Amazing food..... I have been wanting to eat Indian style momos, Galouti Baba has these delicious chicken and paneer momos. I am definitely going again for another plate. Loved it. And I must also mention my favourite dish Galouti kebab which always bring happiness.

As soon as the boxes were opened authentic aromas of Kebab stores in India hit us hard. Purchased from this store for the first as a surprise for a friend and it didn’t fail to impress. The chicken bites (which is chopped up tandoori chicken btw) was a bit dry. Jumping quickly to The hero product; the Galouti Kebab has intense flavour that just melts in your mouth. My friend made so much yum yum noises while eating every bite. Extra surprise was the soft soft roti that it comes along with, so good! Would highly recommend to try this store. The owner/chef Yogi is a charming man and is clearly very proud of the food he serves. I also appreciated his kindness when he came all the way out of the building to guide me to his store inside the foodcourt. Thanks to google maps it takes you up Wakefield street whereas the actual store (a food court) is inside a building NEXT to Nandos Solid portions. Great packaging in strong boxes. Excellent customer service. Gourmet food at affordable prices 🤯

If you've heard the story about the king and the inception of the Galouti kebabs, you'd know it's something that comes from the palate of the Lucknow Royals out of hard times and the yearn for tasty food. Yogi does more than explain that beautifully to your taste buds with his kebabs. Good conversations and amazing kebabs, neither of which you'll find in other places. Should definitely try.

This is a new place that’s opened up and every time I have been there, I have loved their food. The kebabs are to die for and the Nihari lamb is one of the best around. Great place for enjoying Indian cuisine on Queen street. Priced beautifully @ 10$

Superb Lamb Nahari (Nihari), The dish you should definitely try if you are the fan of Mughlai food. The owner Mr. Yogesh Pratap Singh (Yogi Baba) is a cool personality. A must try location in Auckland City.

This place was recommended by a colleague who took a couple of us along to try it out. Definitely enjoyed the food which was full of spices and flavour and price was very reasonable.

Superb galouti kebab- excellent flavour and extremely soft, took me back to India. The spices are perfectly balanced to suit Western taste as well. I had the kathi kebab as well which comes in a uniquely tasting paratha and is loaded with tandoori chicken. The owner, who is also the chef, is very warm and welcoming. Do give it a go and I am sure you will not regret it!

Honestly this is the most amazing food in the central city! i was working in town for 2 days and had lunch here both days and will definitely go again. Intense flavor, beautiful spices, perfectly cooked meat. Could not recommend this place more highly. It is incredible.

Mr. Yogesh Pratap Singh (owner/food curator @ Galouti Baba) and his galouti kebabs are RARE in the "wanna please the westernised palate Indian scene" to those who think they are dishing out "Genuine Indian Cuisine" . I stumbled upon his website, read the fab reviews and ordered a pick up. Navigated the notorious Queen St traffic and drove it all the way down to Karaka and boy was the wait rewarding! Dare may I say, one of the best Galouti/Galwati Kebabs my taste buds have ever touched upon (and I have gorged on Tunde's in the city of Lucknow, for those in the know of it). And the artisan black sesame infused bread that came with it... that ain't roti mate. It's YIN to YANG. Yet to break bread with the goat mince, bet it will take me to the next level. What a find... hold onto your spot Galouti Baba! You have customers for life... Vash & Leena

Amazing new place on Queen street. Only place serving melt-in-mouth Galouti kebabs in Auckland and probably New Zealand. Pricing is affordable too. Have to try out all the other items on the menu as well.

Had galouti kebab and chicken kathi roll, it was amazingggg. Last time we had something similar was from rajinder ka dhaba safdarjung delhi and jama masjid. Because of the taste we ended up buying 2 more plates.
