Probably the best Maccas I had in ages. Everything freshly made, tidily packed. Fries were just right not too much seasoning. Chicken nuggets were crisp non-oily. McChicken was so neat with fresh lettuce 😋

Pretty good execution here, I always know what I get will be hot and fresh, but I'm a bit suspect about how often the soft serve machine (I. E. Cones, shakes etc) is broken. Always remember that YT video from the former McD employee who said the machine is rarely actually broken, more often it been turned off early for cleaning, or needs to be cleaned or user-serviced and they either don't have time or don't want to. These machines are a nightmare to clean I get it but I now never know if I can actually have that shake. Perhaps I just always pick the wrong time!

Great food for a Maccas but suuuper slow drive thru and the playground is pretty dirty/grimey/sticky. Awesome spot to grab some pancakes and take them down to the beach for breakfast!

Good attention was paid to the food preparation and freshness at Orewa McDonald's. The seever even double checked at the window he hadn't missed an item in error. Tasted much more delicious than our local McDonald's!

Warkworth Maccas is usually our go to fast food place if we are rushed for time and we have never had to complain before except for yesterday and the time before when the customer service was appalling. The chips were cold, we ordered large combos and were given medium combos, when we complained we said just to give us chips as compensation, the manager on duty said then we would have to pay for them! We wouldn't be compensated and that we were keeping the que of cars behind us up... Very disappointing to say the least! Overall though it is generally a good place and the food is always fresh and hot.

Just easy and a good place to stop on my way home for Zoom/Teams meetings. I did have issues with trying to scan my app codes on the self serve kiosks which was annoying but easily fixed. Other than that it was clean and tidy and the service was quick and efficient.

I was impressed with the good quality food with reasonable service considering that it was understaffed and had about 20 college students waiting for orders. The guy serving everyone seemed to be in control of the situation and was very helpful and knowledgeable. I quite like that there is a quiet place to hang there and lots of tables. Just dont go there between 3 and 4 if you want to avoid the large crowd of kids who like to hang there.

Great customer service and a very family friendly environment. You can tell this franchise really tries with all their heart to be the best they can be. Always clean and presentable. If you want fresh food they're happy to do it and explain it takes longer- 10/10 : - )

Mcflurry was off or machine not cleaned. Consistently have had bad food from here. Won't go again.... EDIT: have been back several times since for food and is almost always great. Store could use a proper regular clean though, it's never clean.

I went to Maccas with a friend, to catch up by claiming one of their app deals. Having to order on the remote station was a pain in the neck! It took 3 times as long to do, & we both felt their ordering system isn’t set up well enough to handle in app deals yet.

The food was served fairly quickly after we used the self service ordering and we received our food after having our number called without any staff even talking to us. Surely there must be some level of customer experience that McD wants one to have; or is it just about the numbers?

But I've experienced horrible wait times when ordering here, it seems strange that cars are often left to line up in the drive thru instead of being placed in the waiting bays, when clearly theres a large order that's taking a long time. I, on behalf of the teen population of Orewa, would like to apologise to the poor McDonalds staff. Many people my age go to this restaurant to get food in the afternoons, after school. They are mainly rude, busily, and the place gets so full that nobody can really move in the waiting section. I would also like to thank the staff for handling them so well, and keeping a cool, calm, and collected manner during these peak times. I never go after school, due to feeling embarrassed by my fellow pupils. I definitely enjoy my visits in other times :)

Went through Orewa McKeesport for Ceasar Chicken Wraps which were nice but someone needs to learn the art of wrap-folding to ensure customers enjoyment. They weren't wrapped well and tend to fall apart quickly.

I went with my family for a takeaway meal. No problems with the food but car parking was a hassle man. First 2 rows of parking near the building seem to be squeezed together. Don't know how they designed the car parks. They didn't seem to be wide enough. They would be okay for small cars & hatchbacks but luckily for me I found 1 near the main road (3rd row of car parks) - not squeezed!

Staff was friendly and there was good service. Very little wait for food. The kids enjoyed the playground and the glass walls are fairly sound proof so the noise isn't a problem. The food served was as it should be and the store was clean and had a modern feel for mcds.

A clean McDonald's with good clean toilets the day I visited. Wifi is fast and theres a few options of where to sit. Staff on the morning I visited where a little slow as them seemed to be putting most of their attention into the drive through. Manger was super friendly though and wished me a great day as I was leaving which was an unexpected gesture.

I have just experienced community goodness at its best from Orewa McDonald's. My Nan who is 98yrs old returned home from North-shore hospital yesterday. The doctors told her she needs to eat. I spoke with her yesterday and she said she doesn't want to eat as she has lost her appetite. Nan loves cheeseburgers and for years we have been enjoying them together. She is too frail to go to the McD in Orewa now but I often pick her one up. Under the current Level 3 restrictions I am not able to do this. I put a message on the Orewa McD Facebook page. The owner responded and said they wanted to help. In true community spirit she arranged for one of her team to deliver cheeseburgers to Nan for lunch today ...thank you McDonald's Orewa, you have no idea how much this kind gesture means to me and my family. Xx

Generally good, but sometimes very busy. This time had to wait for apple pies, but had received rest of order. That got cold while we waited, and had to chase up on the apple pies as I think they had forgotten.

This is a great place for all people old, young or somewhere in between. There is a playroom for children, which is sometimes clean, and the option of eating in or taking away. Barista coffee is available, and all day breakfast for the confused. For a more sophisticated feed, there is a selection of gourmet burgers, and for the special diets there is a vegetarian burger. A decent meal can cost from around $6.00 to $30.00 per head, depending on appetite and deals.

If McDonalds could make a "beachy" store then I guess this is pretty close. It has a nice enclosed area with big opening windows, providing what I can only describe as an outdoor feeling inside. The store offers a drive through, and lots of car parks for those that prefer to "dine in" or simply go inside to pick what they want. The store has a modern feeling to it. And of course, it has all the favourites you would expect from a McDonalds.
