real chicken) was cooked. The Citron chicken Tagine and Moroccan Lamb Tagine were good. The lamb being full flavoured lamb. Our teenager enjoyed the Moroccan Beef Burger as well as some of my lamb. The Mezze Platter was as good as the first time we tried it at the Orewa branch.

I am just giving four star because we booked a table for 10 of us two weeks ago and confirmed day before but when we got over there, staff associate said.we don't have any booking under that name ...bummer. Then Novjoyt s ( I think manager ) managed it very well ..joined few table together near the door and created space for us .food was nice as always ...staff helpful over all grate experience ...apart from booking thing .

Seeing the reviews draw my attention to choose this restaurant, but we believed everything the moment we got there. We were directed to our table for 2. Seated and menu were given. The experience that we had was fabulous, started from welcoming us by the staff, serving us, till when we said goodbye, everything was amazing. Food wise was fantastic our main course till we get our dessert, I had no other words to explain it but just said well done to all the staff. The restaurant was fully backed, busy but was on point. They are always busy from start and I am sure till the end. Merry Christmas guys and keep up the good work..will visit again. Thanks for the great service from all of you. Went for dinner here a couple of nights ago it has been several years and they have upgraded their outside seating area. The service was good and staff pleasant we shared a mezzo plate which was vegetarian with a bowl of fries. Very yummy. I also had dessert with a long black. Came by for dinner just before a movie. We had pre-booked but it wasn't busy so there were a few tables available. We had one inside by the door. The menu had quite a few interesting dishes particularly the tagines but I ended up trying the Greek meatballs. The dish was a platter of nicely seasoned and cooked vegetables with quite a few meatballs around the plate, covered with sauce. The meatballs were quite tasty and had a nice texture to them. Friends got the tagine and they looked nice, particularly the beef cheek one. The lamb cutlet was also nice but was a bit thin. The star of the meal was the baklava though. There was enough syrup to give it a chewy texture and it wasn't overly sweet. Nice roasted nut flavours and also still crispy. The only problem was that it was a fairly small portion, just about a mouthful. It was still a really nice way to end a meal. The service was friendly and it was very easy to get their attention when required.

The food was brilliant! I ordered the Jordan Hummus and my partner ordered the Chicken Kebab, and we were not disappointed at all. The kebab had an overdose of Rosemary but balanced with the right level of spices. The meat was beautiful cooked with the right level of charring. The Sangria was great too! Casablanca is one of my favourite eateries at Sylvia Park because the staff is excellent, the restaurant is light and bright with indoor outdoor seating and the food is reliably delicious every time. I simply adore the pan fried calamari, chicken tag I’ve and their desserts are wonderful took. Highly recommended!

The Fattoush salad is quite possibly my favourite salad, or even dish, out there. Dressed super well, with very fresh vegetables and extremely well made bread. The chicken is perfectly cooked and tender. It's slightly on the expensive side ($24), but whenever I get it I'm more than satisfied.

We felt comfortable- so comfortable that my friends and I stayed there for 3 hours (our overdue catch up). There was no pressure to leave or anything. Customer service was good. The coffee was the best I've tasted in a while. I originally asked what coffee beans they used and they did tell me the name but I forgot. Anyways I definitely will come back again and without a doubt would recommend this to my friends. Lastly, price of the food is fair as the quantity is pleasing.

What a pleasant surprise! I thought it was a Greek restaurant and I walked by. On my way back I read something about Istanbul and I decided to step inside. It was decorated as you can imagine a Beduine tent or an Arabic place. I asked if they had Baklava. They said yes and I took a seat I started with dolma, and it was very good. Don't go cheap, spend the extra money and add lamb. Main course was very good and to top it of, what MIGHT have been the best Baklava I have ever had. And they served Earl Grey tea from a "manly" sized tea pot. Highly recommended by Aladdin if you ever come tot he area

One of our faves - the lamb Jordan hummus is incredible and so it the steak on skewers. Their orange almond cake is also moist and the perfect desert to round up an incredible meal. Never left feeling hungry or disappointed.

The food was fabulous, the service was amazing from the Maitre D to the waitress. The decor was great and extended right through to the bathrooms which were very tastefully done. They were also spotlessly clean. Having to use a crutch at the time, I found it refreshing that the staff kept an eye out and always appeared out of nowhere to hold the doors open for me. The coffee was also excellent, my daughter having the perfect mocha and me having a decaf latte. This was a well priced lunch for two and a very pleasant experience. One thing that did strike me as particularly pleasing was to see that room was made for mums with their prams while they dined with friends and that they felt comfortable enough to breastfeed their babies - extremely discreetly of course. I will be happy to return to repeat this experience and will definately recommend to friends.

AAA+++++ We go there nearly every week. This has been our favorite family brunch place for years (at least 10 years). The fries and hot chocolate are the best we've ever had (we lived in Europe for a few years and these are still the best). Our girls love the chicken and rice and always ask us if they can go to the "nice rice" place. The staff are so lovely and its super relaxed and the kids are treated so nicely. We love Casablanca. Thanks for always having us:)

Lovely little spot with decent food. There were some hiccups with our food when it arrived, and some was "forgotten" but this was remedied in a quick manner. My favourite restaurant in NZ so far. We've been here a few times and the last one we had the mezze feast to share amongst five of us, you get a good selection of their dishes and everything is so tasty and plentiful. The products are fresh, everything is perfectly spiced with home made spices. The atmosphere is great and the staff are friendly. Very good selection of drinks. A nice place to go out on a dinner date but also to bring visitors along.

My wife ordered the prawn salad and casa fish n chips, and being a seafood lover and tried many different places, she would definitely be coming back to Casablanca very soon.
