Had dinner here on Friday evening, wasn’t too busy but wasn’t too crowded either. Dinner came out fast this is the eye fillet w Mac cheese, we also had a side of polenta w Parmesan. Two glasses of wine and we were very happy with our quick date night out. Highly recommended and have been several times and never disappointed.

My husband and myself had a wonderful dining experience at Tapestry. Our dishes were definitely a work of art to the eye and to the palate.
Firstly my husband ordered from the raw bar, he had the tuna poke and myself ordered the soft shell crab which honestly came out looking like a work of art. If only I could put up my photos of our special night. Our first two dishes really did taste divine and I enjoyed my soft shell crab and the special sauces that came with it. My husbands starter was also accompanied by delicious sauces.
Our waitressess came over and checked on refilling our water glasses without being in our way. They really paid attention to detail with their table service, and also pouring our wine and taking care of us. The waitress was also experienced enough to let us know some of the most popular dishes. Yumi's table service really added to our overall experience which is why Ive given it 5 stars all the way.
Now onto the main courses, I so enjoyed the Pan fried Market fish of the day which was Kingfish and we also had the grilled Akaroa Salmon and we ordered some lovely sides to go with our mains these being grilled brocollini .and roasted portabello and caramelized onion. We so enjoyed our beautiful meal and the delicious flavours of the beautifully cooked food. We also enjoyed the warm inviting atmosphere of Tapestry so much so that we plan to go back. What a beautiful evening the perfect end to our weekend off work. We both felt totally indulged and were grateful for such a wonderful evening out. Our compliments to the wonderful chef also, how could I forget. Perfect night!!!

My wife and I were staying inhouse as we were attending the Elton John Concert so booked a room with breakfast option. What an amazing range of food to choose from with the added option of having a chef prepare something especially for you. All the wait staff were attentive to our needs. With service like this we will definitely stay here next time we return to Auckland.

Had a great experience dining here. The staff were attentive and the bar staff was kind enough to give me an extra drink. The meat was soft, seasoned just right and the whole plate was just perfect 🤤

What a meal! My wife and I were staying at the Pullman and had dinner at Tapestry. What an outstanding experience it was. We eat out a fair bit and for both of us this one of the highlights of 2019! My smoked Tartare to start was excellent, subtle and flavoursome too, whilst my Short Rib was tender and struck the right combinations of flavours. Our sides of Wedge salad and charred brocollini had great but not too overpowering flavours. My wife had the duck, and it was so good, I thought she might stab me as I went for a second sample ! :) Many restaurants will get mains and entrees right, but then desserts aren't great, but we had the baked alaska, something my wife had been dreaming of for weeks and weeks and wasn't disappointing and upon the recommendation of the friendly and professional waitress, I had the fondant, which was exactly how they should be, warm, sticky, and chocolaty. Ooh, nearly forgot the mocktails, which you should TOTALLY try! Fantastic.

I dined in at Tapestry Dining in the Pullman Hotel as part of Amex Restaurant Month and I was most impressed with the exemplary service and level
of attentiveness from the staff. Without a reservation I was promptly seated and attended to for beverages and food as I was already set on the 2 course menu.
The wine list was impressive with a great range of NZ wines so I had a glass of South Island Pinot Noir with Antipodes.
My entree was a salmon sashimi in truffle dashi with spiced wakame and pickled daikon. The dashi was beautiful and accompanied the melt in your mouth delicate salmon so harmoniously.
The main was pork fennel tortellini with mushroom chorizo veloute and pickled woodear mushrooms, Parmesan and truffle. This dish was simply extraordinary from the moorish meaty fennel pasta filling bathing in the robust veloute. I loved the contrast of texture with the woodear mushrooms.
To finish off I ordered another Pinot Noir to accompany a cheese board. This was the perfect end to the meal enjoying a trio of cheeses with sourdough and lavash with grapes, honeycomb and quince jelly. Simply gorgeous!
My dining experience overall was wonderful and I was simply impressed with all aspects of the experience and will visit again. Highly recommended with distinction!

Excellent: Dine with a GrabOne voucher for a 3 course meal and drink. We were made to feel welcome, given good seating, had the menu explained, and got excellent attention throughout. The selection available was great, the food portions very good, and all was well prepared and presented.

Had the most divine dessert the Baked Alaska was out of this world. Service was good and food was delicious just a misplaced mains order to the kitchen left us waiting nearly a hour and a half. Would of been a five star.
