Best burgers in Auckland! Seriously, they are amazing 🥰 love this place!! The meat was cooked perfectly, the taste was incredible, and the sauce was spot on. What else could you want?! Thank you for your inclusion, keep up the awesome work! 👏👏

Burger Fuel is good, but Jax Burgers is even better. I've finally convinced my boyfriend to try their burgers, and he's converted now. They really have mastered making great burgers. The burger sauce is full of flavour loaded with quality meat and vegetables. Other burgers are just a slab of OK meat, some randomly available veggie inside and a tiny bit of sauce. The chips and wedges are also great. They know how to make them with just the perfect amount of crispiness.

So glad I discovered my new fav workplace burger eatery. Visited Jax last week, recommended by some colleagues. The lunch time rush was a good sign for starters :). Opted for their famed cheeseburger and so glad they didn't disappoint. I'm not a big beef fan and whenever I do, it's always in a burger. Their corn dusted buns were a nice and soft, aoili was surely a big hit with me coz it added extra flavor to an already well seasoned patty. It was well done and yet moist & well seasoned, something I usually prefer in red meat. Loved the blanket of cheese as well...plus their fresh salad really amps up the texture. Given my average appetite, the burger was more than filling. And for a burger to retain it's form despite being a takeaway and consumed a good 30 mins after it was prepared, can only imagine how much more awesome it'd be when consumed riteaway. Two thumbs up and can easily count Jax among my top 5 fav burger places. The person at the counter was really friendly. Surely going back for more. Cheers. Edit 1: I was back in office today after forever it seemed and I had to celebrate with a Jax 😁. Opted for the chicken burger - panko crumbs make everything better. So glad Jax offers a proper patty instead of some others who serve tenders inside a bun (???). The panko crumb fried patty is crispy on the outside and juicy inside...and it stayed crisp all through and there's 2 of those in the burger. Just the right amount of sauce (aioli + bbq) to keep it moist; perfect amount of salad to add to the texture and doesn't disassemble. Everything about the burger was spot on. I wish Jax starts offering a spicy chicken option as well 🤞🏼. I'd also ordered the salted caramel shake - it's legit salted caramel and thick. On the sweeter side - just a heads-up. Both my orders so far have been a 10 on 10. Cheers guys

Fantastic service. They definitely got the right staff to do that. My partner and I ordered Hawaiian and Cross breed. BOTH made with exceptional love and patience. Milkshakes is such guilty pleasure. Tbh it was our first time trying this takeout and we give it an absolute 10000/10. Keep serving food and drinks with love and you sure will go far in business and success altogether. For the Burger connoisers out there, this place is worthy of a visit. They even have a Keto burger on their menu. I thoroughly recommend the panko crumbed chicken burgers My fav is Hawaiian chicken. Officially now the best burgers in Auckland according to me! Fries were perfect too. I'm usually picky, but got nothing to complain about with this joint. The burger is big, so you don't really need the fries - you'll feel very full after if ya do. Maybe share fries with a mate instead.

The food is about as far from McDs as you can get. Not just slapped together with a sprinkling of wilted lettuce and plastic cheese by someone who doesn't want to be there. It's carefully assembled with plenty of quality ingredients in a clean kitchen by great staff (And there's yummy milkshakes and deserts to tempt the fussiest eaters)

Their chips and aioli alone are worth going here for. Love their chicken and cheese burger and the nice (potato?) buns with cheese tops they do on their burgers, but I feel their beef patties could do with some work... taste more like rissoles than straight beef? Would be nice to be able to order shakes on Ubereats as well, I use that more often and love a good shake with my burger!

Definitely the best burger I've had in NZ! The patty is juice, the cheese melted and burger just stay in one piece even though is really big. Great value for the money. I will definitely come back many times. The fries were crispy and well seasoned, really delicious.

Jax Burger is a new burger shack that opened up not too long ago. I heard from a friend that they do Uber Eats which is awesome! Have been in a few times and the food is always made to perfection. We are never disappointed by the amount of filling in the burgers, and the sauces work amazingly in both the burgers we have eaten. I tried the Chicken Burger ($8.90) and for such a cheap price it was 100% worth it. Cheaper than some burgers sold at fast food chains but tastes 10x better. The homemade aioli also tastes amazing and the chips are super crispy! The reason for the 4 star is that some people I went with said that the chips were too heavily salted. The joint could be a little cleaner too. I did notice the front cashier person clear the rubbish bin but it does get overloaded with the amount of rubbish left after customers finish their meals. The floor is also very slippery for some reason, maybe changing the cleaning products or mopping it more frequently would do the trick. As you can tell I am a harsh critic but Jax Burger certainly does not disappoint with the flavour and taste of its meals. I recommend!

I had the Jax burger and it was so tasty. It’s almost like a takeaway burger but so much better quality. The salted caramel shake actually tasted like salted caramel which was a bonus. Downside was that the onion rings in cross breed burger were chewy. Almost like the onion skin was used. Overall, really tasty and good quality food. Totes rate it.

If you are looking for a classic kiwi burger, this is the place. Tasted great. Love the bun and the Aioli sauce was great. Hickory BBQ sauce was a bit too sweet for my taste. Overall, great burger. One of the best burger in the east.

The tastiest chicken and cheese burger, good fries and the yummiest waffle ever with chocolate sauce, hokey pokey and icecream. Two burgers, shared fries with aioli and a Waffle to share cost $44. We'll be going back.

I had been wanting to check this place out since I stumbled upon their original business online (smokeys) and boy it didn't disappoint. All of the staff were lovely and the business is very welcoming and easy to find. Their aioli is delicious, and let's not forget their milkshakes too. Also saw people in front of me ordered the milkshakes which look real good 😅 Note for online order ASAP looks to set pickup time 1 hour away, unless they already have lots of orders and its calculated 1 hour. Top quality service from the lady who served us, to the chef who cooked our food with so much love. The thing that got me and my wife was what we heard from the chef, to take responsibility for something he did. From what we heard, we overheard a couple asked for something to not be specifically inside their burger but mistakenly put it in. Whatever was discussed, we were more taken back to the chef taking full responsibility, it showed a true testament of the kind of culture they bring to this great establishment and it definitely was worth the drive out. I heard about this place from friends and thought I better go check out what this place is...so I did! My partner and I plus our doggie headed out the the burger shack, the wait was perfect not too long. Nothing short of amazing! Service is friendly, always faster than the time they give you and generous as. These burgers are hefty, you'll never leave hungry. The Chicken is my go to, Kiwi for the hubby...fries - awesome, wedges even better if you can fit them in which is a struggle for me haha. Aioli is the best I've had! Far superior to their competitors *cough* Burger Fuel *cough*. Just need them to branch out so there is one closer to us in Pukekohe 😋

I purchased a cheeseburger today hoping to try it for the first time. I decided to share it with my son as it was school pickup time. My mistake was letting him have the first bite. Within minutes it was all gone! I’m assuming it was good. Looks like I’ll have to go back earlier next time. I did manage to eat the sample chips I was given and they were nice and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Some of the best chips I have eaten this side of the ditch. I look fort to reviewing the burger more accurately on my next visit. Well worth the visit.

Manager did inform us that they will be changing the patties in the next 2 weeks to cater for non pork eaters or those just wanting a beef patty. It is abit pricey $50 for two meals. Bought jacks burger and Hawaiian chicken combo. Massive burgers, love the chips and the wedges, the burger buns were very nice taste and didn't break apart, the angus beef pattie was juicy and the crumbed chicken pattie was crunchy on the outside and moist one the inside, lots of fresh salad too..hehe, highly recommend worth the spend :)

The choice of a combination pork and beef patty is an interesting one. It is ok but the burgers would definitely be improved with a good quality but fatty all beef patty. Nothing gives that important savoury note like 100% beef. It's not a deal breaker though and this place delivers huge, greasy, tasty burgers with tonnes of cheese, bacon and sauces that make for great flavour. Bring a towel ’cause you're gonna need a shower after these dirty, messy bad boys. 😉 The fries/chips are really good too. You'd think that fries are hard to stuff up but it's amazing how many places actually do.

One night I was sitting in the car infront of Jax Burger Shack, finding myself falling more and more in love with their absolutely delicious, translucent crunchy fries (best fries any fast food chain has created) anyways this is not why I'm writing this non burger related review. It was past 9pm and Jax Burgers were closing up, kitchen starts to clean down, till starts to get counted, then a lovely couple walk in asking if they were closed and "Ma Bro" (sorry I didn't quite catch his name but I find that the guys at Jax always refer to their customer as "Ma Bro", love that! Anyways again, Ma Bro says they're closed and I see the couple walk back to their car and just wait. I don't think much of it. As I'm chatting with my friends I see Ma Bro walk out with their order! Ma Bro could've easily rejected them but nope, he's an absolute legend and legends don't reject anyone! It was definitely one of the most heart warming moments in hospitality I've ever witnessed. Ma Bro, keep being amazing and Jax Burger God bless!

Tbh was expecting a lot from all the hype about this place... sadly expectations wasn’t met. Burgers good ain’t gone lie but somethings missing? Maybe the sauce? I don’t know but flavour ain’t all their. Wait for walk ins are about 40mins which I didn’t mind coz I was expecting it to be great but it wasn’t. Heaps of time for improvement tho hence why the 5 stars. Not here to put down the business so supporting by giving 5 stars with an honest review. Fries were on point. Amazing tasty burgers, well worth the drive and so affordable. The cheeseburger is $9.50 and wow combinations of pork and beef homemade pattie plus the sauces, can not go wrong. I have been following the owner since his 'smokeys takeaways' store which was originally based out in Rewa. Has definitely upgraded greatly since with a bigger fan base. Highly recommend JBS 🙌

Very friendly Chef who was quite accommodating when I asked for low carb sauce. They have a keto burger which is awesome 👌. Only downside is (and this is not their fault) Is the buns are meh. But again not your fault there's very little keto buns on the market. May i suggest doing a lettuce wrapped low carb burger? Also the vegan sauce was very nice thank you. :). Also premises are so clean & tidy, with very nice staff.
