A.Delicious food, awesome atmosphere, super reasonable prices for exceptionally good portion sizes... mouth watering dishes... definitely going back for more. Staff and management are amazing! Go enjoy for yourself! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!!
L.Excellent food and service. Great location. Could fix the toilet door so that it doesn't stay open but closes automatically so that patrons sitting and eating nearby, don't have to stare into it.
W.I was so worried eating here after seeing the recent reviews However we had mothers day dinner here, i had the braised lamb shank single and seafood chowder the chowder was delicious only fault i would give is it needs a little more seafood and less surumi..perhaps mussels or prawns. The lamb shank was melt in your mouth the jus really topped it off. I dont know why the bad reviews the food was yummy staff were friendly. Really cool vibe ill definitly be back for breakfast sometime soon.

Q.A lovely restaurant across from the beach. We ordered the seafood chowder and duck envelope. Both of them were super delicious. The coffee was ok or maybe just not on my taste. Overall this is definitely a great place to go if you are coming to the beach.

c.Lovely restaurant! Good quality food and the staff there have amazing manners. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to couples looking for a fine place for a date night, they have a lot of wines there for you to choose. As for younger members, the chocolate milkshake is amazing!
It has a good ocean view so after you eat you can take some nice photos to post on your social media. 😂
The food there is mostly suited for adults, but the beef salad, fish & chips and the carbonara is a great choice for those who don’t like fancy food.
Protip: Bring a camera along! You will be captured by the stunning views outside.

M.I had the pizza and a Heineken beer -$28 , the pizza was ok but could of had same quality pizza from Dominos / Pizza Hut for $5 and bought a beer for $3 at bottle store on way home. Pizza needs way more cheese and a choice of thick base .Service was great and the views great hence the 3 stars.

Revisited , what an upgrade the pasta dish would compete with any in Italy .My wife had the fish chowder , ,she thought it was at least as godd, or better than what she received 18 months ago . These new owners really have it humming , suggest you phone for areservation .Rob

A.We had Barracuda via uber ears and it was DELICIOUS! Nice to have good traditional European style food. The chicken carbonara is divine and lamb shank is a really good size with perfect vegetables. Desert with berries was lovely. Only regret was we didn't order garlic bread to sop it all up.

M.Went there for lunch yesterday. I am so impressed with the quality of the food but most of all the service. They had a Christmas special which sounded great but Unfortunately the sauce had dairy which I am unable to eat. The waitress offered me many diary free sauce options which as a picky eater I did not take just decided to have no sauce. When the food was brought out she told me the chef had made the sauce again without diary for me! The attention to customer request from the chef was so heart warming and the young girl so friendly rather than treating my request as a major inconvenience. Super impressed and will be back!!

Do order fresh food from the menu here as it is amazing. I made the mistake of getting a savoury item on display from the counter, and it didn't taste fresh.

A.Would have been nice to have home made rather than packet gravey/sauces over the chicken. The chowder consists mainly of that horrible reconstituted fish with bright orange die on the outside. Yuck. Love the restaurant location and staff though.
Z.Amazing location, amazing staff, great facilities. Great variety of foods and drinks available. You can sit inside or outside. Great views of eastern beach. Clean and tidy. Cold and hot foods. Cold and hot drinks. Plenty of specials to choose from as well. Chai late is very good. Kids like the biscuits. Dog friendly too as they have a water bowl. So cool.
K.We had some relatives over from AUS and 5 of us went to The Barracuda for lunch today. It was absolutely fantastic. The service was excellent our AUS friends were amazed at the service. The food was excellent. One party was in a wheelchair and access was great and the staff we most helpful. absolutely excellent.
N.I was there with family celebrating my mother in laws birthday party. The food was great and I thoroughly recommend the duck! My father in law unfortunately knocked over a beer that had just been served, at the end of our visit and even though he is a frequent diner had to pay for it. A disappointing end to an otherwise enjoyable occasion
R.We had such a stunning meal at Barracuda. We were sitting outside looking at the beach which was lovely. We started with the bread and dips (yummy). My partner had the eye fillet mignon and I had the seafood parpadelle. Both were utterly delicious. We finished off with the steamed date pudding and creme brûlée. Service was excellent, price was pretty good, but the thing I'll go back for is the food. Really seriously good food.

L.We were invited to a wedding anniversary lunch last Saturday. They are obviously a fine dining restaurant & the tables were dressed very well. Our experience didn't take long to begin. My husband had had major surgery a week prior to this but we chose to go as it was his sister & her hubbys do. Post surgery my husband was drinking apple juice & thought we'd take a small bottle with us. It didn't take long for someone to come over & tell us to put it away, we explained why we had it but she wasn't prepared to listen & walked off saying put it on the floor, needless to say he kept drinking it. We also had issues with the food. We started with bread & dips, the bread at our end wasn't baked properly of which they replaced. The main we had was very nice but the desert arrived with cream out of a can, which to me does not go with fine dining. We won't be going back
H.So happy I chose The Barracuda to have lunch for a birthday treat. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the service was first class. Would look forward to going there again and would thoroughly recommend this Restaurant on Eastern Beach.

A.Pasta for the kids and the chicken an chippies was enjoyed by the kids. Nice location in fact u don't get much better...my pork belly meal was nice apart from the pork belly... i'd say it was 65%fat and there was no crackle on the pork just a measely bit of old crackle on the side. staff were friendly enough.
c.I came here for my 18th birthday. I ordered the duck aa my main and it was cooked perfectly. For desert i ordered the Lemon De Sorrento and this just topped of my meal. The service was outstanding and would highly recommend for everyone to visit this restaurant. To top off the night the view could not be better looking out onto the beach
