C.Excellent experience! Unlike most Sal's Pizza Restaurants in Auckland, this one never burns the Pizza! This is the only Sal's worth going to if your looking for a nice pizza without the crust being obliterated in the oven.

A.Delicious pizza and garlic knots.
Not 5 stars because when ordering for pickup, they often provide an inaccurate pickup time. When they say ready in 10-15 minutes, can mean 20-25 minutes so you show up for pickup and have to wait around.
S.Always been 'skeptical' about Sal's Pizza..you know, the hype about 'the NY Slice' etc & the price doesn't quite add up to the 1 slice + limited options for vegetarians...BUT, I have to say, HANDS DOWN THE BEST SLICE OF PIZZA I'VE EVER HAD...!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND PEOPLE TO TRY SAL'S..!! 🍕🍕🍕👍👍👍

K.Food is ok, sometimes feels as if it has been sitting around for a while. Service isn't terribly good, seriously feels they don't like their job and they don't communicate very clearly and seem annoyed but reluctantly serving you anyways. Not so much of a problem for me as I generally know what I want, but as I sit and wait for my takeaway I o get to observe their interaction with other customers, it's not bad, it just feels a little 'off'
k.Best pizza ever. Ordered Noonan pizza. So big i could only eat 4 slices. Being Saturday night took about 45mins to deliver to our hotel. So my suggestion is order early. Also had a slice of baked cheesecake. Had no flavour at all. Yuk😖

T.Good pizza as usual but staff have a lot to learn about service and clearing tables. 3/7 inside tables were left with dirty dishes and food left on them for over 40 minutes and not been cleared. We told the staff about it and nothing was done. Poor show of internal controls by duty manager.
R.After travelling for six months my wife and I came across this place, and it truly tasted just like our favorite pizza from home (New York) and the staff was really nice as well. Will absolutely stop back our next time in Auckland, and cannot recommend highly enough. A real gem.
N.I'm a huge fan of the buffalo chicken pizza. So much goodness. Sal's also sponsor the New Zealand National Basketball League so big props to them. P.S. try their garlic knots if you want a tasty little morsal of goodness.

K.Okay I have eaten a New York pizza in New York and Sal's makes the best New York style pizza I have tasted in all of the North island. The rest of the menu is really good, including the Mozarella sticks, garlic bites and the Buffalo wings. Staff are usually nice and the service is fast without much waiting. The only down side for me was that the Buffalo wings has more thighs than wings but that's not enough to justify less than 5 starts. Gets a 5 starts for what it was intended to be, a New York style pizza place.
J.Great deal on the 2 slice combo. I was also brought two mini slices from the kitchen to try some new flavours for free! Great service! Delicious New York style pizza.
R.I don't know how they do it but they have managed to get me complelty addicted to this style of pizza. Every other pizza tastes like cardboard compared to this. Would give it 5 starts but it's pretty expensive + My gf was not really into it so won't be having it very often.. which is a shame!

A.So much more than your usual takeaway pizza. The cheese and sauce are worth every penny. The sitting area is warm and cosy with nice wooden furniture and rustic outlook.

T.First visit and we were lucky tonight alot was going on in Auckland that it wasn't so busy. Clean very clean, guy flipped the dough like a pro. I liked it definitely a prime spot.
