I would give 3.5 stars if I could. Food was a 3 star but service was a 5 star !! I thought the fish burger lacked flavour and the kumara chips were average. It’s definitely a good choice if someone is looking for healthy alternatives... otherwise the food tasted like home cooking.

If you are a foodie you will already know this place or be a regular one you go. They make what may be the best cheese burger and prawn tacos in the city. For a more health conscious meal all of the salads I’ve tried are great. Nice to see great food done at affordable prices.

Quirky little location that reminds me of Box Park or the likes in Hackney & Shoreditch London UK. Girlfriend is a Vegetarian and my sister a healthy eater but yet my son and I want meat so Food Truck Garage provided the perfect balance! Great spicy chicken burger and wraps are huge and filling. Even the Pink Grapefruit soda was delish! Would definitely recommend.

Tried Burrito bowl which was decent in taste but proportion to price may not match to good appetite person. Place is nice to be. Near to work. Does take time to get the order on the table may be busy lunch hours impact this.

Good service. Ordered cola, wasn't great - flat but I think it was meant to be that way. Burger was good although the sauce was strange and there was probably too much of it. My partner had the salad and was not a fan. They did not have fries available at the time we went in. To be fair, we were probably the first or second customer there on a Saturday.

Good selection of food and drinks. A bit out of the way. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Reasonable prices, and good quality and portion sizes. Several good vegetarian options, and they were happy to reduce the spice of the chicken burger for a non-spice loving person. Great place for a quick sit down lunch or dinner.

Really nice place. We set down for an early dinner Friday evening. They had nice music playing, which is never a bad thing. Heard a lot about their burgers, but never had a chance to try it. Finally did. Definitely worth a try. It’s nothing special, but a very good simple burger. Fries were very descent as well. My wife enjoyed the salad with half avocado very much. Worth a stop by if you get a chance.

Burger was yummy, with a crispy on the outside, soft on the inside bun. Fries were average, staff was friendly and coffee was also very good.

A great spot in the sun to have a few after work cocktails or a vino. On the day we were there (a Thursday) the food service didn't start until 6.30pm so there was a bit of drinks-on-an-empty tummy lull but we told the staff we really wanted food and they came and took our order before 6.30pm. Food was great. The burnt brocolli was delicious! Relaxed atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff.

Really friendly staff over here whose cheerfulness never fail to put a smile on one's face. On top of that, the food and milkshakes were amazing. The food portion will be enough even for you hungry ones. Food tasted really good, especially the Spicy Chicken Wrap which I tried (has a spicy kick; be warned!). It’s close to the office so I’ve been here for team lunches a few times. We like the food here, especially since they have options for gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian eaters. But they’re pretty slow on the average weekday; it’s tough to order and eat in under an hour! So taking one star off for that resson.

For those who love fast food, but also want healthier options! It's great if you work close by, it gets quite busy during lunch! I ordered the noodle bowl with avocado, and found that the portion sizes were small, and a bit pricey for what you get. The cocktails are pretty tasty though, especially on a Friday night.

The food in this place was good. We arrived in Auckland at that time of day when cafe's etc was closing or closed. Then it was a few hours before restaurants open their doors. This place was open, took a walk to get there as we was on our feet for awhile. Totally worth it, good portions and drinks.

Had the potential to be a good brunch out but was rather disappointed with my food which sorta took the edge of things as the food is one of the most important aspects of brunch!. I pass by this place everyday until I finally tried their Chipotle Prawn Soft Taco and loved it! Yesterday, I had late lunch there and wanted to try something else. Their wait staff was kind enough to describe their Beefroot Burger for me as I was curious but hesitant to get it. Good thing I listened to him because each bite was an explosion of flavor! The veges were crisp and the bun wasn't flaky. I had them add swiss cheese and bacon as well, and that made it better. Definitely coming back to try another thing off the menu...that is if I could help myself from ordering the same burger. 🖤

Mediocre, and probably overpriced. Visited for lunch, chose to have the "signature" dish, Redergize Bowl. I love each of the ingredients individually, yet am somehow complete unsatisfied by how Food Truck Garage served them. The salad is priced higher than their classic burger, so I was expecting a satiating meal. Instead I experienced a tonally bland, monotonous mass of barely prepared ingredients, and am still starving for a well-rounded meal. For 4.50 (27% more) you can add [off-season] avocado, or 2 fillets of chicken. I doubt they can redeem the then-$21 plate. Supremely underwhelmed with the food, left with a guilt of spending so much for so little, and am at least grateful that the service, cleanliness and decor doesn't follow the same trend.

Big shout out to the crew at Food Truck Garage. Thank you for looking after our coeliac son so well. As the parent of a coeliac it is sometimes hard when it comes to dining out as you can not always give your children what they want and the experience can be disappointing for them. The crew here were kind and considerate enough to redesign our sons meal so that he could enjoy it to the full and it made him feel a million dollars. Coffee was on point, Flatbread of the Day (Pepperoni & Mushroom) was epic & the free Froyo for kids who eat their veggies is awesome. Great price point, awesome atmosphere & the music was choice. Thanks team, we’ve found our new family dining destination.

Delicious healthy food. I had the spicy chicken wrap and a homemade lemonade, with a yoghurt caramel Sunday! Would definitely go back and would recommend for someone who just wants a Heather option when grabbing a bite to eat. I would say that having to pay for parking is the only down side!

The Fish & Chips have a disappointing small serve of Fish for 24$, only two small and skinny filets, don’t get me wrong it was nicely cooked I just expected more Fish. All together I’d say they are good but a bit too expensive.
