Reviews of Little Jimmy
A.
We ordered the 5 courses menu but included everything we want to try. Food was amazing and love the coconut taste for fish, highly recommended the eggplant and lamb. It was a great experience. Dessert is a bit too sweet for me but everything else was amazing! They’re quite popular so I would suggest to prebook.

I have always wanted to try this restaurant. Finally, I visited with my family. A portion of the large plate was a bit smaller than what I expected; however, the overall taste of every single dish we tried was so good 👍
And also, service was 100%. I definitely will come back to try the rest of the menu soon!
V.
I would add it onto my favorite restaurants listing now. When I enjoyed the food, I couldn’t wait to share it to my friends!! The environment was quite modern, and the service was great! Everything was perfect!
J.
Nice vibes and a pleasant smell of charcoal fire from the outside. However, the service was a bit average, and the food was ok but I wouldn’t say it’s amazing. Everything were designed as shared plates so it’s good to have a few people with you. The highlight was the cauliflower in a spiced curry-type yoghurt and lowlight was the lamb shoulder, it’s fine but not great.. the meat was well portioned but a bit dry and very lamb-y almost. Overall, it’s just above average but it seems to be packed quite quickly.
J.
Had a nice lunch with family at this lovely restaurant on Saturday. Food was good, for we the chicken was a bit salty. Overall service experience was good, there was a kind and friendly staff when we ask for particular suggestion.
H.
I hadn’t been here for dinner in quite some time, and I have to say the food was amazing this time. The venison tartare was unctuous and melt in your mouth, beef short rib was very tender and those brussel sprouts with chickpeas and cashew sauce was next level. Highly recommended.
C.
Now I love Little Jimmy. Im such a joyous lush and the wine and top shelf selection is incredible. My friend Virginie from No1 Family Estate asked me if we should do a bubbles brunch and here we are enjoying the Rose.
I love their food selection...I wish I bought a Pizza from them... I'll have to go back...
any excuse. 5 stars.
Bravo.
J.
Fantastic bar and restaurant. A must try place.
We had a few cocktails and just an entree and main split between two which was plenty of food. All of the cocktails were delicious, especially the limoncello sour.
The spicy chicken pizza was amazing, the pizza dough was incredible and the whole thing had a fantastic smokiness from the oven.
L.
Little Jimmy is a go-to date spot for my husband & I. The food is terrific, the service excellent, and location perfect: we just pick it up and take it to Cornwall Park for a picnic. Their sourdough pizzas are our favourites; I’ve added photos of the tandoori chicken & tomato mozzarella below. It’s also great to support the little guy, not just Little Jimmy itself but their suppliers, which are exclusively small local enterprises.
R.
Aside from a little pricey, cant fault this place. The food and service is top notch! Will return
M.
Wonderful service and delicious food. Stopped in here for a late lunch after a long day. The staff were friendly and inviting. Father in-law from Germany was impressed with the beer recommendation and said it was like what he would get back in Munich. Food came quickly. The raw fish starter was so delicious we ordered extra to go. Thanks very much :)
J.
The food was great: lamb ribs were the best we had in Auckland. Wagyu fillet was juicy and tender. Apple crumbles was just right. It had good range of beverage too.
The service was the best: we have been to many restaurants in Auckland yet Little Jimmy was the only place where the waiting staff realised I am a lefty and placed cutlery on the left side for me after I moved them to the left side. The attention to details was beyond my expectation. Well worth a five star.
S.
Had a delicious lunch here on Saturday. The fish risotto dish was a 10 out of 10 for me. So great to be back. Love this place.
E.
The staff gave off the most immaculate vibes. Incredibly friendly and welcoming with great chat. The food slapped and the menu had so many good options I was stressed trying to decide. The coffee was so good aswell, it came with this really nice cold foam. Kinda random but the cutlery was amazing and the atmosphere of the place was wonderful.
N.
I arranged a delayed wedding celebration in the upstairs function room on Saturday night. The organization before hand was seamless.
The venue , food and especially the wait staff where absolutely fantastic and contributed to a wonderful night. Highly recommend for a group function .
y.
From the other reviews, I'm pretty sure the rest of the menu may be good. But we ordered the mushroom pizza and it was really bad. 2 of us could barely finish 1.5 slices. We wasted the rest.
The service was good, easy to find parking and loved the ambiance.
K.
One of my all time favourites! The staff are awesome! Always friendly and welcoming which makes it a nice place to be. The food is sensational and it is all based on using Newzealand made produce which is pretty special. Drinks menu is amazing with a wide range. The food menu has an array of options. Highly recommend everything!
S.
I’ve dined here a few times and always had great food and service. I visited recently for a late lunch and tried the ham hock pizza and croquettes. The flavours on the pizza just did NOT go together at all.. the ham is already so rich so the amount of cheese was way too much. We hardly touched it and this cost us $77.. (pizza, croquettes, chips and 1 drink). $32 for an average pizza is just so disappointing. Might be worth reviewing this pizza? Honestly inedible in my opinion ..
A.
Phenomenal fine dining quality at reasonable prices. The atmosphere and decor is incredibly inviting and really makes Little Jimmy's memorable. Can highly recommend the chicken schnitzel. Will be visiting again.
D.
I really like Little Jimmys, but just wish the waitress wouldn’t come & try to take away plates when there is still food on them & clearly we are still eating. This has happened the last 2 times I have dined here, by the same person. Otherwise a nice place to go. We end up here on a regular basis as live in the local area. My Espresso Martini was exquisite!! 🙂👍
A.
Service was really efficient and staff were friendly and professional. Food nicely presented although the side dishes could've been a bit hotter.
There was quite a large group at the end of the restaurant drinking and that made it quite noisy for dining.
M.
So good to be back! Food is still consistently delicious, good wine, staff are lovely, and the sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce... YUMMMMM
T.
Great food and service - the curly fries are fantastic and the pork croquettes are delicious. Burger is also great. Really good quality ingredients and well executed dishes. Really relaxed vibe and remains so even when busy. Coffee is lukewarm so ask for extra-hot.
N.
Really nice set up and the service is good. Food is on the pricey side, but it is meant to be fine dining. The sour dough pizzas were unexpectedly Good, really light and crunchy. The dessert was not worth it at all and the reason for reduced stars - apple crumble didn't have a crumble top, it was more like cake and the apples itself seemed to be the type u get from a can, they weren't even cut up so didn't get fully cooked. Stay for dinner, skip dessert!
G.
Little Jimmy’s is always amazing to dine at, my partner and I came to celebrate our anniversary on Saturday night and the staff were so lovely and attentive. All the food was so delicious as usual and came out super fast. Couldn’t fault anything and will definitely be visiting again.
E.
It was a really pleasant meal out and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We started with Limoncello cocktails which were devine! Reminiscent of lemon meringue pie! Yum! Food delicious as well! Made for a special evening so thank you 🤤😊
A.
We have been going to Little Jimmy for a number years, in-fact ever since it opened. We have often taken our friends and visitors there too. The service is always perfect and the hosts are knowledgeable about the food being served. The only suggestion I would like to make is to increase their vegetarian options. Most of the time, I have to have the same couple of vegetarian options which are nice but would be great to see some variety.
J.
Went here a few weeks back for my birthday celebrations, and it was amazing! Great hospitality, wonderful service and INCREDIBLE food 🤩, still reminiscing their ginger Moscow mule! 10/10 would recommend
D.
Great meal and cocktails here.
Couple of girlfriends and I popped in here before going to the Lido cinema. We had the Trevally crudo, smoked fish and shared a pizza.
The service was great and the food was spot on.
Nice and buzzy atmosphere too.
Will be back for more :)
S.
Good service. Nice food.
C.
I just have to say like a few other I found the Chicken Schnitzel disappointing. It screamed Frozen Tegal meal as soon as the plate was presented. I’ve been lucky to eat Schnitzel in Vienna, Budapest and Madrid. This does not compare. It looked like it had been pressed through rollers not carefully beaten flat by hand. The breadcrumb mixture was totally unexceptional something from countdown vs homemaker fresh, way too fine. Like it was out of the 50’s. The whole thing was just too pan fried kind of greasy. Give it a miss if you can. My wife’s burger was ok but only just vs other examples around town. The curly fries were good. The slaw was also ok but again not exceptional. The ambiance was good and staff friendly. Pity our food choices did not live up to expectations
B.
Amazing food, amazing service. Had a dinner with 14 guests and did the set menu. All food was delicious and everyone was so full and happy by the end.
F.
Amazing food and the staff are really nice and friendly.. we got the chefs choice platter and were not disappointed.. They have an impressive drinks collection.. definitely recommend Little Jimmy!!
C.
Good ish food, nothing groundbreaking but outstanding wine.
The blonde hostess/cashier/ bartender with a blue, green floral shirt that wasn’t wearing a mask that seated us had the most appalling people skills that I have ever experienced in my life.
I have worked in hospitality and I understand how stressful the hospo environment can be, but that is no excuse to be angry at your customers. She was sarcastic, unbelievably rude and unkind. We are as nice as customers get, I honestly don’t understand why she was so horrible.. maybe because we have different accents? She brought the drinks to the table and slammed them down so hard that the glasses nearly broke. If she is so awful to customers, I cannot even begin to imagine how awful she must be to the other staff members. Honestly, surprised she hasn’t been fired yet…probably the owner’s daughter or something. Watch out for her if you go here. Serious piece of work she is.
Kudos to the floor staff wearing aprons though, they were so kind and attentive. Brilliant service on their behalf!
J.
Had a really good lunch here. The pork was perfect and the sticky date pudding to die for!!! Look forward to trying the dinner menu🙏
B.
Delicious food and sizeable portions. Good service but it was a slow night when we were there. Good recommendations from the wait staff who knew their menu quite well. Good atmosphere too.
Y.
Friendly staff, tasty food, top notch NZ wine and beer selection. Generous serving of perfect curly fries. Lamb ribs were delicious, but portions were quite small. Platter was a little disappointing - pickles were good, but bread was hard/chewy and almost inedible and again portions were quite small compared to price.
M.
Auckland’s hidden gem in Epsom. Been there few times, lunch and dinner (they have different menu for day/evening) and my tastebuds were always amazed. Great service and good beer on tap. 5+ stars from me! 🌟
B.
Stopped by for lunch and it wasn't too busy so we were led to a table immediately. We were given menus then promptly forgotten. Took a while to get the attention of a waitress to order. We ordered a few things to share. The lamb ribs and the pork croquettes were delicious but really expensive, around $20 a plate. It is more of an entree than a meal since they weren't served with anything.
Didn't come out full but fairly satisfied with the quality of the food.
G.
Pizza/flatbreads are the bomb! Brunch menu is great!
S.
Nice decor and ambience with excellent service from the attentive staff.
I visited because I had been told the food was all that and then some...
My experience started with coffee that while drinkable was somewhat weak and insipid.
The menu offerings looked exciting and varied, though in my case I went for a brunch classic that I could easily compare with meals enjoyed elsewhere.
It was 'nice' but not at all memorable, I was sadly left underwhelmed especially given the somewhat premium prices charged.
My partner felt much the same about her selection.
I don't think we will bother visiting again
N.
Excellent service, delicious food. Everything is delicious. Pleasant atmosphere and great service.
D.
We had an excellent meal at Little Jimmies! The burger was spot on, the curly fries perfect. Probably one of the smallest sides of fries I have ever had with a burger, which in one way is great - I didn't overeat, but they were so yummy, a slightly larger portion would have felt a little less tight and made it an A++ plate. We had the Dulce de Leche cheesecake which was simply amazing. I would go back just for another portion of this incredible cheesecake.
The bar / eating area on arrival was quite loud music wise, so we were glad to be shown into the restaurant where the atmosphere was great.
Also, free sparkling water - an absolute winner and that represents such extra value, that this is a big win for me as I always buy a bottle!
Also, I cant leave out the Bloody Jimmy - a really well flavoured cocktail topped with a lovely savoury kebab including warm tasty bacon! Well done!!
Overall a really great dining experience that I would highly recommend!
h.
As always little Jimmy never let me down, nice food, friendly staff. The food portion is not big, but really nice.
G.
Lovely restaurant with good service and fantastic food. Try the coconut risotto if they have it, absolutely wonderful.
J.
Food is amazing...service a little slow even though there were lots of waiting staff. Will be back though..loved it
B.
Been here numerous times for brunch, lunch and afternoon tea. Great suburban eatery which is linked to One Tree Grill, so you know the quality and consistency is assured.
Very flexible caterer for groups also, can cater for all sorts of diet.
D.
Booked a table for 4 with ease through Google. This is a down to earth, casual establishment with a touch of class,; nicely decorated with reduced lighting. The menu is a bit confusing at first sight but would suggest small platters & pizzas can be shared but the large platters are really mains for one. Shared an Artisanal Meat Platter which was divine - great range of sliced meat, sausages, parfait, pickles & chutney served with charred sourdough. The mains Pork Belly was a huge square of melt in mouth pork with crispy skin; the feijoa made a very nice change to the usual apple accompaniment, The lamb rump steak was equally delicious. The side of fries was probably unnecessary but they were cooked to perfection and quickly polished off. Staff were extremely attentive without being obtrusive and down to earth friendly. Visited during a self imposed 'dry July' but will definitely be going back to try out the great selection of craft beers and wines available.
D.
Food is good, staff very attentive, but believe for a burbs bistro, the prices are a bit out there.
T.
For a post work dinner catch up, we reconvened at Little Jimmy in Epsom for a fill dining experience ad opposed to dessert and coffee. Our waitress was super friendly and engaging and we were fortunate to get table.
What I live most about this restaurant is the local produce advocacy and endorsement of fresh NZ food and beverage. We thoroughly enjoyed shared starters of the trevally raw fish and pork croquettes. Simply heavenly and unforgettable!
Following on we had a wood fire sourdough Cajun chicken pizza with curly fries and to close of the meal, affogatos accompanying the Whitaker’s chocolate lava cake with freeze dried cherries. Highly recommended with distinction!
M.
Brilliant place, brilliant service and in auckland to with a smile. Host was awesome. Food outstanding as we had so much and should’ve just had the small plates x 2. Outstanding fish plate, cauliflower curry and trevally ceviche plus more. We will be back.
R.
What a great find. Bustling local bar/eatery that delivers on all fronts. The service was attentive, and the kiwi food and drink was delicious. Go if you're in the neighborhood.
P.
Had a work lunch here, food is really, really good! Had the potatoe gnocchi with mushroom sauce and a cheesecake.
m.
Just come back from dinner here and I have to say the worst thing about this place is trying to decide what was BETTER the food or the service. The young lad in the colorful dotted mask was an absolute pleasure. Even went as far to talk about our Christmas holidays, what we’d got up to and where we’d been. I’d come back for his company alone. But then the food came and it was nothing short of exceptional. The Trevally is an absolute must have! If google allowed me to give more than 5 stars I would. Thanks for such a great experience. Will be back soon for sure.
L.
So lovely to get back to Little Jimmy's. And on the day we went into 'red' but after a long lockdown we wanted our restaurant fix. Beautiful meals, superb service and great hospitality. Thanks LJ
J.
Excellent food, drinks and service. The date pudding is awesome!
D.
Brilliant - as always!!! Only wee flaw is the noise levels, acoustics not well designed, so it's sometimes difficult to hear others at your table. Suggest asking for a quiet spot when you book.
S.
No words can really touch on the excellence that was placed in front of me over and over and over and over and over and over and again. If you choose the seemingly endless 'Chef's Choice' from the menu for dinner? Make sure you skip lunch that day. EACH mouthful was a stunner! A taste and new experience every bite. Compliments to the Chef! ;)
M.
This is one of my favorite places in Auckland, absolutely amazing food, super friendly staff members, especially Petra Adamkova at very competitive prices. Could not recommend enough!
L.
We had a lovely dinner here. The team looking after our group of 29 provided excellent service and amazing food. Thank you Little Jimmy for a special night. Also appreciate you taking into consideration the dietry requirements of some guests. Would definitely recommend and keep in mind for another group booking.
R.
Great place to visit if you want a break from all the “trendy” Asian fusion menus which have been popular in restaurants recently! I ordered the lump rump which was cooked excellently, lean and tender. The atmosphere was excellent and the staff were attentive. Meals are decently sized and worth the $!
A.
Another fantastic dining experience at Little Jimmys. Service and food was great! I chose the Trevally fish and coconut raw fish as an entree, shared the daily special 1kg lamb shoulder with winter greens kale and pine nuts. They accommodated my dairy allergy by allowing me to bring my own birthay cake for dessert. Cake serving fee was only nominal cost.
T.
I ordered beef ribs, lamb ribs and fried fish. Although the quantity is not large, the taste is good. Beef and mutton taste a bit sweet. The side dishes are basically starch-free, so I ordered koji fries, which I liked very much and the amount was sufficient.
D.
Great place for a meal. Nice menu. Clean fresh food and only small NZl craft beers on offer. No big commercial beers.
M.
Ordered beef ribs, lamb ribs and fried fish, the taste was good. Beef and mutton taste a bit sweet. The side dishes are basically starch-free, so I ordered koji fries, which I liked very much and the amount was sufficient.
M.
Our local - we are regular. Love the food, great service. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Our favorites, the cauliflower curry starter, the curly fries, the fish and many more. All of the mains are fabulous each and every time - we have always had consistently excellent food. The wine matches are pretty good too and have a great selection of cocktails and gin. Well worth a visit any time. We are going to try to brunch service which has just started
M.
Awesome food and great service, a no issues experience that was right what was required for our wedding anniversary.
C.
Great food, inventive dishes made with locally sourced ingredients and quality offerings of more standard fair like pizza and chips, not-at-all pretentious, the staff is warm, friendly and accommodating.
S.
Great food and service! Lovely interior, good brunch menu but on the pricier side
A.
Don't often leave reviews, but this is the third time we have had a great meal and excellent service at Little Jimmy - so Little Jimmy deserves me taking a few minutes for the review. Really impressive meats, something they do pride themselves on and well deserved. The lamb and ribs we had were as good as it gets. We were also super happy with the desserts - great flavours and nice to see dessert of good proportions. And service is always friendly, knowledgeable and fast.
M.
Love the chicken & cashew pizza, always order everytime I visit. Best tasting pizza in town I must say! Bearded guys that work there are really friendly & hospitable too.
A.
Food was great!
Don't be in a hurry as our service was a bit slow. Was a bigger group so this may not have helped or they may have been a bit short staffed?
Worth it for the meal though.
J.
Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here last Friday, will be back again. Pork Belly and Beef Short Rib were fabulous and good old fashioned apple crumble delicious. Small mix up with waitress not sure which drink was which. Had a great meal, and we were able to linger longer than allocated 2 hours.
A.
Great restaurant, really well done.
We got the 5 course chef chooses option and was stoked with the courses that came out, really good value for the quality of the food.
All Food and drink is locally sourced so you get a great drink selection too.
10/10
L.
A local favorite for lunch and dinner, the lamb ribs for lunch with apple slaw is a must, and the slow cooked shoulder of lamb for two for a main meal is devine.
L.
Delicious desert fresh cream on the side, sticky date pudding for late night hang out after the Lido spot
J.
What a great place to go for dinner! Myself and two friends visited Little Jimmy on Wednesday and it was busy but despite that the service from Alex and the rest of the staff was excellent. The food was packed full of flavour and we also enjoyed a few cocktails, which were good however I was a little unsure about the negroni coming in a premixed bottle (always better when made fresh at the bar). Will dine again!
I.
The sharing plates are the tastiest in Auckland with great variety for everyone and good-sized portions. Friendly and competent staff. Always busy so best to book. We are very lucky to have this local diner.
A.
Had dinner here upstairs with a large group. Fantastic food and staff.
Update. Recent dinner here confirms its consistency for great food and great service.
K.
The food at Little Jimmy's was very delicious and had great service.
J.
This is our local and we love it. Food is always fabulous as is the choices of beverages. All NZ stocked which is fabulous for supporting local. Lots of parking. Always amazing service. Best to book if going after 5pm. Great for families or catching up with friends or colleagues.
K.
This is my second time dining at Little Jimmy's and once again it didn't disappoint. Foods outstanding and it has a great inviting vibrant atmosphere.
We were running late and they still held a table for us. Would recommend to anyone to eat there.
Staff are awesome friendly and welcoming
P.
Went for dinner last night for hubby’s birthday. Had the 5-course $68 chefs menu which was delicious. I counted 8 different dishes, all delicious. The trevally in coconut cream was beautiful and fresh, the pork belly delicious with such a good crackling, and the sticky date pudding was hands down one of the best desserts I’ve ever had! Such good value. Would definitely go back.
J.
Food was delicious. Physical space was pleasant. Service was friendly, helpful and quick. Only lacking one star (would have made it 1/2 but wont let you do that) because no changing area for our 1 year old grandchild Highly recommend it for delicious food and friendly quick service. Loved it thank you Little Jimmy's
K.
Great place! First time there and we did the chefs choice menu which was awesome. Staff were attentive and friendly. My favourite course was the dessert, best cheesecake with kiwifruit sorbet Ive had in a very long while. 😁👍
T.
Good food (vegetarian pizza was delicious), beer and great staff. Thanks Little J's
R.
Food was delicious
Service was great
Would dine here again
F.
Great little place. I got a few odd looks for showing up on a Lime scooter, but the food was mad good and they brew their own beer. I had ceviche and jalapenos. It was good.
H.
Popped in for a beer and bubbly in the afternoon, very very nice pizza from the bar menu. Nice staff, very attentive.
J.
Really wonderful meal. A variety of vegetable dishes in addition to meat and seafood. Catered very well to coeliacs/gluten-free with both the waitress and manager double checking which was reassuring. Delicious gluten-free cheesecake. Well worth the drive from Auckland CBD.
B.
My partner and I went out for dinner last Sunday and the food here is excellent the gnocchi was AMAZING and I would highly recommend this. My partner had the pork belly which was also delicious, we also decided to share the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream to share and it was Devine...staff were friendly and helpful although I did notice my jacket that was on the chair next to me was wet when I left I think the waitress had accidentally spilt water on it and not said anything I’m glad it was just water. Apart from that we left very full and have an enjoyable meal.
I.
Always great value, very friendly staff. Book ahead, as very popular with the locals
A.
Very friendly staff and beautiful food! The place is also nice!
M.
Got a couple of pizzas and some greens. The latter being a choice that one of the waitresses suggested. It was kale, something I'm not into usually but this was good.
The waitresses attended to our every need and were very sweet and helpful. Very attractive girls too. All the staff we dealt with that night (Sunday) were kind and courteous. Going as far as they could to be accommodating. I was served an excellent mixed drink which is the one of best of this particular drink I've had. I buy them everywhere I go and this was top tier.
We had our food and then stayed and sat a while as chatted and caught up; not ordering dessert or coffee during this period of maybe an hour. Which was a tad cheeky of us; takIng up the space for so long. Though the excellent service was maintained solidly throughout. The kind and personable waitresses filled our water and saw that we were comfortable well past what would have been reasonable to expect. Don't know if I'd of been so patient when I worked hospitality! They were also knowledgeable, with information on New Zealand made whiskey and beer.
To sum out experience up it was excellent.
We received A+++ food from charming, attentive and friendly staff.
J.
Fabulous food and drinks. Nice relaxing environment. Staff really nice. Will be back before I leave Auckland.
B.
We booked Little Jimmy on the recommendation of a friend for a dinner party in the upstairs room. We were happy with everything, the set 3 course meal was plentiful and service was great. Kids were able to order off the menu. It did take a little while for our starters platter to arrive though. :)
E.
Had a beautiful dinner on Friday night, 1st time to Little Jimmy. We were seated upstairs which was quieter. Prompt service, friendly staff and delicious food. Would recommend 👌
B.
I don't normally review but little Jimmy's is one of my favourite Auckland restaurants and deserves the praise.
A great atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food. Also the best cutlery around :)
As a dairy free person there were plenty not options and the staff even offered sorbet for dessert which was not on the menu.
K.
I ate here at christmas time and again this week in March. We enjoyed the food however you don't get value for money. I'm not a big fan of places where you have to order side to go with your main which some of the sides we ate were nothing worth writting home about. I ate the pork belly which was delicious
C.
Top notch suburban restaurant, the best I've dined at in Auckland. Easy on-street parking nearby, great interior vibe, happy staff ... and then you get to the food! Must try the Chef's Special if it's available, 5 courses of great tasting diversity for not a lot. Try it, you'll love it too!
J.
It was the first time my partner & I went to Little Jimmys and it was lovely! The food was delicious & the atmosphere was welcoming. The only thing was our table felt a little crammed into the corner it was in. I mean, we went out of our way to reserve a table so we did think that meant we'd be seated more comfortably. Otherwise, perfect little spot with great food and wonderful service😊
S.
Good quality innovative menu. Especially like small eats as an option ... photo of mousse style cheesecake with sorbet kiwifruit
H.
These guys were so accommodating. The were happy for me to set up and get some work done. And then there's the food! I had the beef burger, nice and simple and delicious!
A.
Great lunch food, atmosphere, great service
G.
Staff are absolutely amazing, went more than above and beyond. Food is 10/10, will definitely be back
k.
Good service and nice good, but the menu didn't have many vegetarian options.
J.
Very good. Nice coffee. Portion is a bit small.
s.
Great Food, Very Nice place . Environment is good. Its worth it.
C.
Congratulations Little Jimmy’s! You guys totally rock! We recently celebrated my husbands 50th birthday here and let’s just say it was a night he’ll never forget. Your service was A1, providing our own personal waitstaff was impressive and your food was totally delicious, showcasing the best of local NZ food, wine and beer. We had the upstairs area all to ourselves with our group of 18 and everybody left super impressed and raving about our night. The aesthetic is industrial and modern and the atmosphere is intimate and warm. We will be back - Little Jimmy’s doesn’t disappoint!
I.
Excellent service, delicious food.

One of our Favorite restaurants :) The lamb rack is a MUST try dish as I feel it’s d Best in town 👍 The other dishes are also very good. The price is worth every penny with the Quality n Presentation. Service is Excellent with all the Pretty Staff 😍
J.
Great Epsom local! Love everything on the menu. The fish and coconut risotto was amazing! The pizza's are delicious. Consistently good every time.
A.
The table service was efficient and friendly with the wait time acceptable, water glasses filled without having to ask. It took a little time to find someone to direct to the table but there was a large table of patrons. The food was excellent, pork belly was melting in my mouth. Superb really. Be assured that your meal will worth every cent.
K.
Love the wagyu beef and its curly french fries.
J.
Little Jimmy’s is our local and we go there often. It is a fabulous restaurant and the food is always consistently good. Fresh locally sourced food prepared with care and love. I just about always have the lamb ribs because they are so delicious. The service is very friendly and efficient. My only criticism would be that we cannot always get in as it is so popular.
The other day I took a good friend for her birthday lunch. I called ahead and asked them to bring out dessert with a candle for her. They did it beautifully with a chocolate molten cake and was a lovely surprise.
We feel very lucky that Little Jimmy’s is our local.

H.
Good good. Staff is nice and helpful. They gave good advice too. We will come back.
P.
Really awesome food, small menu, very well done, great wine list, with NZ spirits! Exemplary service
B.
I've had the pleasure of dining there twice in the last 12 months. We all had the chef's selection both times and came away very happy and satisfied. The service was quick and efficient, prices reasonable for the quality. Can't wait to go back.
C.
Great food and excellent service. We will be back.
J.
The best food in Auckland. The freshest food in Auckland. The raw fish is always exquisite. The sourdough was blissful. And the wines .... Golly. Excellent service too, really first rate, and I'm quite judgmental.
P.
We've been to Little Jimmys a number of times. This was the first time that we went for lunch. The food is great and the service was excellent. My only minor gripe would be that we booked for 11:30 which is the time that they open but it seemed that they weren't quite ready for customers and there was a delay with the menu.
P.
The food here was so delicious, I can't even. 5 stars for quality of food. I ordered the cauliflower curry and yum. I wish there was an option to order it with rice. I also tried the curly fries and they were very nice too.
It is important to note that the standard here is sparkling water, which i really do not like. I went to the counter to order normal water to quickly get the taste out of my mouth and one of the staff insisted that they would bring it to my table instead of handing me a glass. She didnt understand my level of discomfort. However a nice man who was working behind the bar fixed me up quickly. The server came back multiple times to top off the sparkling water but not my glass of flat.
E.
Little Jimmy's is not cheap but the food was tasty and flavorsome,
A.
Excellent eatery and bar. We loved the selection of food and drinks. The sourdough pizzas are very very good indeed. Lots of different cheeses are dotted throughout the different dishes. The drinks menu is an excellent range of wines and craft beers.
The staff are there when you need them, attentive and professional.
Great place, thoroughly recommend.
S.
Little Jimmy’s was EXCEPTIONAL! We had a time limitation and a little girl celebrating her birthday and they were super accommodating of us even when they were busy. The staff were friendly and very efficient. The candle in our daughters desert was just a wonderful touch that brought her so much joy! The food quality is phenomenal with fresh local produce and high quality meats. The wine list is excellent in quality. The service was some of the fastest we’ve experienced in this caliber of restaurant. We cannot wait to come back to be able to sit for longer and really enjoy all the aspects of the menu. Thanks little jimmy
吳.
Delicious food with local product.
Love the deserts most.
J.
Very cool place with spanner cutlery and awesome decor. However, the drinks and meals are overpriced and if you go in there and don't spend a decent amount, then the staff look at you weirdly when you order. Not the kind of customer service you would expect for a high end restaurant.
S.
Consistently good particularly in regard to their vegetable dishes. A couple of times I have encountered the dreaded under seasoned "why should I have to add salt to a meal created by a chef" scenario but these have been outweighed by positive experiences. Nice atmosphere and great wine list, and the service is very good.
K.
The food at Little Jimmy’s was excellent. The cocktails delicious and suggestions made regarding quantity required on point.
However, our dining experience felt very rushed. Whilst we appreciated the quickness of our food coming out it was all at once and once we had our food we were left to it. We would have ordered coffee and maybe dessert but felt as though we had been forgotten. Service definitely needed to be more consistent and the rate at which starters and mains presented needed to be considered.
N.
Great spot, love the vibe. The food is amazing and the drinks especially the cocktails are awesome. The staff extremely friendly and helpful, only small criticism was the need to have to hail the waitress, which was a little frustrating. However still a very pleasant experience and the Dad's at the table enjoyed their Fathers Day lunch.
J.
Very happy to have visited here after recommendations from some locals. The service was quick, friendly and informative. We had a 3 cheese pizza which was delicious and generous, topped off with an amazing, moist sticky date pudding. A lovely venue with a friendly but refined atmosphere. Suggest you make a quick booking online because it can get very popular.
J.
Great food / atmosphere/service never fails to pleas
C.
We booked a table online through the booking system and the booking was confirmed immediately. Quite impressive. We had a booking for four people and were greeted immediately on arrival and shown to our table. Service was excellent as was the food. We were all impressed and have decided to definitely go again. Thank you Little Jimmy team. 10 out of 10.
K.
We really rate this place- the king fish never fails to impress and my personal favourite is the cauliflower cauliflower. I have never NOT ordered it- mind you- pretty much everything I order I tel myself I’m definitely gonna order that again next time so fair to say our order gets bigger and bigger every time we dine ;)
K.
We love it here! The pizzas are fantastic and the staff are amazing!
J.
Really great service. Lovely decor inside, the food was amazing. We had the beef short rib and pork belly, both excellent. Then the cheesecake and sticky date pudding for dessert again excellent. High recommended Little Jimmy!
Z.
Went her me for lunch yesterday. The service from the young lady was amazing. Very friendly and on the ball constantly. Very impressed by her. Other guy with a huge beard was awesome too. Great coffee and food too. Great job team
R.
The most delicious food, I loved it. Lovely friendly, prompt service too. Highly recommend it
A.
Went for dinner. Parking is no issue. The small plate lamb ribs and trevally were perfect. The pork belly main was not worth. Cocktail was $20. Missed the dessert. All in all, will re visit.
J.
What a fantastic restaurant! The food was easily the most delicious I have had in a very long time, the decor is pleasant and the serving staff friendly and attentive.
B.
Very good food, and staff know their wine well enough to pair it with what you decide to eat. Highly recommend.
J.
Super delicious thanks for having us!
H.
We had a lovely lunch here, made to feel very welcome & as were in no rush we lingered over wine & coffee. The staff made us feel very comfortable and assured us that there was no problem with us remaining for a while after eating. The food is beautiful, diverse and best of all... everything is sourced as locally as possible.
A great place for those who are aware of supporting NZ businesses.
The décor is simple and contemporary.
Will definitely return.
L.
Our family had a set menu dinner for our Xmas get together. It was fantastic.
The venue has a great vibe the staff are professional and the food was 10 out of 10.
Many thanks
A.
Nice atmosphere, good selection of drinks, friendly staff. Some food portions were underwhelming and we were left hungry - the pork belly was literally just a slab of pork belly with some puree swirls (for $36), and the gnocchi dish had maybe 8 small pieces of gnocchi (for $30). The burgers were good and a normal size. Would return for drinks but not a meal.
L.
Came to celebrate a family birthday- group ranged from 18 to 78, 2 real foodies, one vegetarian, one person with small range of food “likes” - and everyone found something delicious on lunch menu.
Great service, and instant willingness to increase size of our group at short notice.
A.
Cool new place... I was there on a Monday night and it was surprisingly busy. Great atmosphere, some interesting and delicious food. Craft beers.
......
Four years later the the beers are still cold, the food still awesome (pizza's sooo good) and the team are top notch.
M.
Always go here for the chicken schnizel and apple and red cabbage slaw. Again, it was really good, although would benefit of less butter on the top. The service is outstanding. My favourite local.
L.
This is a great restaurant if you want a meal that's a little bit fancy, but not pretentious. The food is delicious and made with 100% NZ sourced ingredients. My partner and I came here for our anniversary and had the Chef's Choice 5-course menu, $68pp. The food was incredible and we were so full at the end. Highly recommend going that route if you can't decide what to order and want to try a bit of everything.
S.
Enjoyed our Sat night dinner experience.Friendly service and great food.
Restaurant was busy @8pm no long waits to order drinks or food.Would definately recommend and return again
A.
Seated on time, staff very attentive and could adapt to formal / casual approach, staff knew menu well, great range of food.. good quality staple bistro burger alongside beautifully presented fish with subtle decoration and well choreographed flavours. Skilled staff in all areas. Priced as one would expect. Will certainly return based on experience and desire to check out other things on the menu!
K.
Decided to eat here for date night after passing by earlier in the day. So glad we did. Service was friendly. Food and drinks were amazing. Highly recommend the wagyu beef short rib! Desserts were delicious, and portion size was good. Will definitely be back here in the future :)
M.
Amazing service and food, great atmosphere. Highly recommend the chefs choice menu. The waitress who served us was absolutely on her game, and everyone else seemed lovely. One of the most memorable meals we've had in Auckland, thank you.
L.
Celebrated a birthday dinner for a friend last night. Would well recommend! Food great and service perfect! Our waitress overheard us talking about our friend’s birthday and brought our dessert out with a candle with no prior arrangement. Super attentive service without overdoing it. Well done Little Jimmy👍
R.
We visited this restaurant about 3months ago. We found it by accident when we were driving around near our apartment. And the next day we decided to get lunch here with another friend , we got lots of dishes explained to us and the chef was sharing his knowledge of the ingredients. Very polite wait staff and the food was so tasty and incredible. This is our recommendation for restaurant in Epson. The decor is also very nice, also the leather apron for the waiters.
We got the best wine and delicious desserts.
D.
Good food. even better service. Have not had such an attentive waitress for a very long time. She looked after our table of 9 perfectly by memory without writing any orders down.
L.
Food was great. Service generally good though young woman who took our order either didn't get our requests to the kitchen or the kitchen got it wrong in terms of sequence of food.
D.
Great place for a meal. We had the chefs choice menu, 5 courses and it was amazing. Great value, excellent food and out standing service. Definitely coming back here soon with friends. Owned or operated by the same people as One Tree Grill where we dined earlier in the week and also loved. Not our first time to either place and certainly not our last!
P.
Food was delicious, wonderful service and we loved the atmosphere - thank you for a wonderful evening. You should be very proud of your staff and the quality of your food. Try trevally for starter and beef lib for main and you will be happy. The cool little place offers not only delicious food but good friendly customer service. Will be back again sometime soon.
B.
Had breakfast by myself this morning. Been here quite a few times and wasn't overly impressed by anything. This time the food was very very good. The coffee was amazing too. The service I received was also very attentive and spot on. Couldn't fault anything at all. I was very impressed that all the staff were so calm and friendly despite it being extremely busy. Very happy with my experience
E.
Food was just ok. It lacked finesse. The lamb ribs were a bit too salty, the chicken schnitzel was too greasy and the pork belly skin was rubbery. Over all we weren’t impressed.
S.
Well I was bought here for a date with my partner and it was a surprise for location. I have to say little jimmy has gone straight to the top of my favourite places to eat in Auckland. The food was perfectly balanced with flavours that matched mixed altogether and singley. The food was perfectly cooked to still have such softness and not over or undercooked by a little at all. I would recommend going here when you have a chance and I will be back here soon again to dive into the food once again. A+ service and food quality. Thank you little jimmy, for the perfect date night out.
H.
Wonderful food - fresh, vibrant and tasty. Trendy decor, outdoor seating with wind block and blankets. Staff were excellent!
N.
My husband and I ate here on Saturday 7th December. I had visited for lunch on a previous visit to Auckland and was impressed then. As we were staying near by we decided to try it for dinner. We had the smoked fish pate to start (shared) which was really good. My husband had the Pork Belly which he thoroughly enjoyed I had the Wagu Beef Rib which was tender and succulent and beautiful flavour. For sides we had corn, green salad and curly fries. For dessert we shared a sticky date putting which was a nice size to share, could not have eaten a whole portion. Would highly recommend Little Jimmy. Staff were very efficient and friendly. I also liked that we could reserve a table online.
D.
Excellent date night location, super friendly service and smiles all round. Sharing plates perfectly proportioned and prepared - good food made tasty and fresh. Highly recommend
J.
I had an absolutely lovely time here, it's probably the nicest place I've been in the Auckland area. Often as a solo diner you find staff either ignore you or rush you out but every member of staff I interacted with here was so chatty and friendly, and that really makes the dining experience. The food is more meant for sharing but the four cheese pizza was gorgeous and absolutely fine for one person if you're hungry! I LOVED the cocktails too. Overall a wonderful little restaurant that only serves locally sourced food and drinks!
L.
We chose the set menu option where Little Jimmys choose your meal. Stunning food. Excellent service. Loved every minute and was delicious. Wine a bit pricey but good selection. Will be back
J.
1st time for lunch. Amazing food very yummy. Great service.
Cold wine. We will be back.
C.
Absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended for a lovely brunch out.
L.
Very good. Food was excellent and serves was friendly.
C.
I visited a few months ago with one Chef who has since left and then again on Friday with the new Chef, but however pretty much the same set menu. I was a little disappointed that after raving to my friends and showing them previous photos that the food was not up to the same standard this time. The croquettes were smaller and not so perfect visually although they tasted good. The desserts were not as exciting and were very sweet compared to the fondant I last had. The portion sizes although acceptable for a voucher were also not as generous as the first time. Maybe the Chef needs a lesson from the old Chef. Service was still great.
B.
We've been here a number of times and have never had a poor experience. Staff and food are excellent, seating works well. We even came on Valentine's Day (although prepared for a busy and slow night) and had a fantastic evening, they had everything humming with a special set menu. We'll definitely keep coming back 😊
K.
Great experience. Enjoyed the degustation option of chefs choice the other night. Worth every course and mouthful. Plus one of the best places to get a good whiskey sour!
R.
Great meal - delicious food, wonderful service and lovely atmosphere. Will definitely come again.
J.
Went for dinner last night and it is a fun, bustling restaurant with great decor and good service. My sourdough pizza was amazing but the husband's pork belly was a bit dry which was disappointing. Think it's great that they use ingredients from small NZ businesses.
P.
Quality food and the variety of difference dessert. Bit expensive but worst to go.
T.
First visit. A nice welcome when we arrived. Staff were on the ball and food was superb. Had the lamb rump, it was just perfect.
A Saturday night so was fairly noisy. But parking right out front. Will definitely be back.
S.
Delish as always. Epic fish and fresh beer.
B.
Word on the street is all produce here is from New Zealand. The food is great, as is the service. There's customers here almost all day. A+ would feed here again.
D.
Even though our order got a bit lost in the bustle of Friday and the wait for food was a bit long, the staff were very nice and did apologize for it. They were friendly and courteous and the food was fantastic! Definitely a must for anyone in the area or looking for a nice place to eat.
F.
Always an absolute pleasure to go to Little Jimmys - everything from the NZ food/drinks menu to choose from, the way the food is presented and the taste is amazing! Staff are friendly and down to earth and the bar/restaurant has the best setup for feeling relaxed when dining in while enjoying your meal/wine/beer...… 5 stars all the way!
D.
The crew at Little Jimmy are the best in the bizz. Taylor Aaron and co...boy do they make you feel welcome. It's honestly a bit like walking into Cheers and everyone knows your name! Its our local...and we support local but even if we weren't we'd make the trek across town. Almost don't want to review you guys so highly cos then my Little Jimmy secret will be blown and everyone will want a piece of you!
Seriously great place.

S.
Excellent food! Fantastic service 👌🏻
If I was being pedantic, I could maybe give four stars because things weren’t ‘perfect’, but this isn’t a realistic expectation for any establishment to achieve.
Everything I was served this evening was beautiful both on the plate and in taste.
The staff were accommodating to dietary requirements and proactive with offering their apologies if things didn’t go to plan.
Overall, a really great experience and I’d absolutely return for another meal.
Many thanks to all of the team at Little Jimmy 👍🏻
M.
We keep coming back because it's the best coffee we have found on this side of town, the sparkling water is very refreshing, the vegetarian pizza today was gorgeous and Little Jimmy's is dog friendly, with clean water bowls and very comfortable outside tables that are protected from the weather. Parking is also easy to find but often we walk. The staff are friendly and helpful and quietly look after all requests. Neighbourhood dining as it should be.
S.
Nice place, friendlish staff. Pretty standard food and not that much to it really. I had the lamb, while my partner had the salmon and both weren't the largest portions we've had by visiting other places. Although, cooked and presented well. Maybe that's just the way they choose to go about the menu, though we would have liked if it were accompanied by some mash, potatoes or something else to fill you up without having to spend more. On a side note... we did enjoy the curly fries! Extra yummy! So not a bad Valentines dinner out.
S.
Wonderful food & atmosphere
Friendly helpful staff
R.
Can't fault the food, was spot on! A little slow asking us if we wanted dessert, however when it came it was worth the wait. Very generous portion and stunningly presented. Hope to come back soon.
A.
Delicious food, very attentive staff, welcoming atmosphere. My older parents were initially concerned the restaurant would be too 'trendy' for them but they loved their meals - and being able to try drinks from smaller suppliers.
C.
I took my son plus his friend and wife for a meal there last night, and had a very nice meal.
The staff were attentive the wine excellent; meals were tasty and good portions for us all. So as a farewell meal in NZ I would recommend Jimmy's to you, but book ahead or you may be disappointed.
K.
You never fail to disappoint us Little Jimmy. Great night out - thank you. Food, wine, beer and staff were all amazing. We are so lucky to have you on our doorstep. Highly recommend the char grilled cauliflower in curry sauce - always a favourite of ours. See you next time :-)
N.
Amazing everything!
One of the best restaurants in Auckland.
Prepare yourself for a taste indulgence!

S.
Just came here for my birthday, just the three of us and I have to say hands down the best service I think I have ever received.
Bar manager I'm sorry I forgot your name but you were just awesome with us and you and your staff couldn't do enough for us.
I would highly recommend coming to this place. The food was amazing and the staff were just top notch.
Thank you so much :)
V.
I really like this place. It is our favourite spot. I was there after a while yesterday and it was litlle bit disappointing. The food is still yummy but there is way to much green on plates. I understand the menu has changed a bit but I think this is too much. Service and the whole restaurant is good. Hopefully next time will be better.
L.
We loved this bar and restaurant. Locally sourced, fresh produce that supports local farmers and other small businesses. It got very busy by about 6pm and we can understand why. The food was amazing, more experimental than your usual cafe or bar food, fancy cuisine in a relaxed venue. There is a hipster vibe with the decor and lots of attention to detail with presentation and little touches, but the customers and staff are down to earth and not hipsters at all. Cheese platter, pork belly and goat curry were our favourite dishes. Many different meat dishes, but vegetarians have a lot delicious options too. They cater for allergies.
T.
We brought a baby with us, I was a bit worried she would be too noisy and annoyed others, the team provided us a up level table in the quiet corner, staff was very friendly and it was very kids friendly.
Great service and high quality food, definitely will return soon.
T.
We had a lovely lunch on Sunday food was great but my only comment would be it was very cold inside where we were sitting and no heaters going.
S.
We had a small family event for 15 people at Little Jimmy. From helping us to plan right through to service on the night the staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was exceptional.
B.
We visited Sunday with friends on their way to the airport. The ambience was excellent, the menu was exciting, the service was great. The food and drinks when they arrived were well presented and tasty, not one murmur of discontent amongst the four of us. To finish off we ordered coffees, these also were fabulous. Thanks for having us Jimmy - we will be back
A.
Amazing food atmosphere and service! Loved the wallpaper on the ceiling!
R.
I love Jimmies, but was just a tad disappointed by the Sunday menu which seemed mainly suited for Brunch not late lunch. What we did have though was delicious
A.
Wonderful as always. We shared the pork croquettes, then I had the beef burger and curly fries (yum!) and my partner had the fish, with the apple coleslaw. Followed by two amazing desserts; Girl Guide biscuit and strawberry cheesecake with basil ice cream (different but tasty) and the Whittaker's Chocolate Fondant. Top notch food in a delightful atmosphere.
A.
Great place. Third time there and staff and food exceptional. A couple of minor mix ups with drinks but swiftly and professionally sorted. It can get busy so always pays to book.
T.
This was our first visit but definitely not our last; in fact we could become regulars. We decided on "Trust the Chef". Excellent value for money. The service was prompt, courteous and helpful. The food presentation was excellent, though not spectacular. However the flavour combinations were fantastic - out of this world - and the "Obsidian" Montepulciano was an excellent accompaniment. The portions also were a good size for this style of dining. Congratulations Little Jimmy, we loved our evening.
G.
We found this place when we were looking for somewhere to have a bite to eat before a show at the Logan Campbell center it's now one of my most favorite little spots in Auckland
We ordered a few items from there sharing menu we got the ribs the goat curry and the beef cheeks with a side salad.
The service was top class as was the food I loved the lamb ribs I wished I had got the big serve they were that good.
We also had some cocktails the wife had a rhubarb sour and I had a rum and ginger both were tasty and made with New Zealand liquor which I thought was cool to see.
T.
We loved it. Great ambience, loved the dark timber and light banquet against the tiled black and white floor with natural light and spectacular chandeliers. The lamb was delicious and the beef cheek was succulent but a little fatty. The chocolate hazelnut caramel dessert was scrumptious. Lightly sparkling mineral water in abundance. The staff were friendly and efficient. A little loud because of the acoustics however we will be back.
D.
Food was amazing! My wife even has order envy 😉.
Staff are friendly and we're even able to handle my onion allergy without issue.
This is our first time here, but we're definitely planning our next visit soon!
J.
Would give 10 stars for the service alone and another 10 for the food if I could
j.
Wonderful experience always, I had tried every single dish on the menu after this time. Here definitely are one of our favourite restaurant.
B.
Set menu for lunch. Upstairs dining area was comfortable. Staff was lacking a sense of humor. Food was nice - try the pork belly - most of my team had that and said it was good.
S.
I met a couple of girlfriends here for an after work catch-up during the week here. We shared a pizza and also one of us had the beef burger which was delicious apparently but the wine price and pour was a complete let down. When we went to pay with the cashier we were not only charged for a more expensive wine but we also discovered that the wine prices had increased from what was printed on the wine menu and the pour was very mean to say the very least. I cannot stand this when I go out for goodness sake at least pour the glass half full for that price! On this alone it would make me question whether I would go back as it ended up being quite an expensive night in the end and it’s a shame as the meals looked good and I’d perhaps go back with my husband for dinner at a later date.
J.
First and foremost was the lovely, friendly waitrons. The food was excellent. We had the pulled pork crutons. Another small detail that was a really pleasant suprise was the table water which had a slight hint of bubbles. The flat white coffee was also excellent.
Great atmosphere with a well stocked bar and lots of options for a coctail.
H.
Firstly being able to book online was excellent Food was thoroughly enjoyed by all of us mainly because the selection was different from elsewhere
Great lunch
R.
The food was fabulous, great drink selection too and service was generally very good. However, there were a couple of points that made the evening less than stellar - from the minute we sat down I felt very rushed and like they were trying to push us through as quickly as possible. We don't go out for a meal very often, so we like to savour the moment a little more. I think they got us in and out in a little over an hour so it wasn't the most relaxing birthday dinner. Also a little disappointed that my restaurant association vouchers weren't accepted (admittedly I should have called and checked but thought it would be ok as Little Jimmy is on the restaurant association website saying they are accepted).
D.
Amazing food. Great selection. Fantastic service!
J.
We had dinner here yesterday, we ordered the surprise menu with a bottle of wine and it was very delicious! The service was great and we loved every course! Would definitely recommend this place!
A.
Little Jimmy is a family favourite and we have never been disappointed. The food is always amazing and the staff super friendly. Love that you are our local.
P.
Fabulous exceptional food, great service, nothing was any trouble. Had a large group and had the set menu which was a really nice experience. Plenty of entree food to share also mains just little light on the desserts to share.
J.
It was exactly what they said they were. Everything foodwise was fresh. The waitress who attended to our table was a little unfriendly. I gave the order and wasn't sure if she got one of the items so I repeated it again. She responded with a little discontented impatience which I clearly didn't expect.
I like the lady at the cashier. She attempted to ask how our meal was and also did some upselling by giving me the dinner menu. I thought that was great! She certainly deserve a pat on her shoulder.
I will return for dinner.
K.
Have been travelling from the Shore to LJ's for the last 5 years now. A regular. Food and Service is always the best, never had a bad experience. Thanks LJ don't change a thing!
J.
Had a great drink catching up with friends at the bar, our platter we ordered was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful to make our evening special. I'm glad we now have another great meeting place in the area. I must pop in for breakfast one day.
P.
Just spent a relaxed couple of hours here, reading my book and watching the world go by. The staff are attentive, friendly and a pleasure to deal with, the chicken pizza is spicily delicious and the tap pale ale suitably refreshing. Great place to hang out on a lazy Sunday afternoon, will be back.
M.
Little Jimmy never fails to deliver with the stylish yet relaxed decor, delicious fare, quality wine selection locally sourced and attentive staff. Its also great to see they are kid friendly with a delicious menu for our wee ones to match. Highly recommend for family dinners, catch ups or date nights
H.
I had a lovely time having dinner with my daughter (8yrs). The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. The food is, as always, delicious and beautifully presented.
P.
Food was lovely, however a sour note was one of our group was brought her wine (had ordered the house wine). When the others in our group recieved their drinks, the waitress returned, said "I think you have got the wrong drink", (which had already not surprisingly been drunk out of), removed it and brought the correct wine.
Presumably it was then thrown out. Clearly it was a more expensive glass than had been ordered, but how rude and mean spirited. It was not handled well by the waitress and it really left a sour note to our evening.
It felt as if she was being punished for the staff error.
A.
First timer at Little Jimmy's last sunday and it was incredible. Food was beautiful, flavour's are insane. The Wine list is great, amazing boutique focus. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable. I am dying to go back again and again. Can't recommend highly enough! AAA+++
R.
Our daughter Jamie (nicknamed Jimmy) was celebrating her birthday so we made a last minute booking. We booked in for 6.30pm and explained to the waitress that unfortunately we needed to be out by 7.30pm as we had something on. The service and meals were amazing. Our group of 5 had mains and desserts. The lamb and pork belly were melt in the mouth. Chicken schnitzel was tender and moist and the goat (small plate) was delish. The whittickers chocolate cheesecake is a must have. Can't wait to go back without the rush next time.
V.
Excellent! Great local for a group. We had the set menu it was tasty and excellent value 😁
h.
The food was good but the service spoilt it. When we entered the person spoke rudely and told us we had only an hour and a half to dine as they need to prepare for dinner patrons (till 4:30pm). It was the way they spoke, not the time limit. Just remember we spent $400 at your restaurant!
D.
Good food, nice atmosphere.
B.
A great neighbourhood eatery, relaxed and comfortable with good food and a simple but well planned drinks menu. Service is friendly and fast and while the menu doesn't change often, it's a great place to drop in for a casual dinner.
B.
Brilliant coffee and food - thank you guys
A.
Had a lovely dinner for Mum's 60th last night. Delicious food, great New Zealand Wine list. Always a pleasure to dine here. Definitely worth a booking; I made a note of the birthday in booking and the hostess wished Mum a HB, and there was a candle with dessert. Didn't feel rushed, will gladly (and definitely) go back.
D.
Recently visited Jimmy's for dinner as a foursome. Enjoyed the adventurousness of the menu offerings and the prompt service.
The pork flavour in the pork belly was hardly discernible. Our dessert was a combination of coconut, chocolate, ginger and pear - delicious although the pear flavour was absent.
A place to return to.

Food was fantastic! We had the pork belly, lamb ribs, curly fries, beef cheek and the chocolate fondant. Pork belly was perfectly juicy with a good think crispy crackling. Lamb ribs were tender with bits of crispy edges. Curly fries stayed crispy throughout dinner. My partner didn't quite enjoy the beef cheeks, it was a little too heavy on the palate and was in need of something tangy to cut through that heaviness. A gripe about this place was the host's odd response to us arriving early for our reservation, despite having many tables unoccupied, we were told we could have a seat at the bar and have a drink to wait, but was immediately ushered to our table as soon as our drinks were served, which was a very quick 5 minutes later.
N.
Great venue, very good booking system and communication, great wait staff, relaxed and friendly manner, 'present' without being too over the top , food and drinks delicious. Felt like it took a while for food to arrive but the restaurant was very busy and it was worth it
D.
Friendly service, great selection of meals and drinks. Highly recommend the beans and chickpeas small plate to share (don't be deceived by the word small!). Off street car parking nearby and is one hour limit but plenty of it.
R.
Great service and delicious food. Prices are higher than where I’m used to dining but when the plates came out I was pleasantly surprised that the portions were generous. Definitely recommended.
L.
Absolutely delicious food, lovely atmosphere, and lovely staff. Visited before the Adele concert with a restaurant full of other concertgoers and my meal still arrived very promptly and in a very timely manner. Upstairs offers a quieter atmosphere while downstairs is more lively.
T.
Had a lovely evening at Little Jimmy's. The food was superb and service excellent. Have been a few times lately and will definitely be going back.
C.
Nice restaurant. A bit overpriced. The pan fried market fish was nice except the beetroot/swede? was a bit of an odd taste for me. I liked their curly fries :)
V.
Lovely, as always! Nice vibe & vino, fabulous food & service A+.
Very surprised to see the review below, our group left with full belly’s & portion sizes generous every visit!
If you’re a Vege, try a mix of smaller plates - cauli, sprouts and the jalapeños! Delish!
M.
My partner and I love this gem of a bar/restaurant in Greenwoods Corner. Perhaps a little TOO much at the moment haha. The staff are so friendly and their pizza's are to die for. Our favourite is the Chicken and jalapeno - got a great little kick to it.
S.
Wonderful food and superb service. Great night out. Fully recommended to anyone wanting a special evening
D.
Cool atmosphere, ok food, however service is a bit falling behind. We decided to have a pizza for takeaway that night, which was told as "takes about 20 minutes". We sat there for about 50 minutes, no water, no service, and I was cool about that coz hey it is fine you only take care of those who have it in there, and I can grab a glass for myself, no worries Jimmy. However, after 50 minutes I just had to ask the staff to check if my order is actually placed. When they brought it, it was very clear that it was ready long ago, and they forgot about it. The pizza was already half cold. Thank god I was hungry so it still tast like 3 stars instead of 1. Hope others get better experience, I used to like this place for real, mate.
A.
Great staff, very friendly and efficient. We had the lamb ribs, gnocchi, and roast chicken salad. Everything was amazing!
L.
We enjoyed our first time at Little Jimmy but found it unsatisfying that nobody there knew why it was called Little Jimmy, or why they had knives and forks with spanner handles! lol However, the food was wonderful. She went for the Goat and rated it highly, and I went for my favourite, Pork Belly and rated it highly also. The shared dessert was brilliant - 'Lemon Cream' with vanilla, purple kumara, pistachio and white chocolate. Unusual, rich and delicious. The Syrah wine was high quality as it should be at $16 per glass and delicious. Next time we want to try the pizza which the next table had as it looked so authentic.
R.
On Sundays, I take out my mother who is managed care, and now and then we lunch at Little Jimmys. She is 90 and has a walker, and I was fortunate to get a convenient park.
The staff were accommodating and “parked” the folded walker whilst we ate. I had a pizza which I enjoyed, Mum had pancakes with fruit and maple syrup, which she liked, but she eats very little now.
Good outcome for me, as one of the usual options is to take her to my place and I cook while the car entertains Mum.
L.
Lovely food, great service and lovely atmosphere. More that happy to return for another excellent dining experience.
d.
I like the atmosphere at little jimmys.the staff are great. Pizzas excellent. Beer is good. But for me the so called platter is probably the meanest in auckland. Not enough on the the plate to satisfy a toddler. The meat itself sliced wafer thin and to be fair had the wind got up a fraction more the meat would have blown off the plate. I will go back again but not for the platter. At 38 dollars its a rip off.
B.
Contemporary environment, delicious mains, great service. Only reason I dropped the last star was both of us felt our desserts didn't deliver as much flavour bang for their visual buck. Would go again though!
T.
Great local selection of food and drink and the staff are friendly and efficient. Would have been 5 stars if the dessert menu was better.
Z.
Amazing food and great staff. We've been for lunch and dinner and both times were top notch. Excited to give brunch a go next time.
Highly recommend Little Jimmy.
Z.
Lamb rib is tender and juicy. Environment is comfortable.
P.
We celebrated a family event here on a Friday night recently and I couldn't fault the food or service.
This is obviously a popular restaurant, and deservedly so.
The lamb rib starters were perfect to share with a teenage boy, large plate, and my nochi main was the best I've had since dining in an Italian mamas kitchen.
Only gripe would be that downstairs it got noisy with the boisterous crowd, probably the glass shop front bouncing the noise of people enjoying themselves around.
J.
Friendly staff and great service. Food was tasty.
Apparently we are going back there again in the near future.
A.
Excellent service and delicious well priced food. Good to see that the food and drink is locally sourced (only a problem if you like 'Canadian Club'. Only minor gripe is that there was no 'change table' in the toilets for the newborn baby in our group. But this didn't detract from an overall positive dining experience.
E.
Food is always tasty, hot and delivered promptly. Staff are attentive and friendly. It's one of my favourite restaurants and I would highly recommend it for a casual or special occasion.
C.
It's totally an amazing place. The decor, service and food is divine.
J.
Great place to go to. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food was excellent and of very high quality. The venue is superb. Variety of food and drink is great - love the sparkling water! Highly recommend.
M.
Very nice, great NZ food and drinks
S.
Nice local restaurant. Good food and wine selection. Had table near window which was nice. Staff attentive and pleasant. Nice place for couples and small groups. Good for Friday drinks.
S.
Delicious dinner and small plates however the dessert selection needs a little bit of improvement with 1 or 2 simple dishes. Espresso wasnt the best but then again most places aren't. Will definitly visit again for lunch or dinner.
M.
I actually felt that the staff wasn’t so friendly. When we entered the restaurant, my aunt went straight to find a table. The staff saw us then went “Come back. Come back.” And said: “You know you don’t just walk in like that? We are a restaurant.” He went up to his laptop and moved around some cells in his spreadsheet, then led us to a table by the door. I really think he could have dealt with this in a much better way. Was a pity, as food was actually quite nice but probably won’t recommend to friends.
C.
Honestly best eating experience I have had in a long time! 100% recommend this place to everyone! Thanks team for your amazing service as well as delicious food! Definitely try the lamb. Yum!!
A.
Depending on when you come, you can either get reasonable or very poor service. I'm a huge fan of One Tree Grill, but i feel this new offering doesn't match up to their standards. The portion sizes are also smaller than you would get elsewhere for the price.
Z.
Decided to try these guys after purchasing the Grab One deal for a 3-course meal.
Great service and value for money! Highly recommend the Potato Gnocchi and the 72% chocolate fondant!! Definitely the 2 highlights of the night for me.
A.
The West Coast Trevally dish was so small and very disappointing for the person who received it because they were looking forward to a 'lunch' sized item. We felt it was overpriced at $18 for what it was i.e. 3 or 4 pieces of raw fish in a dash of coconut and lime juice.
It was our 2nd visit to LJ. We've enjoyed the coffee both times & we like the atmosphere. Will come again, but hope you get a fairer around portion sizes. Cheers
D.
Funky little spot that is actually larger than it looks! Cool concept of exclusively NZ made on the menu. Go somewhere else if you want Champagne but if you want to see/taste why homegrown is best, Little Jimmy showcases it well. Modern easy vibe. Very enjoyable.
E.
Delicious food, great staff. It was quite loud, but to be expected in the space that is being used. Best with a few people to share the platters, and get variety. One of those places where you defiantly have to buy sides.
K.
Excellent service and great food. Has a good atmosphere, really enjoyed my meal, was cooked perfectly.
R.
Ate here with a group of friends and we ordered most of the large plates to share. All were wonderful. I particularly liked the beef cheek. The Epsom Mess was a nice wind up to the meal.
H.
We had such a gr8 time, the food, staff, environment, seating was bang on! Loved our meals and had a ball! Our waitress was a real sweetie!
Thanx team! 😊
H.
Delicious food and fantastic service - can't wait to go back.
Always a pleasure.
V.
Lovely staff clean relaxing. Amazing food. Highly recommend the meat platter as a starter😀
M.
Reasonable local bistro/bar. I won't go back often because the noise level is too high. This needs to be addressed by the owners with some simple noise insulation. A bit pricey for my liking. Does carry craft beers.
J.
Food lived up to its name! Used the voucher and had entrée, main and dessert. Definitely worth the price we paid for. Epsom Mess looks "messy" but tastes great. Desserts' a must have to cap the meal :)
H.
Melt in the mouth lamb rump followed by chocolate fondant. Indulgent and well worth it! Would be 5 stars except it is very noisy and I had to take my hearing aids out to cope with the guys off to the rugby game.
M.
Wow! We are visiting from Chch and googled somewhere nearby to dine and hit the jackpot finding Little Jimmy’s! Super easy to book online. We were welcomed by wonderfully friendly and very attentive staff..... followed by a superb selection of local boutique beverages ..... topped off by a super yummy amazing meal...obviously created by talented chefs. Quality but not pretentious in the slightest. Highly recommend you go here .... if I lived in Auckland this would be my local! We will be back!
N.
All local food and drinks - delicious and great service
T.
As usual food and service was perfect.
Been there 4 times always good
Right up to trying to charge my grab one voucher again. No apology. Just a little gripe on a otherwise perfect experience
D.
WOW. JUST WOW. First time tonight and ordered 5 dishes, EVERYTHING was PERFECTION. I can't recommend enough. If you want an excellent meal, this is the place to go. Oh weare will be coming back 👌
d.
Absolutely delicious food, beautifully presented, good service and nice decor. All the ingredients for a very enjoyable time.
Will definitely be back!
R.
Have been here a number of times for personal and business dinners. Always consistent food and service. Good value for quality cuisine.
M.
Great bar and restaurant. Good food options and choice wine selection. Love the curly fries. Can book online to reserve your table. Awesome local vibe in there.
V.
Great pizza. Would be nice if the manager showed some more flexibility on seating. Several empty tables when we left, but told sorry "I know best I work here " and given the worst table in the corner.
T.
Dropped by a little late for lunch after much skepticism from the wife. Place was buzzing even after 3 pm. Lovely pizza and sauteed Brussels. The only disappointment, the kiwi fruit smash. It didn't give me the flavour it intended because of the ice. But that was negated by the next one: Starka Mule. Good one guys. Keep it up.
A.
Brilliant meals, fantastic and friendly service
A.
Wonderful food & so good to to see so many people out dining on a Tuesday night
D.
Service outstanding. Scrumptious food. Lunchtime so had 1 hour and everything was on time. Thanks will be back. Been 3 times if you want consistency this is the place.
A.
I wanted a casual dining experience with good food and craft beer for our group. I was recommended Littte Jimmy by a collegue. It was perfect!. The food was amazing, service excellent. Beer choice very good.We had a fab night . Thank you.
M.
Friendly staff .loved the refills of sparkling water. very attentive and our shared pizza was delicious.
B.
This was my first visit to my local. I went for lunch and was disappointed not to find anything light and flavoursome on the menu. I had the bacon lettuce and avocado which was a boring choice but croquets and schnitzel.... I don’t think so. I am having lunch there again tomorrow, organised ages ago, not sure what I will order? Hmmmm
D.
First appearance was the Bar Manager who was dressed like the hippie from the movie Hangover he had a rude arogant attitude, and was more interested in playing with the computer screen and commanding the staff than assiting potential clients on arival, there was around 15 clients and it was not busy for a Saturday, food was value and flavoursome, great selection of craft ales recommend the place for a try, if the Bar Manager dosent want to work on the weekend then give him the weekend off, as we the playing public do not have to be used as an emotional punch bag. I gave 3 stars for the food selection of ales and the floor staff. It would of gotten a 5 star if the so called bar manager didn't have his head up his where the sun don't shine.
S.
Excellent food and a professional level of service. Nice and relaxed but still remains well polished. A great spot for a bite to eat before a show at the ASB Showgrounds.
L.
Fabulous service, great food, nice atmosphere. Would certainly recommend. Our party of 4 all enjoyed our lunch. Thanks
D.
Visited this restaurant while I was on a business trip for cancer treatment for patients in New Zealand.
Here comes a good description:
Little Jimmy is a casual, down-to-earth bar and eatery where you can kick back and relax. It’s a genuine local hangout where good food and drink shared with friends is what its all about. There’s nothing pretentious or flashy about what we do, just some great tasting food and drinks on offer.
There’s not a million of everything on our sharing menu, just a short list of uncomplicated dishes where fresh ingredients rather than cuisine style are the hero. The same goes for our drinks too. We don’t try to baffle you with choice, but focus on a selected range of good kiwi only drops.
While you can enjoy all this with just a couple of friends, we do have a special function space if there’s a few more of you.
One of the things that makes us a bit different is that we support the little guy. That means we feed and water you with NZ products sourced from smaller kiwi businesses trying to make their mark. You won’t find any dominant market players here, just an array of food and beverages from a collection of top quality little guys who produce some damn good stuff.
So if you’re after an affordable line up of awesome Kiwi food and drink, all provided in a relaxed environment, come and pull up a chair at Little Jimmy. We look forward to seeing you soon.
J.
Really charming casual bistro with a creative menu. Every ingredient is organic and local. The staff is on top of it too. Had the Bloody Mary and chicken salad and both were amazing.
C.
Try the curly fries, the market fish and finish with a dessert delight. Coffee was excellent. The food is delicious and the service was fantastic. Highly recommend if you're a foodie to try LJ.
M.
A little too hyped. Staff interactions were as scripted as at the petrol station. We got the platter which was OK, nothing special. I'm guessing that standards are usually better. I'll pop in again, with hope as it's terribly popular.
M.
I only have 3 words Delicious delicious delicious
B.
We dine here regularly and are never disappointed. The craft beer selection is excellent, food is always good and the service friendly and efficient.
P.
We visited Little Jimmy with a couple of dinner vouchers. It was a full house on a Sunday. Trevally & lamb ribs (entrées), braised Angus beef cheeks & pork belly (mains), and "Epsom Mess" & dark chocolate fondant (desserts) & a good selection of wine to choose from. Everything was nicely prepared, plated & cooked. The weakest dish was "Epsom Mess," being a bit messy in appearance & in taste. But anyway, it was an enjoyable dinner.
C.
Wonderful meal, good service and pleasant setting. No trouble with dairy free main courses.
S.
Absolutely delicious food and amazing wait staff. Thank you. We will definately be back.
S.
Friendly staff and nice food. Recommend 👍
E.
Nice food and great atmosphere. Some of the wait staff are not as well versed in service etiquette as others. Good kids menu.
K.
Wonderful food and service as always.
E.
This is our go to place when we are in Auckland for the day. Great servings (food and drinks) of NZ sourced products. Service is spot on. Though a busy area we have always found easy parking.
C.
A great corner bar and restaurant with real character. Friendly team, an eclectic range of food available and great choice of wines, beers and spirits. Great atmosphere - well worth a visit.
T.
We often take overseas friends to little Jimmys and each time is does not disappoint. Friendly helpful staff, warm welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. Love it.
B.
Love your pizza's
The sticky date pudding was very nice too!!
P.
Great wine and beer selection. Waiting staff freindly, wish the same was for bar maid! Very discourteous and a little aloof..
N.
Little Jimmy's is well worth visiting - this if not your run of the mill cafe. The expertly designed interior is a perfect compliment to the innovative and professionally crafted array of dishes that slide onto the table in quick succession after you've placed your order. Add to that attentive service, a great wine list, creative cocktail list and a good beer selection and it's not hard to see why Little Jimmy's attracts so many diners from all over Auckland. The restaurant is perfect for couples, families and large groups. There's a dining room upstairs with flexibility for use as a private function room.
Tip - To have a great experience at Little Jimmy's don't just order a dish to yourself - too much of a good thing becomes dull; after all, variety is the spice of life. While Little Jimmy's dishes aren't specifically designed as share platters they do lend themselves well to being shared between 2-4 people depending on the appetites of those you're dining with. Just put all the dishes in the middle and share to turn a meal into an experience.
C.
This place certainly exceeded my expectations. From start to finish. The service was great, the atmosphere was so enjoyable and the food , well I certainly want to come back. Thank you for a great night.
R.
Place has a good ambience and staff were great. Will be back to try their pizza next time.
J.
Great food. Friendly staff. Looking forward to going again.
N.
Cool lil dinning bar. Modern interior and friendly staff. Enjoyed the chicken pizza with pesto and pine nuts. Might come again and try the house wine.
A.
A bit pricey than I rolled have liked but they supposedly support local suppliers. So okay I'll give them that. Lamb ribs was pretty yum
G.
Delicious food for brunch. Portions too small. Very nice venue. Good service and polite helpful wait staff.
J.
Food, drinks, and service here are fantastic. There is space for groups in a cozy area separated from other diners. Will be going here, and greatly appreciate emphasis on having local foods and drinks on the menu.
C.
The best gnocchi I have ever eaten! A lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and an impressive drinks menu.
D.
Great food, service a bit patchy when they're busy. Overall though, great brunch spot! Recommend the lamb ribs.
D.
We’ve visited Little Jimmy many times now, and the food is always great, and the service is good.
It is a little bit pricier, but if you want locally sourced, then that’s to be expected, and is absolutely worth it.
We keep going back because they’re consistently awesome.
A.
Great little cozy place. Love the atmosphere. Food was fantastic. Went there with a small group of friends and had great time. Definitely recommend.
l.
This obviously popular local restaurant exudes care and attention at all levels - room design is cool, stylish without pretension.
Staff are knowledgeable, obviously love working with the Little Jimmy team and "get" just the right attentive note with flawless timing. I found the New Zealand small vineyards wine list interesting - and delicious . Well matched with the promised locally sourced menu offering balance and originality without over engineering the combinations. A selection of starters and entrees then a perfectly cooked lamb rump to share between three food loving friends was a quite perfect dinner in Auckland. An easy
trip by public transport from the cbd - make the effort (but you'll need to book). Leigh Garvan
L.
Great service and always delicious food
E.
Not bad, but we got a bit of attitude from the waitress who kept trying to make us move downstairs so she could clean up, even though there were three other tables still eating.
Probably wouldn’t choose to go back.
L.
Delicious!! We didn't know what to choose so had chefs choice and we were impressed with the quality, yummy-ness and quantity of food.I loved the spiced apple daiquiris and great service too!!
J.
Great convenient place with excellent food and friendly helpful staff. Great selection of beers and wines as well.
T.
Great neighborhood restaurant. Enjoyed family birthday meal. Pork belly was amazing.
M.
I love bringing friends to Little Jimmy - my favourite 'local'! The team are personable and service is excellent, the food is yummy, and the drinks menu suits me perfectly. I'm a regular!
J.
Staff helpful and pleasant. Choices on menu amazing and what I chose was exceptional . The two men in group were also very pleased with their meal , delicious .
T.
Love this place! Staff are always friendly and efficient. Food is delicious and fresh. Perfect place for lunch, work meeting, drinks after work or dinner with family or friends.
J.
Beautiful room. Can get noisy when it's crowded. Food is fast with an emphasis on fresh, locally grown produce, and presented like a five star restaurant. I'll be back.
J.
What a great place with awesome service and lovely good. Try the tarakihi ceviche, more Pacific than Mexican with the coconut milk but really delicious just the same! Great service, no rushing us, which was perfect.
H.
I love this restaurant!!! Food is fabulous, service great and it has a lively fun feel about it. Run, don’t walk here. And they take bookings!
D.
The staffs were so nice and let me to stay there for 3 hours as I locked myself out. Thanks guys. Plus nice coffee
L.
Went there several times with small groups. Love the food there. Nice cozy place with great atmosphere. Usually packed most of the times I have been there.
A.
We are repeat customers of Little Jimmys. They never fail to provide that magical and to be honest rare combination of great service and fabulous food. It’s fantastic that we have such a suberb place on our door step to catch up or celebrate with family and friends
S.

What a wonderful place! The staff are so helpful and friendly and the food is amazing.

Lovely place, all NZ sourced ingredients and alcohol, nice staff. Even pleasant and chatting patrons!
M.
Amazing food, great local products , ideal for those looking to taste kiwi gastronomy. The place has a lovely atmosphere and the staff is very friendly.
R.
Great service, ambiance and food. Portions are just right for me personally.
P.
Where do I start food was delicious, service was great, the vibe warm and friendly, the front of house manager was friendly just made you feel welcome, the price's in my eyes you pay for the experience just my opinion tho, will I tell my friends hell yeah I know I be back at Little Jimmy thank you.
H.
Friendly service and relaxed but with great food. Perfect combo. Good vegetarian choices

Terrific food, great cocktails, sophisticated service. Just avoid the curly fries.
A.
Delicious Food, super quick service and meals came out looking incredible and in what felt like seconds after ordering. Fully mobility accessible restaurant.
J.
Had an awesome experience at Little Jimmy tonight, our waiter was so friendly and sorted me out with a vegan main and dessert despite them not being on the menu. Thank you!
P.
Great food in a busy place .... obviously well supported. Good range of food choice .. for whatever. Personally I find it a bit on the pricy side ... but I keep going 😁
M.
Delicious food and lovely staff! Great spot for a date
M.
Great food and service 👍

C.
Delicious food and great service
S.
We had a big group on a busy night, the food, service and staff were great. We will be back
A.
Great place for a catch up but they do not have any bar snacks?!
Wasabi peas. Pretzels. Nuts.
Anything would be better than fries, which was all they had on offer...
D.
Great food and service. Definitely will come back for a breakfast service maybe?
L.
Lunch was very good. I was advised that the trevally was raw so I didnt have it My only complaint and that was very minor was that I was given some bubbly water and had to ask for proper water. Lunch was delicious.
E.
The food was well presented and very tasty and fresh. The staff were very friendly and efficient
Y.
Really good food. Was quite busy. Service was good but a bit of a wait for the first course.
J.
Brilliant service, brilliant food, great atmosphere. Rolled out as ate far too much!! Definitely going again!!
A.
Great food, great service... One of our favorite places to have date night
P.
Lovely place, good food and wine, but didn't like the push for a tip when I was about to pay! Might have otherwise! Mmm, Little Jimmy perhaps you need to review your tactics on this one!
N.
Stopped in for coffee. Place was a bit cold and coffee was just okay. My wife said that there was too much froth on the flat white.
M.
Good Place, great service.
S.
Great service and food. On same par as iconic big brother One Tree Grill but much more casual.
R.
Great spot, nice atmosphere, good wine list, excellent and friendly service, good but pretty limited menu.
D.
Really enjoyed the meal at little Jimmy's, great food and service, recommend. Trendy.
E.
Excellent food, great service! will definitely be back
S.
Always a great experience at Little Jimmy's - we had great food and drinks, but more importantly great service by the team. Great attention to detail - well done!
