One of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Auckland. Reasonable price and tasty food. While most of the dishes are very delicious, I wouldn’t recommend their karaage fried chicken. It was just not Japanese style at all.

Average is a good word to describe our meal. All three curry dishes (2 fish and 1 chicken) that we ordered were too salty, the meat and pickled vegetables were satisfactory. Not exactly authentic Japanese, as you can also see from the other reviews... Forgot to take a photo before eating...

Our favourite Japanese restaurant in Auckland! The quality and taste is guaranteed. Prime beef is so succulent and the fried rice is full of flavour! The soft shell crab is to die for. Wonderful dining experience every time.

Nice atmosphere, great staff. We changed an order some minutes after ordering and they were happy to change it for us. Different menu for lunch and dinner(for example katsu curry not available at night) but still plenty of options to choose from. Fast service and good food.

Came here for dinner and was surprised that food is average and above average. Fried rice had plenty of prawns, salmon sashimi was fresh, croquette was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft inside, miso soup was average, prawn tempura was perfect, and the crab salad had slightly too much mayo. Was just a little annoyed they won’t make me a California roll even though they have all the ingredients available there. But otherwise, it was an enjoyable experience.

the overall experience is fine, except the sashimi boat. all of us are waiting for the boat coming, and we confirmed with staff that the sashimi should come in a boat when we see the plate. that's abit sad. but still, all food here is amazing. sashimi are fresh, salmon miso pot is tasty, and bento r not bad, katsu curry rice is good. portion is slightly bigger than usual japanese restaurant.
