Stoked to discover another location! The same great fries & burgers as other lord of the fries locations. As always, excellent vegan food and fast service. Always a fan of the classic or chunky fries here. Burgers are out of this world. Open for business during covid alert level 3 to my delight.

I didnt even know the place was vegan. Just ordered a burger and fries, pretty good. Glad I tried it and I'll be back again. The Parma burger's got a good texture and they aced the fries

This is our favorite vegan carry out in Auckland! They have a large variety of options on their menu including burgers, hot dogs, tacos, corn dogs, breakfast sandwiches and hash browns, vegan ice cream and shakes, vegan chicken and fish, and, of course, four options for fries (including sweet potato fries) and their multiple famous sauces. There are 3 sizes available for fries, too, depending on how hungry you are. We loved our shoestring fries with the French Canadian sauce! It was like a vegan poutine! I had a Chicago hot dog, that was very delicious, and my wife had the vegan fish sandwich, which was crispy and tasty. The service was prompt and friendly. Everything is made to order, so we had to wait about 10 minutes for our meal, but it was worth it since everything was hot and delicious! They have very reasonable prices, too. They have a few outdoor seats on the sidewalk, but plenty of covered indoor seating in the adjacent Snickel Lane food court area. Just be sure not to miss a great vegan meal at this place when you are in downtown Auckland!

Yes its vegan! Yes its fast food. Yes its delicious. The customer service is great. The food is often great too. My only problem with Lord of the Fries are the prices, they are quite expensive. I do enjoy the mini burgers though and I think that's a good option. However, the fries are not the best in town. For an establishment called Lord of the Fries, you would expect amazing fries. The portions for fries are large so that's nice, a kid size is probably sufficient for one serving. LOTFNZ could improve by reducing the total price of a product if youre out of stock of something. I think it'd be a great addition and I don't see why customers should have to pay full price if they're not getting the full product. The best items at LOTF that I would recommend are; the milk shakes (they are amazing) and the double chocolate cookies (these are also amazing). My favourite burger is the mini phish burger, and my favourite muffin the bacon and egg muffin. I think Lord of the Fries is a good fast food place for hungry vegans that are craving junk food, or carnists that want to try meat alternatives. 💜

Excellent, love that the food is all vegetarian. Staff had quick and friendly service. Had both a hotdog and a Burger. They were cooked and seasoned very well. Place was super busy however there is lots of seating if you do intend to have a sit down meal. Presentation slightly lacking but the taste made up for it. Would definitely go again.

I'm torn between one of those ratings where it was as decent as expected, but not one that made me fully satisfied. I liked the menu look of the chicken nuggets and mainly wanted fries, however for the classic fries I was hoping for ones that still tasted a little more natural (in texture and in look). More so I was disappointed to find out that BBQ sauce costs $1.50. There's also not even a stool inside to sit so you have to wait around for your order and go find a bench down the street if you want to eat right away.

So nice to go somewhere and the entire menu is vegan friendly. Food was really good and non greasy. Good portion sizes and friendly staff as well. Favourite was the sweet potato fries! Eat out front or inside Snickel Lane.

Great food at really reasonable prices. The double choc chunk cookie was rather lacking in choc chunks, but it was still tasty. Staff are always friendly. Limited seating during busy periods which is unfortunate for those who want to stay. Huge range of vegan choices.

Everything I tried was amazing. From the chicken parm to the tijuana hotdog to the chips and a special appearance by moustache double choc cookie. So good. Worth visiting if you're in the area. Perfect snack food and was ready so quickly. So much choice. Good value for money.

Whilst there's plenty of options, just because it's vegan doesn't mean it's healthy☺. Got a combo deal - small burger, fries and a drink for $14. Huge amount of fries. Parma burger was ok, not great. Was a bit disappointed as I'd been pretty excited about coming here. Value for money was good. Shares outdoor seating with a brew place. I didn't have to wait too long even though it was busy. Saying all that I probably would go back and try something purely because there are lots of options

Always the most delicious fries and burgers - try the Lot with the Beyond patty or the shoestring fries with Parisian sauce, you won’t regret it! The biodegradable packaging is so wonderful and definitely a big reason why we keep coming back. One suggestion would be to ensure all staff are informed with the latest additions to the menu as a few times I have asked about a new patty and they had no idea, even if it was to be released the vey next day. Other than that, I love Snickle Lane and the communal environment it creates - really lovely establishment with delicious vegan food.

I came here for the lure of fries but the real winner here was the veggie burger. The fries were ok. Nothing special. I added the aioli sauce and it was bland. Also too expensive for what you get. The burger was really good though and I'd come back for that.

We found the other Lord of the Fries closer to CBD - the other we know is at Karagahape Road (K-Road). Really awesome place! Had such a good meal and it was incredibly cheap for the quality you get. Highly recommend. The burgers are just okay though, at least to my meat eating tastes but that's not their fault.

Great place for a vegan junk food fix, the original burger was awesome. Service was fast and efficient. My partner has tried the one on K road and was not keen to have again as found it greasy and poorly assembled. This one has restored her faith in Lord of the fries as a junk fix.

Perfect for a fast food craving that is vegan/vegetarian, at a very convenient location. This place doesn't look like it sells vegan/vegetarian food but it sure does. The location is very convenient, close to the train station and is open till very late There is also a seating area (snickel lane) which hands down gives the best vibes. Food can be a bit pricey for 'fast food' but the portions are larger than normal and is overall delicious. Worth a try regardless of your diet.

I order here constantly. They stock beyond meat and it's absolutely incredible!(would not recommend if you are vego because you don't like the taste or texture that mimics meat). Their burgers are delicious, I've tried almost all of them. So awesome they stay open late. I just wish there was more of them in NZ!!!

Great. My first meal at Lord of the Fries was EPIC. The burger delicious, Vietnam sauce was perfect but the most amazing was the kumara chips . Best I ever eaten. I finished off with a vegan smoothie. Could not stop drawing on that straw. It was SO GOOD! Definitely recommend this cool spot to everyone, not just the vegans.

I am so in love with this place. Looking at the outside, you wouldn’t think this place is all vegan, as it looks like a normal burger joint. As a vegetarian I still get cravings for chicken, and the nuggets and “chicken” box are so good I was surprised when I first took a bite, I thought it really was chicken. Amazing place!!

The first vegan fast food alternative I tried and I liked it! The kumara fries are amazing and the chicken burger actually has the texture of real chicken. The taste is good but it still gives you the same "fast food" feeling like McDonalds. I prefer a good homemade burger, but this is definitely worth a try!

Food is great - expensive, yes, but pretty good! I had previously given this branch 5 stars but I have removed two stars because the last couple of times I've been, I've seen the chefs preparing food without putting on gloves or washing their hands. Also, on my most recent trip I ordered online but they did not even cook my meal UNTIL I arrived and asked for it, despite having paid for it and them not having any other customers (which kinda defeats the purpose of ordering online). Despite my concerns about the hygiene, I will continue to eat here because the food is so good that I wouldn't be entirely mad if I got sick! 😅

LoTF is brilliant. We need far more restaurants caring about the future of our planet, just like Lord of the Fries does. They produce exceptionally tasty vegan snacks and fast food that you wouldn't even know is vegan. I hope to see many more LoTF's around New Zealand in the not too distant future. They have come a long way in the last few years and are constantly refining their offerings. Staff seem much more pleasant to deal with than your average fast food outlet, maybe they're paid better? Who knows! But it's great :D

Have been four times since opening, loved it every time. They had a few hurdles at first with being super busy (ran out of menu items, long lines) but they seem to have worked these out. I love the Chick'n burger and shoestring fries with Parisian sauce. Definitely my favourite vegan takeaway joint in Auckland.

Solid place to grab vegan burgers and hot dogs. The burgers can be a little on the dry side but are really good. Ask for some extra sauce. The vegan hot dogs are really good. You can ask to make it vegetarian but the dishes are vegan by default.

I actually like the food, but I can't order it at this branch because the boom-boom doof-doof is so loud I can't approach the counter. Why does the noise level have to be loud enough to strip paint? None of the staff were wearing ear protection as far as I could see, so they risk permanent deafness working every day in that environment. An organisation that prides itself on being vegan and ethical should take better care of the health and safety of its staff and customers.

Took my vegan brother and sister in law her. I got the mixed snack pack and it was sooo good. I upgraded to kumara fries and you get so many. The amount of sauce was real good as well. My brother got the bacon and egg muffin and freaked out when he tried the egg, and made me try to check it definitely wasn't real egg. it was so authentic.

(Translated) L.o.t.F. is located just outside the port and is actually "only" a container. Standing tables and chairs under parasols are in front of the container. Right next to the fries and burgerschmiede is a small bar that shares the seating area with the fries container. There are different burgers in large and small on the menu. Although small is also small here. There are also different fries to choose from, but I took the original ones (put a little bowl on them). The fries were really top notch but the chicken burger with bacon was rather greasy. Ambiente fries were great and the burger pulls the rating down a bit here. At the price, however, you can not make waves. (Original) L.o.t.F. liegt kurz vorm Hafen und ist eigentlich "nur" ein Container. Vor dem Container sind Steh-Tische und Stühle unter Sonnenschirmen. Direkt neben der Fritten und Burgerschmiede ist eine kleine Bar die sich zusammen mit den Fritten-Container den Sitzbereich teilt. Auf der Karte gibt es unterschiedliche Burger in groß und klein. Wobei hier klein auch klein ist. Pommes gibt es ebenfalls unterschiedliche zur Auswahl wobei ich die originalen (etwas Schale drann) genommen. Die Pommes waren echt 1A wobei der Chicken Burger mit Bacon eher schmierig daher kam. Ambiente Pommes waren Spitze und der Burger zieht hier die Bewertung etwas herunter. Bei dem Preis jedoch kann man auch keine Wellen schlagen.
