Restaurant is very clean and spacious. Staffs are very friendly. And the food is amazing. Definitely one of the best restaurants for Indian food. Prawn chilli is amazing. And I loved chicken Biryani. Very well impressed by the food.

Quick on their toes Service: good pace let's you enjoy the company and time at the restaurant. Seating: lot of options from table for 2 to table of 24. Indoor seating only. Reservations: appreciated and required to avoid waiting time Food quality: fresh and tasty. Made as per customers requirements. All menu items are tasty too. Value for money: yes and good place to hangout with mates and family. Washrooms: Yes - most Men and Women - clean Overall experienc: Good food, quick service...

Food was good. Service was fast. The place is spacious n clean. Friends and I enjoyed a greatbnoght out. You can bring your own wine too..

This was our first meal in here and butter chicken was too sweet for us and chicken madras was really nice and hot. Toilet was mess and please do something.

Nice resto with a nice setup. The place to go when you miss India spice. The resto is clean and spacious. The first visit was just nice and had a great experience. Service is good, waiting time is okay. Ordered the platter as an entree and it was delicious. Had sagwalla, vegy curry, naan and chicken tikka with rice. All just great and taste great. Overall very satisfactory. Recommended and will come back.

Not too bad for my first meal, plus delivery was cheaper and no extra charge for rice like some other rubbish Indian restaurants eg Shahi Dawat.

Punjabi Kitchen brought out the adventurous foodie in me! Usually I just order butter chicken or tikka masala. BUT I tried others like lamb saagwala & other masala... - it was great surprise! The servings is big and worth it for the price. Plus! Staffs are friendly. 👍👍💯

Great food, friendly service and a nice vibe to the restaurant. I had the fenugreek special curry and it was full of flavour, however it was mild when I had asked for a medium. The chicken was fresh and the cheesy garlic naan could have used more garlic but it was very cheesy and delicious 😋. The major setback from me giving this place 5 stars and it's a common occurrence in Indian restaurants is they make you share a bowl of rice with your friends. This is a big no for me. My friends are big islanders and you guys are trying to start a fight messing around with a small bowl of rice. You don't have to be stingy with the rice when the dishes are close to 20 dollars each, come on guys. Delicious food though... Just fix the rice

We went to Punjabi Kitchen on Saturday for a friends sons birthday party. So the review is based on my experience at this event. The restaurant was booked out for the party. 1) the service was fantastic 2) the Food was amazing. there were 4 starters, panner chilly, harabara kebab, chicken malai, seekh kebab, all of which were amazing. for the mains we had Malai kofta, Paneer masala, Tawa Chicken and Goat Curry, with salad, butter naan and gulab jamun. All the mains were amazing too. Good first experience and will definitely be back.

We've eaten lunch here twice. Good value meal for under $15. Large comfortable restaurant with good seating, can handle large groups with ease.

One of the best Indian restaurants out west. I've been there more than 10 times and food is delicious no matter what I order. Fair warning though, spice levels are not the same as you would find at Spice Traders in the mall, it's a good deal hotter.

Been here on numerous occasions. The food is consistently excellent. Have not had an unsatisfactory meal yet. It all tastes like it is homemade and freshly prepared. Great service and nice surroundings. Will be having my birthday there. A+++

We usually go to Punjabi kitchen for dinner...the food is always absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. Menu is perfect, something for everyone. Service is awesome, Highly recommended.

Staff good was able to take my Husband's 60th Birthday cake there before our booking that day. There was around 18--20 adults & few children yes they do cater for children ours where 3--7yrs of age. Didn't have to wait to long for starters & mains, then they brought b/day cake out to the table very helpful. First time going there normally ring through for takeaway oh & there is B Y O only on wine, very pleased.

great food again and good value for money. only downer was when i asked to take my leftover curry home, instead of taking it away and someone putting it in a container for me, the waiter slung a carton and a plastic bag on my table for me to do it my self. was not impressed with that

Ordered on UberEats but great quality curries, Naan and Tandoori chicken. Have ordered from here multiple times and its always fast, hot and as ordered. Could be a bit cheaper overall.

Good Indian food. Quite like their dry chilly chicken dish. If you like spicy they can make it tour liking. Service is good and you can do take away as well.

Starters were reasonably good, although small portion sizes. For the main course I ordered my dish super hot, it had no spice whatsoever and was very bland. The lamb was a bit fatty, the sauce oily, no heat to it and no depth of flavour. Not the worst I've had in NZ but far from a good one, average is the best I can say. However, I've eaten curries all over the world, some prepared by chefs who have catered for the PM of India, so I do have high standards. I would try again one more time and if that is the same quality I will avoid this place.
