Excellent cafe. A total reboot from the days gone by when the food used to be stale and the coffee weak and insipid.
Now the coffee was superb, the spicy chai was great and the food was perfect! The boysenberry donut did not disappoint and the Ginger Gem was Crisp on the outside and feather light and fluffy inside. Another pleasing addition butter (real butter) in a small ramican too! Yes these new owners know what they are doing.
Fresh faces behind the counter and a whole new attitude brings this cafe back to life. The decor is fresh and crisp and the addition of a flower shop inside brings the occasional scent of fresh flowers across the table. Well done!
You used to walk past and see no customers, today business was humming, I can see and taste why.

Great staff a bit slow but all worth it. Not many menu options but I want to go back and try everything my friends had.

Just really, really great tasting fusion tapas food. Great little spot with plenty of space!

It’s a hidden gem, very nice place located in the center of Howick. We really enjoyed our coffees and the atmosphere, exterior design was really cool. The only reason for 3 stars is customer service; awful and unfriendly. Young girl working there couldn’t wait to get home and was quiet arrogant. They forgot an Oreo shake from our order and when we asked for it she said: “Oh yeah” and pointed at the other guy to make it... not even a sorry wait a minute please

Great place to have a snack and good vibe during the evening, if you enjoy pop music and a peaceful hideout in Howick, you need to visit this place. Clean and very comfy, great food and excellent coffee. A must visit when you are in this area.

We went there for breakfast - and were very impressed with the coffee. The Barista really knows how to make a good coffee (Extra hot decaf latte, and same but with coconut milk for my partner - and they used the top of the line ALPRO coconut milk) I'd totally recommend their Homemade Crepes - these weren't too thick or too sweet like some of he other cafes' offerings. Their menu has a good variety, with some quite different choices. So 5 star from us & we'd definitely go back there again.

Amazing food and even better coffee. Rombus is a must visit cafe/bar if you're in Auckland. Service is spectacular and the staff is very friendly and co-operative. They have a dedicated section of food for kids as well so everyone who visits will surely have a great time! :D
For now just enjoying a cold beer!

Service was okay and pricey.
Venue is great. The comedy event was different and funny.
Maybe the doors should be opened up to accommodate more people instead we were all scrabbled up.
