f.Always went to Henderson branch as it was closer to our house. Went to Parnell branch and the food and customer service is amazing as always .had porterhouse well done. Perfectly cooked .peppercorn sauce just amazing. Portion size is also great. Worth the money. Thank you Laporchetta. 😊

A.Great good as always. They adhered to covid protocols limiting seating capacity. Called and asked if booking was required and they advised it is better so a table is available when we arrive due to limited capacity.
A.If I could give more stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I totally would! Came here for a last minute birthday dinner outing was craving the steak, mushroom sauce chips and salad! They did not disappoint food was cooked to perfection absolutely delicious🤤🤤 even the mocktails were yummy. And customer service here was awesome waiters and staff super friendly and happy looks like they love their job. Highly recommend this place thank you for the yummy food and excellent customer service👌

V.Awesome service. They were so friendly. The food was great too and quite large portions. I really liked their milkshake and their tiramisu as well. Although, I did find a hair in the pizza. They were very professional and offered several options to make up for it. Still would go back for the great service and great tasting food.

C.Food was yummy. Good service and clean venue. T-bone steak was cooked good. The squid was excellent, only thing was it didn't come with a sauce or anything we had to ask for aioli and it cost extra. Kids meals were good value, a few options available and comes with drink and ice cream for $15.

R.Located in the heart of Parnell town centre easy to get to wether driving, busing or walking. I rung ahead and got a table. From the first time I went into the restaurant they followed level 2 restrictions carefully and were very pleasant. The food was yummy and quick to come out. I ordered the garlic and cheese pizza small, apple cider and Porter house steak medium rare with mashed potato, seasonal vegetables and vino bianco sauce. I highly recommend La Porchetta Parnell. Thank you La Porchetta one you have one happy customer happy to return soon.

The Lot pizza - comes with so many diff ingredients, anchovies, shrimps, ham, salami, bacon, pineapple, mushroom, capsicum and olives. But the base was so wet so I only ate the toppings.
Meatball pasta - very normal pasta, normal sauce normal meatball. Wont order this again.

금.Over good BUT not great. All food we had were okay, Except seafood chowder. They used frozen seafood it made food seafoody but not really nice. I recommend you to have pizza which was good.
紐.DIY pizza for the kids birthday program, the best ever birthday party for the kids. The pizza is yum compare with most of others. The amazing service also you can order one pizza with two different flavors. I don’t think rest of pizza store can do that. VH

P.Food and service are great. Parking is relatively easy on the street. Booth seating is fairly tight though, not enough leg room. Otherwise, everything is perfect.

Details: We had a team lunch here this week, needed something quick and easy. I booked online and they confirmed the next morning we were still a go.
Food was alright, nothing amazing and has def dropped a bit since I was last here. One meal too way to long to come out. For most part they did a good job as it only looked like there was one chef on.
Service a tad lacking but the guy did his best. My fav part was coming to pay. They seemed to have issues with their existing Eftpos setup so after a bit of fluffing about they finally got to the point of taking all our money, but it was a bit of fluff that could have not been thre had they setup their equipment prior to opening.
All round a good place for teams or families wanting simple italian on a good price point.
Q.We been there twice. 5 stars for customer services (waiting staffs are super helpful and friendly) and food portions are generous to fill up your empty stomachs.

J.Great Service. Had my daughter's 6th birthday dinner here tonight and it was top notch. Firstly the restaurant was so clean first thing you notice when u walk in. Toilets are also very. Food was well presented hot and tasty. The male waiter was super friendly and lovely to deal with so thanks to him for making our family dinner such a great experience.... Parking is off street and lucky for us we got one not far from the restaurant.

Also really nice to see how they're handling the red light settings, lots of air flow and fresh air, and plenty of spacing between tables so feels pretty low risk. The gnocchi pesto was the best it's ever been tonight
P.Nice looking dish. Really good quality and a big portion. We were a group of 8 and they could’t manage to bring us the food hot... if i’m generous, it was slightly warm. May be I’ll try it again hopping to get my food hot.

T.Lovely dinner out. Staff were very good and food arrived timely even tho it was very busy with several large groups. Even though we didn't have a booking they were able to fit us in. Food was very nice and is affordable Italian. I would advise tho that when busy the restaurant can get very noisy. Something to consider if you are hard of hearing.

K.It's a family restaurant that serves affordable Italian food. The service was on point, very friendly, polite, and easy-going. Service from the staff is always all smiles. The only thing bringing this place down was the food - the pasta was overcooked; the bolognese sauce was too light to the point that one would think it was diluted; the chef could add more tomato to the mix, and a teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce to bring out the taste of a bolognese sauce. The saving grace of the food was that it had come out piping hot, as well as the well-made pizza.
C.The service was great and people there are friendly and professional. My sea food platter was flat and far too sweet. The meatballs were delicious and what I needed. The pasta mushroom was Devine and worth the trip and money. Don't try the sea food platter will be a let down.
R.We have been to La Porchetta Parnell since 2014. This restaurant is special. I don't know who the Chef is but he is one of the best in New Zealand. Great service, professional staff, cozy seats, great location, what is more? If you are intno Italian restaurant look no further this is the place you must go. Highly recommend especially when you have some guests to look after.

M.Good family restaurant. Food came quickly and there were plenty of options for fussy eaters.
The only criticism was that there was an extra charge for the kids entertainment pack, and we weren't told that it was an option, despite having 3 kids with us.
We possibly would have paid, but didn't know about it until we saw others getting it, and even if we did know, it was pricey.
S.This place used to be quite good and cheap. But now the price has gone up quite a bit, I don't feel it's a good place to grab a quick bite anymore. Everything tastes a bit too salty.

W.I relished the time there when we celebrated our staff Christmas party here last night. The service provided by Petra was tip-top with patience as 10 of us waited for each to arrive before we started ordering.

K.Went with a group of 4, shared two large pizzas, they were good and we were all happy with the quantity. Only quibble is there small pizzas are only a little bit cheaper than their large, so makes more sense to share. I don't think I'd go here by myself as it is quite pricey for a small pizza, you'd be better off going to the near by sal's pizza and getting a lunch deal which gives you a lot more

N.We used to be La Por regulars...came back today and were a little disappointed. Seemed like the pizza base had changed (for the worse). We got our usual Pollo e Funghi tortellini and the sauce is a little more watery and the chicken slightly more bland. Still can't beat La Por in the 'value for money' category.

G.Great food and service - I've been a local for 20 years and seen many changes of ownership at La Porchetta, but my family and I have never had a better Mediterranean style dining experience than right here last week. Sam was the perfect host, seeing to our every comfort, adjusting the air-conditioning, serving large portions really fast, and as soon as he realised it was my birthday brought out an ice-cream treat and serenaded me with his staff. The food was fabulous - tasty, al dente, and more than substantial. Meal done, he also offered takeaway boxes so nothing went to waste. Great experience, highly recommended!

C.Service and food was good, my wife took a nasty fall at the door on the way in. That ramp needs a rope or something to show it has a slight drop off, she was stepping aside for a mom and a small child on the way out. It was embarrassing and spoilt the evening. A bright beacon miraculously appeared after she fell.

Our waiter Samuel was wonderful and well noticed by all of at our table of 11, forgot to tip this fabulous gentleman, really well deserved after catering to our loud banter and demands. Food was great, table seating was great, nice atmosphere. Definitely top recommended. Thanks Samuel!

T.7 of us came here for a casual family birthday dinner where everyone ordered a variety of meals from pastas, seafood platter, pizzas, steak & we were all pleased with our delicious meals.
Reasonable prices & friendly staff, nice cosy cosy restaurant.
Parking is "park n display" on roadside or a few minutes walk to a carpark area. 5th star not awarded as polite server forgot our drinks which we got just before our meals came out.
Other than that, a great dinner :-)

P.I had a well priced and solid Spaghetti Bolognese. Service was on point and the restaurant had a warm welcoming atmosphere. Seems like the perfect place to go and eat as a family or with friends. After looking at some of the pizzas on offer I did feel like I missed out :(

S.Brilliant for take away or dining in. Staff are friendly and helpful and always seem very keen to ensure your meal is tasty. Impressively attentive staff considering how busy it gets often. Take out food is always ready to go on time and kept nice and hot. The pasta is ALWAYS my go-to especially the yum gnocchi either in creamy basil or mushroom sauce. Making adjustments to your order is no problem and I often get a little extra garlic. Love coming here!

D.This is a very nice Italian restaurant. It can be busy during Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. I highly recommend ordering the arancini balls (rice balls) as they are delicious and very filling. There pizza is also very nice. The setting contains some soft and casual booths that are nice.

One of the best Italian food restaurants in Auckland in my opinion. Sometimes you’ll need to call and ask if there are any available tables for dinner before going - because sometimes people come in large groups and stay for a really long time but some other tikes you could just pop up and ask for a table!
M.During our family's recent 2 weeks vacation in NZ North Island, we didn't come across that many Italian restaurants, especially ones that were reasonably priced. On the last day of our trip, we drove through Parnell, saw the restaurant and decided to eat there. The food was really good, especially the spicy pizza (see the pic) as recommended by the waiter. The pasta and risotto dishes we ordered were flavourful and portion-sizes were generous. They had a good dessert selection, but we were too stuffed to try. The waiter told us that La Porchetta is the largest Italian food chain in Australia & NZ. Will definitely look out for their restaurants in the future.

The drinks and pizzas are exquisite. My personal favourite dish is between the Fettuccini Pollo e Fughi and the Fettuccini Pollo e Avocado. I highly recommend La Porchetta to anyone looking for quality Italian food at a fair price.
M.Standard La Porchetta fare which is a compliment. Pizzas arrived quickly and we were offered water and the usual accoutrements. Friendly service. Busy on a Sunday night says everything.

B.Were sitting down the back and could still feel the cold coming in from the door as it was an automatic door and everytime someone stood near it, it would open. Might be an idea to change the type of door, considering the line of people waiting to be seated was right to the door so it didn't stop opening the whole time we were there. As for the service, I asked for a bottle of water and it was taken to the wrong table so I had to go to the bar to ask for another one. Waited 45 minutes for food, but that wasn't too bad considering it was really busy. Chicken schnitzel was very moist and tasty great meal. Would prefer Hobson street was still open though.

K.I used to love this place but it had a bad odor to it. Like a smelly rag. Mexicans pizza wasn't as good as before. It had more peppery flavour to it. Not sure if they changed their pepparoni?

A.Went there for dinner tonight on a spur of the moment and was blown away by the place! The food was amazing, service was great, we got a table straight away and the prices were very reasonable. Will definitely go back for dinner again!

A.Usually I am happy with the food, but when I ordered Penne Beef Ragu, I could find one tiny piece of meat after looking very carefully in the tomato sauce. Disappointed because I can cook penne with veggies and tomato sauce at home. The waiter spoke to me and brought some sauce with meat. Next time I'll try the ones I already know, like Carbonara or Pollo and Funghi.
