First time ordering here, The Fettuccine Pollo e Fungi was delicious and the Marinara with no olives was spot on! On top of that, excellent service and the man on the door was a lovely gentleman. Will definitely order here again. Was a perfect addition to our first visit to Muriwai Beach. Thank you so much!

La Porchetta has always been my family favourite, we order the same thing every time (fettuccine cabonara) this evening I tried something different it was the Avocado and chicken fettucine, it wasn’t really for me. But the highlight would be the chicken cranberry pizza and focaccia cheese and garlic which goes well with the pasta sauce. The Caesar salad was $26 (the priciest of the food choice) yet it was quite underwhelming, a little too bland. Sizes ordered were entree for the cabonara, main for the chicken and avocado pasta, and large size pizzas. Lots of space for the family and cosy atmosphere, nice staff also.

The little one had kids pizza and I had the chicken bacon pasta and both were nice.. parking right outside and a guard on the front door checking vaccine passes.. fast service and good food at a reasonable price..

Delicious!!! Fettuccine Carbonara is to die for. The pizzas are delicious. The base is well cooked and still soft and soo much toppings!!! Only minus was the Spider drink...very little soft drink with 1 scoop of ice cream and no where near worth the price.

Yummy food. Great presentation They even offer you takeaway boxes for leftovers. All of this with excellent customer service, all service provided with a pleasant smile on each person’s face. You may get good food someplace else but the customer service with a genuine smile is hard to find these days. Kudos to the team at Henderson La Porchetta.

The food is ok, but not very exciting. The salt and pepper squid was rather pale, and the avocado pasta had very little avocado on it. The staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient though.

A busy restaurant lots of family's eats. Good place for a date. From pizza to steak everything I have tried from here has been nice. There is a bar in there if you fancy a drink. Also a small amount of out door seating. Great pasta

It was busy even for a Sunday night but the manager organised a table for us quickly. Ordering was easy enough and meals came in about 20 minutes. The pasta meals were fine and the pizza average on a stock store brought base. As we finished our meals they were half an hour from closing but staff instantly were focused on cleaning. Trying to get staff attention to order dessert took about 15 minutes. We ordered to share but after another 20 minutes it hadn't arrived. The dessert required little preperation, just cut from a pre-made cake slab. The lack of attention to still dining customers probably wouldn't entice me to return in a hurry

The food is okay, you can definitely tell a lot is pre-made and just mixed together. The tables are cramped together VERY close so it can be a bit squished when busy. Decent prices though. Friendly service

Great restaurant and staff but noticed that the prices are increasing bur amount of toppings on pizza are getting less and less and smaller e.g., used to have whole big prawns but have been replaced with tiny shriymps and ham pieces are much smaller, and most toppings are in the centre and almost nothing on the outer half of the base. Portion sizes of other meals have also resuced. Been going to this restaurant regularly in the last 10 years.

We tried them for the first time (dinner) on Valentine’s Day. As expected, they were packed. But they were honest about the wait time for food to be served so that helped our expectation. Though it waa towards the end of a very busy day, the manager and all his staff were still smiling and had not lost their cool. And despite the gazillion orders of food coming at them, our food came out still delicious, still with quality. My only criticism is, if they are a busy restaurant most often than not, which is good for them, then they should already know how to deal with somehow preparing food faster. Other than that, eating here is enjoyable and service is spot on.

Great food. Good steaks with wide choice of dressings. The desserts and frappes are delicious too. 4 stars however for the delay. On a crowded Friday or Saturday evening be prepared for a 30-40 minute wait from when you enter through the door to when you are served your food (if you're lucky). Their great food and service is both what's good and also ironically what makes them overpacked. The staff are very friendly and this chain of restaurants has one of the best customer service in NZ. There are other posh places in the city that have pathetic service where the staff are very condescending. But this place is vastly different from those places. Well done. 👏

Service here was great! Appreciated the fact that staff told me there was a large booking for the night i wanted and helped to arrange a time suitable so i wouldn't have to wait too long for my food. The pizzas here are definitely the best thing on the menu. When i say they are loaded with meat, they are! Also really delicious and very filling. Will always be back for pizza! Didnt have to wait too long for food and servers had great service skills.

A genuine Italian stallion of a restaurant experience. Authentic italiano cuisine served with optimally cooled and decanted beverages. But patrons beware... Arancini balls now have sauce... on the outside... 🤯

I really enjoy the food, the kids friendly environment and the generous portions. The only reason I would not give 5 stars is that in more than one occasion the quality of the food change with the chef on duty. Nothing that would make me return my plate, but got ups and downs.

Damn good salmon pizza and an awesome restaurant if you want a balance of taste and affordability. Massive range of dishes and decent choices for dessert. Only 4 stars though because I had to place the same order twice. A waiter promised to get me an apple crumble but he looked kind of distracted. Suspecting he hadn’t logged it, I asked another waiter to check it and sure enough, order wasn’t logged. People make mistakes every now and again so it’s forgive-able. But just be careful if you can’t keep promises you make to your customers. You may get one that’s not as forgiving as I am!

We dined as a large family group of 11. All the meals where great except the Penne Beef Ragout, which was terrible unfortunately. It had only 8 little pieces of what looked like cheap steak. It wasn't stewed as it was very chewy. The sauce was a basic tomato sauce, again not a stew type consistency. The meals where served haphazardly, with some of us finishing meals before others had received them. However, the servers where very friendly and accommodating and all the other meals where delicious, especially the salmon. Would go there again.

Pretty good quality food for the price (and even for the chain!). The portion sizes are great and price is cheaper than most restaurants. If you've had a bad experience at another La Porchetta (like my partner had with the new lynn store) your bad experience wont be repeated here. Friendly staff, haven't yet had a meal that wasn't great and the place is clean and tidy.

You can go and sit down for a meal and they don't just do pizza. I've just gone there for pizza to go there chicken, cranberry and camembert is the best and there other pizzas are pretty good too. Most of their large pizzas are $20 but they're worth it.

OK so I keep asking for the same pizza and the same old potato soup but the soup is Soooo smooth, no lumps with a thickness to texture that says more please but I can't fit it in. Ask for Jo be obnoxious she will still serve you with an unfailing smile Oh yeah they do serve steak and other things but I just love the pizza it's not wood fired.
