R.Was pleasantly surprised at the food on offer here. Unfortunately we had a large group of gluten free people with us and they were unable to offer gluten free fries. Pork belly, hawker roll, buttermilk chicken and beef short rib were all a hit. Not a cheap night out but for those of us who could eat gluten we enjoyed the variety. Miniature dessert platter was a bit of a disappointment. Looked better than it tasted.
J.Tyler was our waitress and has shown an excellent knowledge of the drinks and food. She also was very welcoming and efficient in her role.
The atmosphere of the bar is fantastic. Big thumbs up from me for a local watering hole.
L.Went there on a valentine night. The wagyu sliders are awesome! Others dishes are quite common...maybe we will try bao and tacos next time～

B.A nice bar in Howick that serves tapas style food to share. The tapas menus are located on the wall but they do have a standard menu with drinks and bar snacks. We grabbed a few things to share. Of the lot that we tried, I quite liked the scallops with the sweet potato puree. The other items like the smoked ribs and the chicken tulips were also nice.
I have a fairly big appetite so I thought that the portions were small, but that is expected for tapas. It would be a nice place for snacks but probably not for a full meal as it could get quite pricey.
W.They have authentic Tennants beer for starters. That would be enough for me, but the food and service are excellent as well. The salt and pepper squid is a stand out.

M.A bit pricey for the size of the food I got, but it was incredibly delicious. Probably a place I'd go to for a treat every few months, but I doubt I'd be able to afford a full meal. Liked the atmosphere and the staff was friendly.

D.Great drinks menu and the food is great also. There seems to a lot of new or different staff but I'm not a regular. New staff are ok but just not as attentive. I've read other reviews and agree, it's just really loud so chatting can be an issue.

A.This is such a stylish bar and brasserie! The food is fantastic and the chef has a flare in making all the dishes so tasty... from crumbed cauliflower bites, hawker rolls, chicken satay sticks, sliders to a stunning healthy medley of sautéed veggies. Nothing was too much trouble as I had some specific food requests. Plus the Mumm Rose on offer certainly adds class.
The atmosphere is vibrant, cosy and inviting.
And best of all the dedicated team will totally look after you. Thank you to wonderful management and team. We wish you every success.

L.Simple cost delish food! Perfect for sharing over conversation. No smoking outside was weird as you're on a pathway which is public space but we did as asked. Awesome service great selection of spirits.
H.One of our favorite local spots, great tapas. Lately it’s been difficult to get table service after the initial order, if I’m asked if I’d like another beer I’ll say yes 😎(edit) the staff are again fantastic at checking of you need something else.

D.Came here yesterday for lunch with my husband and a couple of friends. Staff extremely friendly & gr8 to deal with. We ordered Lamb Slider, Chicken Bao,2 Chicken Tacos, Squid, Cauliflower bites, Polenta Chips, Pulled Pork Loaded Wedges..... Devine!!!! We loved the tapas menu and ordered exceptionally well only regrets was we were full and no room for dessert. Will be back and can highly recommend.

N.Easily the best place to eat in Howick and surrounding area. Small plates ordered tapas style, constantly changing variety of specials as well as the standard menu. We love eating here. Drinks can be a bit pricey.
T.I'm from Oz. We visit Howick semi regularly to visit my wife's family. We do a date night every time we are here. Generally dinner and a movie. The last few times dinner has been here. Fantastic friendly service and great food. Highly recommended!

C.Delightful little bar in the Howick Village, great vibe with plenty of seats on the pavement to people watch. Excellent selection of craft beers and wines and also non-alcoholic for the teetotallers like me (they have Hopt Soda). Food is really good but pricey so take a fat wallet.
