Me and my friends decided to eat some good indian desi food. So we ordered from raviz. I don't know why sometimes their curry dishes are sooo tasty but sometimes their curry dishes are like watery and taste less and filled with color. Don't know why it happens like that. We have tried butter chicken, Goat biryani, naan and Chicken tikka, Beef vindaloo, half Chicken Tikka and half chicken malai kebab. Gravy dishes quantity should be increased. Staff was very friendly and helpful. But dine-in is bit expensive. They serve halal. Thank you.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. My go to place whenever I feel home sick (basically every day). They staff remembers my name which makes the experience more personal.

A good taste of Indian Cousin. The quality is good but a bit expensive compared to other restaurants. The good thing they have lunch menu during the week which is 15.99. It comes with Rice, your choice and bread.

One of the best indian restaurants in New Zealand. This is an extremely affordable restaurant with amazing bursts of flavour. Raviz really brings out the Culture of India with their food. The service needs a bit of improvement but the food compensated for that nicely. The paintings on the walls are beautiful and they bring a nice homely ambience to the place. Honestly, the only negative reviews are from Indians. I highly suggest for everyone to have a taste!

Food is amazing, enjoy it every time I dine in or takeaway. Customer service is alright, I feel like staff members could be more attentive to their tables, but other than that I think they’re all super friendly. They’ve got a nice selection of wines which taste and smell amazing 🤤

Craving for butter chicken one weekend and was so glad to have discovered Raviz through Menulog and I’m so glad we did as it’s quite good! Alongside the butter chicken, also ordered squid pakoras and cheese naan. Everything was amazing! Serving size is also generous that we still had some leftover for the next day. Only paid $17 for everything because of the discount from the restaurant plus Menulog. Will definitely order here again! 👍

Craving Indian takeaway, we found this place through Menulog. The menu was extensive with curries of all kinds - vege, beef, chicken, lamb and street eats. All curries come with rice, and they offer lunch deals too though we got in too late for that. Having said that, the prices are reasonable and the portions are sufficient. When we went to pick up, I was surprised that the restaurant was bigger and better dressed than anticipated. Onto the curries - lots of flavour and spice. Delicious. The paneer makhani was tangy, creamy and rich. The chicken mughlai was nutty and flavorful. I’m glad we shared both curries, as having an entire meal of only one curry would have been too much! The garlic naan had generous lashings of garlic. It was ok, nothing to write home about. Will be back to try the other curries.

Service was great 5/5 stars. We were not the easiest bunch to handle at 11 at night after drinking a little & it’s level 3. They are so worth the buck with the flavours that bangin!!! Lassi: 5/5 in flavour!!! Flavours of curry: butter chicken: 4/5 and tikka handi was: 5/5!!! Loved it! Can’t believe we didn’t come here sooner. So worth it!

Good but over the time the other Indian restaurants have caught up and maybe doing better then Raviz. Raviz need to take advantage of their location and get back in the game if they need to exceed in the market.

Great Indian food, although there are many issues with staff. I have been ordering a Raviz for awhile now and their isn’t one time we’re my order is completely right. My food ethier comes extremely spicy when I say mild. My curry starts leaking and destroyed my white cloths. And sometimes I come home to realise they didn’t even put my naan bread in. This happened three times in a row and no I am not joking

The service we received on both nights was polite, attentive and very efficient. However the outstanding point was the food. Over the two nights we tried a number of dishes and all were outstanding. The flavours and spices were really outstanding and all dishes were plentiful and extremely enjoyable. I wish I had an Indian restaurant as good as this near me at home, I would be a regular and steady customer!!!

One of the best Indian restaurants in the whole of Auckland. If you’re looking for true authentic Indian style food this is there place to be. Excellent Taste. Cleanliness and Hygiene can be improved. Acceptable because of the Rush in the restaurant for the taste but not for the patients suffering from Dust Allergies. Taste - 5 on 5. I moved to New Zealand from Canada before covid happened, and this is the restaurant I keep coming back to. The food reminds me of my hometown very much. Myself and two work colleagues visited Raviz on Monday evening. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed great food and service during our visit. I can especially recommend the Lamb Rogan Josh which was excellent. All in all a very enjoyable evening, Thank you all at Raviz.

Some of the most delicious Indian food that I’ve been able to find in the CBD. Always end up coming back week after week. Was the first restaurant my 3 flat mates and I ordered as soon as lockdown was over. Would highly recommend giving them a try.

The tikka masala and chicken korma tasted fine and the cheese naan is great, however I would not recommend the curries to people who have difficulty eating spicy food as even the mild is a little spicy. the service was subpar but food was decent

I'm so proud to have such wonderful Indian cuisine in the heart of Auckland. The food is amazing and the ambience is very homely and comfortable with gorgeous paintings on the walls and provides for an extremely comfortable experience. There is a lovely range of food with many spices and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I would definitely go back. I don't at all understand the bad reviews I had an amazing experience and this is definitely one of if not the best restaurant in AKL CBD.

Nice Indian restaurant at a great central location. Good service and nice food as well. Edit - November 2018 The food is tasty and preparation is good. The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. Finding a table is easy even on the busier days. The lunch specials are decently priced and generous portion sizes are served. Parking can be difficult to find on busy days and times. Well recommended overall.

There are some mixed reviews here but I visited this evening and had a really good meal with great service. Food was quick, delicious and with just the right level of heat and nicely presented. Really enjoyed the Shrek kebab, which arrived on a sizzling skillet with a bed of fresh cabbage and onions, which cooked through in front of me. 5 stars well deserved, thanks.

We come here often either for work related dinner meetings or with family. We are always satisfied with food and quality of service. Parking can be a bit challenging but keep going around the block as someone is bound to pull out. Be sure to grab a menu and put it on your car dashboard so you don’t get towed.

Ordered a takeaway lamb jalfrezie on a very quiet sunday night as the Heritage hotel I had checked in to had no food or beverage service available for its guests!! Found Raviz by wandering up the street and ordered a takeaway lamb jalfrezie and a glass of wine to drink while waiting. It was very quiet in the restaurant but the staff were absolutely lovely the lamb jalfrezie was simply delicious and I would absolutely recommend you try this wee gem of a restaurant. One of the best thing I like about them is if you want spicy food they'll make it decent spicy, if you don't want it spicy they won't make it spicy. It's just the way you want the food in terms of spice would be just fine. It's good place to have Indian curries. Will definitely visit again

Very nice place, has all the facilities required. Staff are nice enough and served me well. I especially enjoyed the flirty female working when i came in. Im unsure however weather i would come here i was suffering from any variation of hepatitis the vibe of the place also felt specially threatening to hepatitis A. Im unsure weather they would allow you to bring in an animal however big it may be. I would like to emphasize that i strongly feel hep A is not welcomed here.

This one we cant stop coming back to. oh my god don't even get me started on the butter chicken... yum... looking at the reviews, its pretty mixed but a common trend is that only indians are commenting negatively, probably out of jealousy.. sucks that it brought the restaurant average down, this restaurant is the gem of the city.

Raviz is a regular lunch time meeting place for lots of office folks. It's lunch time specials are affordable, good value and edible. And consistent! At Raviz, you always know what you are going to get. During the lunch break, it can get busy and noisy - but it's good for friendly meet ups for groups from 2 to 20 (but not recommended for business meetings).

I bought a deal for four it included mix platter for four and went on 31 Aug 14 but mix platter only had samosa and onion pakoras and nothing else in it. I spoke to one of the staff member but he said it only includes onion pakoras and samosa since the menu has been changed but I could not see any changes in the menu. mains were awesome as usual.
