Mithaiwala is one of the best places in Auckland I have ever been for Indian Snacks. It’s not far from the city and always serves with best quality food. I would definetly recommend trying their Chole Bhatura, Samosa chaat and ofcourse the new addition to the menu, Daal bati.

Food taste very good in this restaurant. Prices are very affordable. I highly recommend this place for vegetarian lovers. Rajasthan food culture makes me feel very welcome in this restaurant. The combination of mitaitali with garlic nan taste awesome.

This place is a little gem. Very reasonable prices, generous portions, tasty spicy Indian food, snappy service, right in the middle of k Road, we'll definitely be coming back. Staff are very friendly too and very accommodating. Extra improvement points if they start putting out cold water or keep it in a fridge.

Very nice place for takeaway. Enjoyed the channa bhatura and pav bhaji from here multiple times. For people living in North Shore I couldn’t find a place to have channa bhatura elsewhere. Only issue is parking is a bit hard to find. Wish I could order via Uber Ears instead.

Most authentic Indian food I've eaten in auckland. The food is simply delicious and super affordable. Weather you choose to dine in or even decide to get take out, food tastes super fresh. It's prices are really great for the quantity they serve and always puts me in a food coma right after which I don't regret. The service is pretty fast as well and the place is well maintained. If you're looking for a quick bite and nothing too fancy then this is your place

Loved the Indian food, value for money, good size portion, thoroughly enjoyed the taste and the food. Will surely go back for more. Screen also plays latest Bollywood songs - adds to the ambience 👍👍

We got 2 Medium Thali with 2 Naan and 3 Currys and Rice. The Naan was fresh, the curries however tasted bland, salty and like they had been sitting in a warmer all day. We waited for about 15 minutes for our food to arrive and for it to be Luke warm was disappointing. Would not return unfortunately.

We come here for the First time, It’s the finest little spot with amazing food. The service we received was so amazing, and the prices are also very reasonable. We will definitely be back again. I love Mithaiwala Indian cuisine, friends and family are always welcome here! Always enjoy the rich indian culture that this lovely restaurant has bestowed in its walls. Without a doubt butter Paneer and garlic naan is always the way to go!!!!

OMG. what a test. Every single dish has another festival. If work colleagues didnt take there I never know. I have to say, I wasnt sure its a good choice to eat in there or not. I start wiping everything. Cutlery, table, water bottle ( I am not saying they were dirty, its me after covid) but hey , we are talking about food. It was divine. I am not fan of indian food, this place will be one of my favorite. Good work guys.

Best Indian just down the road from the office. Their lunch time special is perfectly priced and hits the spot every time. Staff are also very friendly and welcoming. Mango lassi is on point too. Enough said go eat there :)

This place is pretty delicious. Nice mix of south and north Indian, chaat, sweets, indo Chinese. Dahi puri was lit. Very inexpensive as well. You can easily fill yourself up with a $9 meal.

Guys pls do give few paneer pieces in a Kadhai paneer dish rather than one small piece and then other stuff like capsicum and onions. The whole point of this dish is to taste the paneer and not onions and capsicums. Also, suggestion is to talk about Thali when people like me are wondering what to buy. Please check food temp on your tray as the rice and Kadhai paneer felt warm as opposed to hot.

I have been there in 2018 and hand on heart, I have never tasted such delicious Indian cuisine, like ever in my entire life. Being a vegetarian Indian, I’d say this place is a must must try. The ambiance will leave you in awe.

My favourite on the go Indian vegetarian place in the central city. Yummy food at a very affordable price. Only $9.50 for the mini thali. Great selection of delicious sweets (Mithaiwala means sweet seller). Warm friendly staff.

Great food, great service. I ordered a paneer parata and it came out perfect. Fast efficient and fresh. Finding parking isn't that paink but if youre walking in, its one of the better places in auckland. Even in a rush theres not much wait and variety of delicious and mouthwatering dishes.

Food is very affordable compare to other Indian restaurants they have changed CBD staff and food is getting better I like Mithai Thali with your choice of curries. I prefer take away though. It's recommended for busy workers or students at reasonable price.

Happy to have found this spot as I've been looking for a good central city place that sells Pav Bahji (spicy mashed up vegetables with butter toasted bread rolls) for ages! Nice sweet section out the front also. Also does Thali which I must try next time.

A smaller outlet shop of the Mt Albert road Mithai Restaurant. They stock all major sweets and have a decent dine in eatery as well. The specials and the thalis are good and at par with the main restaurant. Sweets are well prepared. Demand can be high in the festive season though and pre-booking helps. Staff is nice and friendly. Parking can be an issue on the busy K road. Highly recommended.
