This place is simply awesome!! The vibe when you walk in is SO inviting! The cooks are so friendly and inspired! It is clearly evident in the food that we received! Chicken juicy, proper hot, yummyness. Tots crispy-as outside, fluffy inside. And the salads - so fresh, original, define! Loved everything about it!! Thanks guys! You will see me again any day.👌

Fried chicken pieces was very good and tender. Tater tots was soft in the middle and crispy outside, mushroom was juicy in the middle. But definitely prefer the chicken more than the other things.

Well what a great chicken burger really massive portion size beautiful soft bun delicious flavours. I will have to come back for another visit to try the salads and desserts, as well as more chicken options.......................2nd visit had the chicken roll with gravy, so good. Yummy toasted bread and lots of gravy

Had this last night via online ordering. The tots were nice and crispy, but the 'hot dipped' chicken in the chicken burger had no spice at all, and I foolishly paid $2 to add pickles - of which I only saw two and didn't taste any. The burger was just rather bland, which was quite disappointing.

Delicious, great service and reasonable prices, try the cheese and gravy fries , you won't be disappointed, crispy chicken and not crispy were both awesome. Looking forward to out return visit.

Awesome atmosphere and friendly staff. Vegetarian salads were really well made with lots of flavour. Adding Jackfruit was also a welcome option! There were four salads on offer which was really nice to see.

Was delicious, the chicken was so nice. Nice and crispy and juicy. The honey carrot salad was awesome too. Mac n cheese needs a little improvement though.

Food was delicious! Saw this gem as were driving past and had to stop and eat here as the Pukekohe one is tasty aswell! We were not disappointed we got a lot and the staff were so kind and gave a free dessert pie! Could not recommend enough! Make sure to try the fire food!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

One of the best Roast Chickens I've ever had. Moist, tender, juicy, and full of flavour. Fries with cheese and gravy is divine. I could probably drink the gravy alone. The fried mushrooms are great but they do get soggier the longer you leave them out. It's still great though. The Proper Hot fried chicken was a bit of a let down for me. I was expecting burning in your mouth hot, but it didn't really hit. Nevertheless it is fried chicken and I love it regardless. Exceptional service by the way, very friendly. Absolutely love it. I will come back and try the burgers...and roast chicken.

I always wrongly remembered the name of this place - Chicken Dinner, actually it’s called Winner Winner😆 Perfect snacks when going down to the beach. The chicken was marinated really well and I love the seasoning.

Food served hot and fresh . Tasty!! Great salad offerings. Definitely a room to improve service specifically when it comes to meeting customer’s basic requirements - cutlery and plates. Frontline staff should be prepared to serve bigger groups. What should be spontaneous service had to be prompted and irksome. I recommend that they position themselves to be a self service joint vs a hybrid food service , lesser expectations where cutlery , plates, serviettes and water readily accessible to be picked by customers especially during busy hours.

Best chicken burger I’ve ever had.... period! The spicy chicken was a bit underwhelming, just a lot of chilli flakes. Salads were great however the cabinets look quite empty and it’s where you naturally first look before spotting the menu on the wall. All in all, pretty tasty and not too expensive either!

Wow. Absolutely killer fried chicken. My chicken burger was absolutely massive, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. Great sides too. Very affordable and fast service. A fantastic new eatery for Takapuna!

Really enjoyed our visit! Friendly staff, food was delicious (succulent chicken - if you like spice the "medium hot" won't be enough - mushrooms are delicious, and can't go wrong with tatertots), and a nice wee craft beer collection. The interior fitout / decor is really nice, and the space doesn't feel cramped at all. One recommendation might be that the food is quite rich, so doubling down on pickles and/or ordering more refreshing side (like green beans) could help even the meal out. Enjoyable experience, thank you!

Great lunch stop off, meals came out quickly, good for a low carb or keto lunch, but vegetarian and vegan options too. Had 1/4 chicken and sautéed greens with garlic, chilli and almonds. Will be back.

Ordered fried chicken, mac n cheese, tater tots for a takeaway night. Very delish, sauces were yum! AND they threw in a free slice of desert pie <3 the fit out of the restaurant itself is really nice and has a good vibe.

Great fried chicken and sides! Cooked really well and friendly service. Service was a little slow but I assume that this was just due to the store being reasonably new so they are still figuring things out. 😁👍🏼

Wow, super impressed. The food was so good and the service was great! I ordered online and went to pickup. While waiting i noticed the salad i ordered looks like it had almonds because my son is allergic to tree nuts. I asked the server and he confirmed. He also offered to swap it for another salad at no charge. That was awesome man. The salad was sooo good and all the chicken and mac'n'cheese as well. Only thing negative was that the online shop showed some dishes that werent available at that store and then i checked all stores and none had it lol (this has nothing to do with this store specificaly tho). My wife really wanted the K.F.C haha. Gonna go try all the other dishes next time too!

We tried this place for the first time tonight as we’d heard about the recent opening. The guy who served us was awesome, really friendly and good recommendations. The food was delicious! I highly recommend the cheese burger and the s’mores pie for dessert was AMAZING. Best dessert I’ve had in a long time. Thanks Winner Winner team!

First time at Winner Winner Takapuna and so impressed! The food was amazing! We had the K.F.C, The Basic and the charred veggies.A bottle of Lake Hayes Pinot Gris and took a Pinky Slice home to share. Can't move, need a nap but very happy! The staff were OUTSTANDING!! Friendly, helpful and so welcoming. Will definately be back.

We came from the Waikato, heading home to Whangarei. We searched restaurants online and this was the second choice but we definitely will make it our first choice as it was absolutely delicious. It was Waitangi weekend and there were many diners and the STAFF done well under pressure. For such a small team the did well. We spent between $60 - $80 and it was money well spent. Thank you to the staff for the enjoyable experience. I have been in HOSPITALITY for over 20years so it is awesome to see such wonderful service and beautiful food. A testament to the industry.
