N.Easy place to get to, centrally located, cool booths at the back for a catch-up with friends. Conch provides a good variety of food and cocktails at affordable prices. Tonight we had the yucca chips with aioli (yucca = root of the cassava plant, similar texture to potatoes), beef taco, red kidney bean taco, Margherita pizza, and lava cake for dessert. Good quality and good to see the "lava" flowing from the cake. I have previously had the fish taco but was mildly disappointed because the fish was under-seasoned. However, it is quite good when combined with the dressing - just make sure your bite has a bit of everything.
S.Best place in Auckland for tacos - they are amazing! If you go at not too busy times it’s really fast to get your food. I like their black bean tacos the best and their sparking water with lime is also really good. The staff, especially the manager or the guy who runs the floor is excellent. He’s always really friendly but efficient too, knows how to manage a restaurant for sure. Two thumbs up!
C.Great bar and restaurant that serves South American fare. The wood oven roasted potatoes are a must-try and the food is decently priced for the inner city. The outside courtyard has a beautiful atmosphere surrounded by the wood fired oven scents.
A.Decent price with good quality food. Sadly the pizza stove was off today. Definitely comeback next time for the pizza. Btw the short rib taste amazing ☺️ highly recommend

T.Great menu. My partner had the blackened fish and absolutely raved about it. I had a beef taco and a pork belly arepas, both were delicious. Followed it up with the chocolate lava cake for dessert which was also beautifully presented and exquisite. Service was great: knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Made for a wonderful evening out.

B.A bit of a hidden gem this one. Great bar service, best in the local area in my opinion. For example beer are completely full, not nearly full as in many bars, very quick service and a generous happy hour. The bar goes a surprising distance out the back to give various seating options. Pizzas etc also available. A cool vibe.
V.Very nice ambience, friendly and helpful staff. The food was AMAZING. So. Much. Flavour. Get the sticky pork pineapple starter - good way to prepare your taste buds for the rest of the meal.
Try not to get carried away and order too much though. The food gets delivered to your table pretty quick so you can order more later on if you need to. Quantities are meant for sharing.

S.Awesome spot on Ponsonby Road serving South American food. We were a group of ladies dining early and were made to feel very welcome. We took advantage of their happy hour and tried lots of the menu too. Stand out are the Arepas (great taco alternative for gluten free people 😁).

P.Dropped in for a quick drink, stayed for delicious food and excellent service. The selection of tacos was amazing, frankly the best I've had in Auckland, and I'm assured by a regular they're not the best thing on the menu! Great ambiance, perfect hidden seating area out back, lovely smell of wood-fired oven roasting, good wine selection. If you're older like me (60+) don't be put off by the young and trendy Ber staff or the tattoos, they were a delight and gave great service even to the oldies. I'm going back!

K.Amazing service, fantastic food & great atmosphere! Had a lunch here with my girlfriend, we were in a bit of a hurry. The waiter was super helpful, served us very fast when we asked him about how long the meal take,s he ensured the kitchen speeds it up too. Had a relaxed lunch (even tho we had not much time) and I was pleasantly taken back by the food quality, we will be back
T.The atmosphere is cool and cozy. Certain areas of the bar the music is a bit intrusive for a Wednesday evening drink (but would work well for weekend vibes). I appreciated the timely service from the wandering servers.

A.This place has lovely staff and a really hip decor, but for a place that is supposed to be hip as far as music goes it was disappointing. There was no attention to the finer details and the drinks and food are very average. I went on a FRiday night to check out the party ambience and it was just a bit flat, also a few times for the food, but it is just average fare. I like the fact they have a lot of Organic Wines, but apart from that, just rather flat.
P.Cozy bar in ponsonby with a spacious outdoor area. Was both lively and sexy with reasonable prices for more unique beers and cider on tap. The serving team was friendly without being over the top or annoying. Cant wait to return!
S.Great service, good food, good coffee and fabulous little huts to sit in. The layout of this place is great for a catch up. With individual huts for each table you really get a sense of privacy, but in the middle of a cafe that has a great buzz. The food is tasty and well presented and the coffee was good. Prices were about standard for Ponsonby Road. I will be back!
S.Only had a quiet drink here with friends and it was cosy and we could comfortably engage in conversation and it had a good vibe. Menu looked appetising and inexpensive. Not sure what was up with the lights though, they would change from dim to bright frequently.
P.Nice bar and food. The atmosphere is great and the food fresh. Portions may seem a bit small but you can order several rounds if needed. Definitely recommend to try some good fresh food in a nice place.
N.Enjoyable bar with relaxed atmosphere and great service. Plus on Friday you can go a few doors along to pop up Club Red, at Fried and get wonderful bespoke sandwiches.
T.Two visits in just one week means its highly rated in my books. The general feel and vibe is relaxed and inviting. Recommend the cassava chips and basically anything on the menu!
G.Conch is always good. They have a good selection of beers. This time they kept the kitchen open for us. Food is great with a sotuh American/Mexican flare. Wood oven smells great too.

L.Cool and quirky out the back. Popped in for happy hour drinks and decided to order food. We had a long wait, over 45 mins and still food all came out at different times. It didn’t even seem that busy.

J.The from room seriously needs to be professionally acoustically treated. Once the room fills up with people it becomes unbearably loud to the point I ended up shouting all evening. Not an enjoyable experience. Everything else about the bar is quite pleasant - just let down by noise.

S.Conch has such a relaxed vibe, quite a nice contrast to most bars in Ponsonby. The booths out in the courtyard are cosy, the pizza is tasty and they have Hallertau on tap. Staff are always friendly and easy going.
