Enjoyed a lovely lunch here over the weekend. The owner is lovely, he was friendly and very personable which contributed to the experience. Coffee was really good, about as good if not better than other coffees shop in the area. Food was tasty and reasonably priced - no dramas on that end.

The staff was fantastic, thorough and thoughtful - the chef’s even thanked us as we paid. The food was exactly to order, delicious and hot. The team went above and beyond to accommodate my hot chocolate request, for a large bowl, rather than a standard cup. In short: fabulous and attentive. Worth every minute, and dollar. !!!

Excellent spot for breakfast, brunch and lunch. The seating is cozy and the heaters keep you warm in winter. Fast and efficient service. Superb coffee.

Two people with two separate meals that could not have been better. Great brand new surroundings with friendly service delivering a good strong long black too. Will head back soon for an evening meal. It's now my regular cafe for lunch.

Excellent coffee!! Got my coffee fix here today, still in Auckland lockdown level 3, so only open for takeaway. Super happy I tried this one and was rewarded with superb coffee and excellent service. I have a slightly unusual coffee order and it's surprising how many cafes fail to follow simple instructions, but not this guy. Top marks...

We went here a couple of months ago and were really pleased with the experience. My wife wanted a particular drink but they didn't have it so the owner went off to the bottle store to solve the problem. Tonight under level 3 we ordered click and collect and totally unexpected the owner put a bottle of Italian red in at no cost. He said it would go well with the steak. It is our birthday but he didn't know that. The food is nice and well priced by Auckland standards. This place has become our favorite local.

So happy we came across this gem of a place in Milford. The staff could not have been more welcoming, even of our toddler who was the biggest fan of the live music! We all ordered different dishes and each of us were very impressed with the quality and flavour of the food. Thank you for such a great evening. Can’t wait to go back again

The blueberry muffins are magnificent. Inexpensive, huge, filled with blueberries and served fresh from the oven. The best muffins I've ever tasted!

One issue: the wine list is very lacking in by-the-glass options, they are all cheap wines. This is Milford - a lot of people here know what quality wine is and will happily pay $15-$16 by the glass for it. Otherwise very nice food & quiet atmosphere, comfy seats. Would absolutely return if they can update their wine list.

Very stylish cafe. Had the eggs bene with Salmon and it came beautifully presented. Felt the eggs were a tad on the coldish side by the time it arrived though. Other than that, staff were super friendly and I would happily eat there again.

Our group of eight dined at The Milford on a recent Thursday evening and it was pleasing to see them enjoying ample patronage. Wonderful service from the welcoming and entertaining host and all staff, superb meals - our group chose widely and all of us were very satisfied. We'll happily return and have already recommended it to others.
