One of the Best Indian restaurants we’ve been so far(and we have been in more than 10 Indian restaurants in Akl), great food and the service is really good as well. Quality/Price matches very well and that is what makes this restaurant a great place for dinner or lunch. We love it. Aah an important point to highlight is that the food here tastes like: it was prepared the day before, and this is a key thing for Indian food (curries)specifically Chicken Tika masala or curries with Lamb 🐑.

We have moved to Parnell and we are closeby to all restos. Have eaten here 4 times in a month. I’ve always been craving for Everest chicken and Ledobedo. I also appreciate their Lunch menu which is a good portion for $15 and includes 2 Naan already! All staff are all nice and friendly. Looking forward to try their Momo’s.

VERY reasonably priced. Owner is also friendly and honest. I ordered a takeaway lunch special and when I arrived to pick up and pay, the owner charged me with a lower price. I quickly asked why the bill was cheaper and he explained the certain item I ordered is cheaper for takeaways. So rather than using the opportunity to charging me more he opt to tell me why it's cheaper. Not the mention the portion is reasonable and the taste is really nice! Will definitely visit this place more often from now on

Hands down the BEST Indian restaurant in Auckland. From samosa and naan to curries. Portions are great, quality is 10/10 and consistent. I've tried many Indian restaurants and there are only 3 that are authentic and of high quality, out of those 3 Everest is the best by far.

The food here is awesome! We tried the cottage cheese in a tomato based sauce and it was amazing! It was my first time seeing the papadum being served in small pieces instead of one big, also they could have given us one big naan bread instead of several small pieces. The staff is very friendly and served us well. I loved how they use salt lamps for every table and played local music in the background.

Location wise quite conveniently placed in Parnell. Ambience I would say ok. Tried to stick to the Nepalese food. Ordered Himalayan Veg Soup and Aloo Lakali in starters. Both the starters were awesome to say the least. They do provide complimentary papadums. In mains I ordered from Nepalese Main section viz. Chicken Bhuteko Ledobedo and Everest Mis Maas tarkari (vegetarian) and stuffed Kulcha in breads. Taste wise found nothing unique to being Nepalese as even Indian gravys taste similar but they were tasty especially the Chicken. Price wise I would say quite expensive but still would be visiting again as lot more is yet to be explored from the menu.

First time here on Friday night..... cozy little place, great food, great range and friendly service. Happily go back again.

Came for a birthday dinner since it was recommended by a friend. It wasn't too hard to find, upstairs down an alley where Casa Del Gelato is. We went on a Monday evening and it wasn't busy. I wasn't too sure what Nepalese food was apart from momos, the dumplings. To start we had one set of chicken and lamb momo as well as the lamb choila. It was all really nice. The flavours and spiciness was really enjoyable. I liked the lamb momos best of the lot. The presentations of the entrees was quite impressive. For mains we ordered three curries and naan for four people. We had the goat curry, the Everest fish curry and the Thakali chicken. They were ok and out of the three I found that the chicken was the nicest. I wasn't fond of the fish once since it was a bit too sour. The waitress we had was really attentive and did make the night quite pleasant. Nice food and service so a place worth trying.

This place is really place to visit. Nepalese food is so good. I highly recommend mo:mos and thali set.You can add anything untill you are full except for meat in Thali set. Place is really cosy and good for families, friends, couples, kids, elders,etc. No car park but not a issue as there are some off street parkings at just 2-3 min walk. Costumer service is also good.

Finest Indina and Nepalese cousin. The food is delicious but has very small quantity. Only one person can eat and no sharing allowed. No free Parking so you have find a parking on a busy Parnell street.

I recently visited Everest Dine restaurant as I had heard about this place from many of my friends that you get good Nepalese Momo's / Dumpling. So I tried one vegetarian and chicken Momos to my suprise i liked the vegetarian momos more than chicken one's. Loved their chutneys was super spicy 😍😍. Will definitely visit again.

Amazing food and great friendly service! The Nepalese Chicken Dumping in soup (Jhol mo:mo) is outstanding along with the Chicken Chowmein and Lamb Sekuwa. Can't wait to go back with my family and friends to try more from their menu. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! :)

Combination of culture always results in something spectacular. The combination of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay climbed the Mount Everest together which brewed the strong relationship that New Zealand and Nepal has today. Such is the Nepalese cuisine. The amalgamation of culinary influences from India and China mixed with the authenticity of Nepal's own creativity has given rise to a unique flavor which gives us best of both worlds plus something new. The prime example of this is Momo. Its dumpling filled with meat mixed with vegetables and spices served with mouth watering Nepalese Tomato Achar (Sauce) and a spicy sauce. You can't go wrong with this. I won't go further to describe the taste as I want you to have your own experience with the heavenly Momos. I hope you'll have the same experience that had made me a fanatic of Nepalese food when you have the first bite of the dumpling dipped in the amazing sauce. And that is just the tip of the Everest 😁. Everest Dine provides an authentic Nepalese vibe. As soon as you enter, you can see the arts, crafts, photographs and cultural music instruments hanging on the walls. This is amplified by the folk Nepalese tunes playing in the background. There is video of of all things Nepal that is playing on the TV. This sets the right mood to enjoy the authentic ethnic food that they serve. The food is top notch and the presentation is impeccable. The staff are friendly and explain the food items if you have any query. So if you want to experience something different then do visit this place. TL;DR: Everest Dine does great justice in serving the food from the Himalayas to the people of this land of the long white cloud. Note: I wasn't able to take the dumpling pic as I was busy munching it so I have included one from my stock.

First time having Nepalese food and it was a fantastic experience. Great customer service to cater to our million and one questions about menu items and what was good and interesting. We ended up trying the marinated Momo (Nepalese dumplings pictured) and 3 different curries, plus some Lassi and Nepalese chai tea. 5 stars!

I visited that place tonight and was very pleased not only with the kindness of the staff and nice atmosphere but also with the delicious food! The waiter answered all of my questions (because it was my first visit and I was not familiar with this kind of cuisine), he also recommended me what would satisfy my taste buds :-) I enjoyed the time and will definitely come back! Cozy atmosphere and amazing food! Visited this small restaurant on Parnell rd for fathers day and definitely going back :) The staff are very friendly and welcoming, felt like i was visiting a restaurant in Nepal itself. We tried the momos, chowmin and some of the nepalese curries. The food was not heavy and rich in spice and taste! Have not tried something this authentic in a while. Definitely recommend!

Everest Dine is my favorite Indian restaurant. Have been their customer for many years. I love their new location. Less hidden. Same good food and service. My favorite chicken madras is still as good as it has ever been.

I have only done takeaway a few times, but keen to dine in. Our order has always been on time, warm and full of beautiful flavours. Never once have we been disappointed. The staff is lovely as well. Highly recommended. :)

I hadn't had authentic Nepalese food in the last three years until I found this gem. It was the perfect introduction of traditional food for my non- Nepalese friends. Everything was perfect and I honestly couldn't have been happier. The food was so good it made me emotional and the service was mind blowing. Sachin dai was amazing and I'll definitely be visiting again. 10/10 for everything.

Lovely atmosphere! The food is absolutely divine! Really great flavours! My husband and I had the traditional thali and it exceeded our expectations was so nice to try a little bit of everything and were happy and full leaving! Absolutely incredible food and service. Can’t recommend this place enough! The curries are extremely tasty, the naan bread is the best I’ve ever tasted and the selection of dumplings (momo) are such an amazing blend of Asian-Indian flavours and have a variety of options! Our favourite flavour is the chilli which has a delicious tomato/chilli sauce, but the original steamed and fried ones are also amazing. The johl dumplings are have a traditional soup that is made with fried ground sesame seeds and tomato paste, it’s so different and it’s great to try traditional Nepalese flavours. Staff are so friendly and helpful, we have been 3 times now and will be back again for sure!

The minute you enter the door of Everest Dine, you are welcomed by Nepalese warm hospitality and aroma of delicious food. The place is authentic and cozy, the staff is amazing, and the food is just heavenly. If you want to experience traditional Nepalese food at its best, this is your place. This place is nice. I usually get veg chowmein from here. Recently I tried sadeko momos they are also really great. Also, try fish starters of this place too that is also tasty. Nice place. 😇

I visited this place with a few friends and I must say, it was the best decision ever. I went out with my dear Nepalese friends and trust me I thank them till date as the food is an absolute treat and the staff is absolutely top notch. Special thank you to Sachin dai (Big bro) for taking care of us and suggesting what all dishes should we try. We left a cup back gifted to us by our friends and they were sweet enough to take care of it and when we went back to get it, we got a bit of Momo chtuney treat. Thank you for being amazing guys, would love to come and dine in again.

This restaurant has great food which is bursting with flavour. Sachin is amazing and always provides great customer service and makes sure to go above and beyond in every way. We have visited the restaurant many times in the past few weeks since we discovered it. Definitely a must visit and we would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try a different cuisine!

It may look like your average neighbourhood restaurant, but Everest Dine is anything but! I wandered in a few weeks ago on a Friday night and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of Nepalese Indian food. In my two visits to this fantastic restaurant, I have had Everest Chicken Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala, both with a garlic naan. I am unable to pick my favourite as both were equally delicious. By the end of both meals, I was already planning my next visit and what I would order. As I submit this review, I am getting ready to head over there again now for another meal. Tonight I am trying Chicken Manchurian Gravy, with a garlic naan as well of course. Update. Just tasted Chicken Manchurian Gravy I ordered when I got home and I literally had to stop and update my review immediately. It is simply sublime. One of the most delicious meals I have ever tasted in my 48 years on this planet. I enjoyed a Mango Lassi while I was there and that was so smooth and delicious. If it was possible to rate any higher than 5 starts, I would.

The food was absolutely WOW! Delicious, tender, aromatic, spicy and delivered piping hot! I am super impressed with this aspect and it well exceeded my expectations! What I found to be slightly unfortunate however is the ungenerous quantity of food provided. Proportionately the quantity was sufficient enough to satisfy one's hunger, however the exorbitant price tag on the meals did not add up to the portion sizes received, and we found it to be super expensive considering. Had we ordered the same thing from a similar restaurant, the total would have easily been $20 less for a family of 5 (including 3 children under 10). Nevertheless, as a restaurant choice for a special date night or a light business dinner, you can't go wrong as the flavours are absolutely mouthwatering!

Good welcoming atmosphere, great food and amazing service. Came here for a birthday dinner with a group of friends and they were really friendly. They even gave us complimentary ice cream cakes for the birthday girl. You'll definitely have a good time here.

Absolute quality at this little hidden gem on Parnell Rise. Beautiful outdoor dining setting and atmosphere. The food took me right back to April 2018 when I was in Nepal. Authentic as it comes.

We had a very pleasant evening at Everest Dining. The service was excellent, the wait staff were very attentive and always came to us with a humble smile. The food was very delicious, they were flavoursome and reasonably priced. One of those hidden gems in Parnell if you want a fancy but affordable dining experience.

Wow!! I had the Malai Kofta. I tried this dish for the first time in India and loved it! Tried it about 6 times in different countries and even in India again after the first time and never got it as good as the first try. This one... wow. So good! Spicyness perfect, cheese naan absolutely amazing..so fresh!!! All great! Made me sooo happy!!! Go here! Super nice waiter as well!! Great atmosphere too, sat outside with heater and nice music. Attended a 21st birthday here last week. Had never been, but had been told good things so went along with a sense of anticipation. What I experienced was a Nepalese revelation. Amazing tasting food and great value. There were 25 people at the one table, but the service never faulted. The staff were very professional. Will definitely be coming back here on a regular basis.

I went to Everest dine coz I missed my hometown. The food was great Tbh! But at the end of the day I was slightly disappointed. Coz the way the “so called manager” acted really mean coz he thought I was sneaking around the kitchen. But i was not sneaking, I was just about to thank the chef and the owner. I can understand it’s the part of his job but I just didn’t liked the way he talked to me. Anyway thanks for the food it was really amazing. No hard feelings!

The ‘new’ Everest Dine is even better than the original. Now located in a ground floor restaurant 100m down the road from the old location, Everest Dine has stepped up their food and service another notch (if that were possible). There’s a number of momo options now and the ones we chose (chili) were totally delicious. We also ordered our old favourite the lamb sekuwa and were again blown away by the spices meat cooked just perfectly. Main courses were Everest Chicken Curry and Chicken Tikka. Both were excellent. There’s a good inexpensive wine list and Sachin and his team provided exemplary service. Awesome job Everest Dine, great new restaurant with really good vibes. See you again soon.

Beyond expectation! Walk upstairs to a nice, cozy and well presented venue. I always feel a little let down when I go out for Indian food as often it’s not real Indian food, if you know what I mean. I got the lamb vindaloo extra spicy. I could taste the puréed tomatoes and spices. It was so smooth and delicious! The heat doesn’t linger and burn. It’s just a perfect kind of spicy that tingles your tongue. I couldn’t believe it. It wasn’t heavy or oily. I even found myself spooning the last of the sauce into my mouth. Don’t forget to grab a ginger beer to refresh your tongue and breath before you leave. We will definitely be back with more guests. Whoops, forgot to mention- the friendly service with a smile comes free with the experience too!

Amazing place and atmosphere. Easy to find. But difficult to find parking tho. Never the less. Their food is amazing and customer service was spectacular. Specially Jeetan, He's a super friendly and a very responsive person, Always spot on, Food not too expensive and tastes great. They always check up on you If you require anything. They got a awesome squad which always keep me coming back. Their Best Trio (Sachin+Jeetan+Pawan). Our first visit to Everest! I decided to drop by one of the evenings at their restaurant with my husband. To start with - no one to greet us at the door, however after looking around for a table, one of their staff members helped us to seat ourselves. We placed our order for some entrees to one of their senior staff, and to our astonishment, he gave us a look asking 'is that all for tonight??' The grin on his face was just so discouraging that we decided not to have mains. And then the staff asked us to seat in another section if we were to have only the entree. We could have easily moved if someone would have told us as we entered the restaurant and not when we were comfortably seated. We just left off unhappy and not satisfied with their service. I strongly recommend them to be more welcoming towards their customers and put appropriate signage at the door for their seating sections. Or have someone at the door to direct customers as they want. We do appreciate the culinary expertise of their chefs as we enjoyed the food we ordered.

Loved the food, Fish curry could have been better but can overlook as all the other dishes were really good.

I am a regular visitor here and my favourite is Himalayan Chicken Soup with Chicken Sekuwa. Needless to say that the service is amazing and staff is very friendly. If you like spices and want to experiment something very different, this is the place!

My favourite indo Chinese restaurant from last 4 years, go find out for sachin he looks everyone well, if u guys are from Delhi, say them to make their Himalayan soup as Delhi style it is like our hot and sour back home, don’t forget to ask them for chilly chutney feels like momos back in Delhi.

Excellent Food and service, great balance of flavour and a perfect choice for all. A great starter, curries and garlic naan, just the right amount of garlic without being overpowering. Great atmosphere and very friendly hosts - I'll definitely be going there again.

Nice food...owner needs to change the carpet if possible because otherside of restaurant smells so rotten due to carpet. I am regular to this place like the food but when you have this sort of awkward smell then it's not pleasant.

We have ordered Paneer tikka & Manchurian starter Malai Kofta , Palak Pneer & Paneer butter masala etc. Which was delicious. As this is Nepali Restaurant owned by Nepali, Nepalese cuisine is popular here like momo and other items. Though, little expensive than other neplease restaurants good quality food, good service, always clean 'n' tidy and pleasant atmosphere, these are the important things of this place.

Friendly staff members and yummy food. Prices are reasonable. The curries were flavourful and light - much lighter than the indian counterpart. Their hot is really hot, not westernised hot. Their decor is simple but pleasing. Looking at the photos, it's hard to figure out which food is nepalese and which are indian - they're all look similar to me.

Went to the Everest dine on Friday night with friends. we tried both Nepalese and Indian Food. On starter we picked MoMo, Veg Manchurian, Fish tikka and Lamb Sekuwa. The food were so good, we found exactly the same taste what we used to eat in Nepal. Simply mind blowing food. Then going to the mains, we tried Thakali Chicken, Jhinge macha curry, Daal jhaneko and lamb Vindaloo. The curries were perfectly blended with spice and can felt the freshness on the food. Worth visiting and very reasonable dining. will be visiting soon.

Beautiful food, waiters offered great suggestions. Only downside is that we found that the waiters were either overly attentive or nowhere to be found... But that's just our personal preference.

Always good food and a well marked menu where you can find something for everyone even if you bring your dairy free friend, your gluten intolerant friend, your vegetarian friend, your friend who don't want too spicy and your meat eating friend in the same group.
