Highly recommend. The dishes we had (lamb) were delicious. The lamb was so tender, and the sauces were spot on. Also feel good supporting local. Ordering tonight!

Delicious food - our local, and a growing favourite! Paneer curries and samosas are particularly tasty. Always fresh, with spice levels accurate to our order. Service is lovely and the online ordering system is reliable. Great in level 3 too.

I discovered this place by accident and it's now my favorite Indian Restaurant in Auckland! Service is fabulous, prices are good and food is so tasty !!!! Samosas are perfectly cooked without being oily at all! Many amazing vegetarian dishes also! Go and give it a try ! It's really worth it ! 💕🙏🏽

We celebrated our son birthday Last night in Namaste Restaurant I invited my family friends! we were 20 peoples everyone loved delicious & authentic food. Reception and all service staff were very helpful and cordial! We will back next year! I’ll be sure to let you know in advance before we come again for delicious food . The best Indian Restaurant I have been to in Auckland. The Cuisine was super with a well laid out menu. The service was a little slow but very pleasent and accomodating. I have now been too this restaurant twice in the past two weeks. I recommend them!

Delicious Indian food, friendly and very attentive service, a great menu that has many other dishes aside from your general Indian. We really loved the food here and we will absolutely come back, my new favourite Indian kai in Auckland :)

It was great! The food, good portions, good stuff in the menu, the place is very neat and service is friendly and quite fast. I had the prawns masala with garlic naan and it was really good. We will totally go back 👌🏽 Updated 25/5/2021 The butter chicken is absolutely the best, I also recommend 100% the vegetarian platter with samosas. I didn't like samosas until I tried the ones at Namaste. Amazing stuff! I keep coming with my partner and my best friend, it's my fav indian restaurant around the area. And Puja, the waitress, is such a lovely girl 😁

I have been here for our work party, I have to admit a small place but great food and service. The front staff had smily faces. We ordered a lots food for 20 people and everything was just amazing. Fell in love with Dal Makhni though. Will sure recommend to all my friends and come back again. :)

Incredible authentic Indian food, vegan vegetarian dishes are divine. Try the eggplant curry..keep coming back. Wait staff are really friendly and professional and food is reasonable price 😁

Went here with my partner for a date night. Service was amazing with a waiter that knows his trade. Decent serving sizes for entrees and very taste. Main i ordered something from there indochinese menu which was a tad on the salty side for me but my partner who ordered a chicken curry loved both dishes. Ordered there version of hot and walked away so must have been just right for him. (No issues the next day either 😅). Kept or glasses full and always checking if everything was going well. Lovely small place for a date.we definitely will be coming back to try more and would recommend this as a lovely place to go for a date or just a dinner out !!

Came here for our last night in Auckland after a two week holiday in NZ. Best Indian cuisine I have ever had. Lamb korma was beautiful. Staff were very helpful and pleasant and it was so cheap for the quality of food on offer! BYO too which is nice. If this restaurant was in my home town in Melbourne, I would come all the time. Highly recommended.

Namaste; Indian restaurant @ Mount Eden I was famished so dropped by for a quick bite and as usual requested a table for one. I was greeted by a young gentleman named, Abhinav. I can’t remember the last time I had such excellent service, I am sure I did, but lets just say Abhinav is up there. I have been to restaurants where the service is top notch professional and attentive but I am talking about a little extra, extra care, extra attention, a perfect hybrid of professional yet familiar, like being welcomed by a family member. He looked after few most clients after me with the same care. This young man has the knack for it. I can’t seem to quite put my finger on it but I walked away feeling cared for, that, I mattered as a customer. Thank you for making my day, Abhinav. Service 5 star Food 4 star; Even tho the dish was yummy it didn’t taste like Baigan Bartha, meaning, It didn’t have the key signature smokey eggplant taste. The dish was delicious but the fact remains it didn’t taste like THE Baigan Bartha. Perfectly cooked rice. Nice ambience with 90’s Bollywood music, very nostalgic. Clean restrooms 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Sorry, no photos, ate it up too fast 😆

. (06/2017) Visited after a long time. Last time we were here, it was known as Simla Indian Cafe & Takeaway and we had a memorable experience. We were happy to notice that despite the change in management and ownership, the deliciousness in food, amazing ambiance and the service standards were well maintained. Very nice surroundings. Had eaten before getting there but ate a little of what l ordered and took it away for laters. Couldn't do enough for us. Would recommend to anyone into indian food.

Never disappointed from this place, always amazing food and also haves great ambience! Moreover, I have been a regular customer as well. But got no naan bread with a lunch meal pack today, not even informed about its not been cooked by the staff before, paid for it and surprised after looking at the food later. Please do inform your customers prior about such things.

This place is amazing!! My family and I are visiting NZ from the USA and we stopped by here on a whim to sample the Indian food. Everything tasted excellent. The spice levels are extremely mild (which is perfect!!). Everything is fresh. The saag paneer tasted amazing because it's made fresh. Highly recommended.

Best Indian I think I've ever had! And the service alone was five star worthy. Tried the butter chicken and vegie korma in the $12 deal they have most days. You get a generous serving of naan, pappadams and rice with your curry. Enough to split between two, just get an extra serving of naan. The best!

Went in last weekend and ended up being unhappy because my meals were too spicy to eat. I called up and they said when I was next in they would replace it for me. Got my replacements tonight and they where amazing. Was delicious !! We were so pleased with our meals will 100% be back! Thank you!

While the chef made amazing food, the book me description of what you can get for the voucher is all skewed. First of all the book me says from menu above and the platter entree was not included as the waiter informed me..in the book me voucher it says includes ..It says Non alcoholic drink and I asked for an orange juice and they said sorry only sodas note there is no mention of this in voucher and as long as I was concerned orange juice is non alcoholic. The fish is not included in the main.. According to the waitress who totally disregards the voucher..But the voucher says fish madras is included I mean why would you say you are giving this on the voucher and when you turn up give you a completely new set of menu to choose from???

Namaste provides some of the best Indian food I've tried in Auckland - it's definitely the best choice for Indian in the Village! Particularly recommend the Malabari (fish curry). The butter naan was exceptional also.The decor is beautiful and the staff were so lovely. I'll definitely be back.

Namaste is the number one indian restaurant to go for authentic Indian food! lamb roganjosh had a depth and breadth of flavor that I have not had at other places locally..The service has always been very attentive whenever we've been there. we've always left full and very satisfied with such great sevice.

It's a beautiful place with great ambition. Indian food is one of best here. Its food is just amazing and you keep licking your finger but you wont get satisfied here. Its daal makhni , Malai Kofta, Paneer Tikka - these are some of its mouth watering varieties you will love like anything. I'm really impressed by both the quantity and quality. worth a visit guys!!!! I've been here a handful of times and each and every time I've been left astounded at how good everything is. Reasonable prices, incredibly friendly staff and delicious food. Also, ask for cheese and garlic naan, you won't be disappointed.
