The Fish of the Day was beautifully cooked & was the best dish. Caesar Salad poached egg was perfect. The Duck Liver was elevated with the sour cherries & cornichons on the side. Mushroom Fregola was bland thought the truffle snow would have given it the missing savoury element. Great service friendly & knowledgeable. Clean establishment & well maintained. We enjoyed our lunch.

Fantastic! Highly recommend. Lovely welcoming feel… beautiful food and wine. The staff were very kind/ understanding about our young sons behaviour which as a parent is always a relief when you go out for a family dinner. Exceptionally stylish decor. The bathrooms are gorgeous, with divine hand cream. Definitely one of my favourite Devonport restaurants to meet friends or dinner with family.

Very personable service, lovely setting with the individual dining areas. Excellent drinks menu. The food was prepared with care and well presented, 3 /4 of our meals and sides 5 star. They good at meat dishes. We really didn’t want to leave! See you soon.

A friend and I tried the express lunch, today - good value at $25 for one small plate and one large plate, plus a glass of house wine for an extra $8. The duck liver parfait was delicious, as usual. The fish sliders, though tasty, could have been served with a little less sauce, and maybe a small amount of coleslaw or rocket/salad, to go with the small portion of fries. The service was very friendly and attentive, which is always nice. *************************************************************************** We had the most perfect celebratory dinner, last night, at Signal Hill. The setting is lovely and the whole place has a great atmosphere, with friendly and attentive staff. Glad to see favourites (duck liver parfait, triple cooked agrias) still on the menu. The deep fried chicken dish has now been perfected and the snapper was beautifully pan fried. Yum!

I had most beautiful birthday dinner in Signal hill. Brilliant food, lovely staffs, cute table and very cleaned loo. Strongly recommend(I already recommened to my friends) and definitely will visit again!

Incredible service. Beautiful menu. Snapper crudo was incredible and the scotch fillet was divine. Tasha was our hostess and she was so attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to come back.

This is the best restaurant in Auckland. Creative and flavourful dishes! Every starter and main was impressive. So delicious and it's hard to pick the best one.

Lamb ribs were awesome, melt in your mouth finger licken good. Triple cooked Agria with truffle cream fraiche took spuds to new heights. Got a little envious when I saw the Beef Wellington float by - next time... Washed these down with a glass of Catalina and Emersons.

Great menu .... Excellent selection of beers and wines at very reasonable prices .... Interesting design and top outdoor area .... Got to be one of the best restaurants on the Shore

Lovely wee spot with the BEST service! Made me so happy to be out of lockdown and mingling at a place that had such great people helping us have a fab night. Great menu, everything looked gorgeous and good drink selection, etc. My main (pasta) was a little over cooked and needed a little something extra to get it to wow, but we were a large table and we’re one week out of lockdown, so I feel it will be worth going back and giving it another shot!

We have only ordered take away during covid restrictions and have always had such an easy and pleasant experience when placing an order. Our fave is the slow cooked lamb for 4, which we have ordered 4 times now - it is so delicious. The quality of food is great and amazing value too. I cannot wait to dine here once we are able to.

So it's lockdown in Auckland and what to do for a special birthday dinner? Feast upon the menu from Signal Hill. We ordered the set meal and it was divine. We deliberately ordered for four, hoping there would be enough for the following evening, and there certainly was. Thanks so much Signal Hill for your excellent food and your friendly staff. To be able to enjoy a top restaurant meal at home during this 'special time' was fantastic.

Excellent birthday lunch with old friends. Nothing was too much trouble. Fish of the day, excellent. I could have eaten it twice.

Always had amazing food here and we especially enjoyed their lockdown takeaway, great value for money considering the quality and quantity of food. Lovely staff and really appreciated their extra touch for our anniversary dinner!

Had an amazing lunch where the food was the absolute star. There are multiple dining spaces which came in handy with the very noisy rugby celebration that was happening at the time. My friend & I were able to close the door to the noise in the smaller dining room. Will return in summer to enjoy the outdoor dining area & the great food.

A week ago 6 of us visited and were extremely impressed with the quality, extensive dinner menu. The food was delicious and well cooked- oysters, snapper, wyagu beef, vegetables and desserts. The wait staff interacted with us professionally and positively, while sharing in our jovial mood. Top class atmosphere and service. We'll be back. Last Saturday,we popped in for iced coffees and iced chocolate- very watery, no ice cream or cream. A disappointment.

Amazing masterchef style cuisine. The confit pork belly and crudo fish were some of the best dishes i have ever had; so good we ordered another round. Desserts are beautifully artisan and delicious as well. We had the dashwood sav blanc which was perfect and has gone on my list of fav wines. Service is also so friendly and lovely. Thanks again to the SH team:).

Went to Signal Hill today - Food was amazing and service was great but avoid the cocktails as they tasted horrific and are expensive (couldn’t even finish either of the ones we ordered)

Attended a birthday celebration there and staff were very friendly and welcoming, food and drinks was absolutely beautiful and delicious but the atmosphere around us with being the only dark group there felt very unwelcoming with uneasy stares. With my apologies I Will not be going back to signal hills again unless the atmosphere changes.

A friend and I popped in for an early dinner on Sat evening. The place was buzzing, but we found a little table for dinner. The food was delicious! The prices are reasonable. Definitely going back.
