So, I've ordered the wise boy (Smash burger), cauli-wings and Onion ring.....I love it! I'm personally not a huge fan of a vegan diet but this is definitely opening my mind up to add a few meals into my regular diet. Staff was very helpful in helping me sort out what I wanted to order... Definitely worth visiting again

First time here, it's vegan burger place. I got Mex vegan burger, and fried cauliflower. My partner got vegan chicken burger. Total bill I paid for our food was $41.00. Bit pricey for my liking but delicious flavours.

Would you like some content to go with your sauce? Okay, ordinarily that may be a sly remark, but this is a compliment in the realm of vegan dining. At 99.9999% of places my vege burger is a sad, dry, stale tower of disappointment. At Wise Boys the sauce is delectable and impeccable and remarkable and unforgettable and -chefs kiss- it almost erases my sad dry vege burger experiences from my memory, and promotes me to feel like a valued customer with functioning taste buds. Because, vegans, like the non vegans, enjoy enjoyable food. My experiences here confirm to me that vegans need to stick to vegan food places because they know what we want, like nobody else does! My foodtography does not do the food justice, the burgers are beautiful in a rustic way. An honourable mention to the side dishes too. The unphotographed onion rings in particular might have lasted a solid minute before we devoured every last intoxicating morsel.

Incredible 100% vegan menu of all different sorts or burgers - found out about this place a few days ago and had to go! Was very impressed with the three burgers my friends and I ordered. Plus got some perfectly cooked fries and onion rings with aioli to die for 🍟🙌🍔 so happy to have found a place dedicated to the art of the vegan burger and totally nailing it!! 💯

Hands down the best burgers in Auckland. We had the cheese burger, the chicken burger, the loaded fries and cauliflower wings and everything was soo damn good. I'm seriously dreaming about it again. I'd say the cheese burger was my fave, love how the patty isn't some processed fake meat and the sauces are to die for, all the ingredients taste fresh. delicious food! my boyfriend talk about what our last meals on earth would be and we decided on this place. The crispy chckn and smoke and fire are.... soo good. We also normally get the cauliflower wings + chocolate sundaes and have yet to be disappointed. I take my non-vegan friends here and they say its some of the best burgers they've had. Such a grey lynn staple. Worth every penny!

So glad I went to Wise Boys for trying the burgers. Definitely one of the best plant based burgers I have ever had. Being a fan of beef and lamb burgers, I must say I was really impressed and full with the burger. I ordered the dirty boy burger and mate of mine ordered the spicy mex. We found our burgers to be delicious and really well made. The onion rings were okay. The pricing is pretty good as well.

My partner, mum and I enjoyed the banoffee shake, onion rings, dirty boy burger, hungry jack burger, potato fries and kumara fries. Personally I found the banana blossom "fish" burger patty too stringy so I would not get it again. Overall most of the food was good and we were stuffed afterwards. Thank you.

Was in the neighbourhood and my partner and I popped in for some burgers. We both had the Crispy Fried Chick burger and the BBQ Jackfruit loaded fries. Both were awesomely delicious. Those loaded fries are the bomb though...outstanding! Great to have a plant based burger joint where you can trust the food and food prep completely. Well done.

Probably the best vegan spot I've been too in Akl. The prices were affordable and the portion sizes were decent. We had the chicken burger and the dirty boy, both were quite filling. The onion rings were also delicious.

They came and parked outside of our work for lunch today. I got the Moroccan aka kumara burger, and the melody of it all went quite well together even though my kumara Patty was a little bit on the charred side. Friendly bunch . Have thick chips too if you're not into beetroot, kumara, or fried tofu. They also have lettuce wraps for gluten people too

Listen... I do love wiseboys. Don’t get me wrong. My partner came here today to get the chicken burger special, I guess dipped in a spiced buffalo sauce and when he got back it was basically the plain burger. Yes, he should have checked the food before he got far along but they should have made the right thing as well? He came near close to closing (very sorry about that) so there wouldn’t be many people coming by, giving them enough time to look at a docket or know someone’s order well enough and yet, no. Wrong order. This may be petty but it’s the little things that matter.

Those burgers are amazing, really satisfying and here to please anyone (vegan or not you just have to try them). Interesting flavours combination, the bread is delicious and not too filling. They don't attempt to create an imitation beef burger, rather a fabulous taste experience using beautiful ingredients. Delicious meal for non-vegans and vegans. Definitely recommend you drop by soon. Great friendly staff and the freshest salad. I have never eaten beautiful buns like these anywhere else.

Filling, delicious burgers at a reasonable price. All vegan but it doesn't seem that way given all the fillings they use. Really cool burger flavours which you wouldn't find elsewhere - like corn chips in the Mex ones for added crunch!

Interesting burgers, like the variety and that it is all plant based and not just 'bean patty' style burgers however, the only gripe i have is that the buns are too big, when the patty is smaller than the buns itself it feels like you're eating more bread than patty. it could be the ones i had just happened to have smaller patties than the bread also? love the chilli mayo and pickles in every burger they work well and aren't too acidic.

Came here by mistake as didn’t realise it was a vegan burger shop. Holy moly is this place good. Got the jackfruit and slaw burger and it was way better than any pork and slaw burger I’ve had. These guys know what they’re doing

I went to Wise Boys with my friends referral. The burgers were really amazing and it was totally different of what i expected. Chelsea is the one who served us who was really helpful and explaining everything. She was checking us often that if the burger was good and did we liked it or not. Absolutely delicious, fresh and tasty burgers with unique flavours! Wise Boys has a great heart behind it and that is evident, a business that cares, which is sometimes pretty rare!

Somehow, these very Wise Boys managed to read my hopes and dreams and bring back the Shrooman Show burger. I eat most things, conventional beef burgers included, but this Shrooman Show really hits the spot. Let me explain why: First of all I love tempeh, but that combo of grilled tempeh and fried portabello REALLY hits the spot. Biting down, you get a nutty chew from the tempeh and crispy goodness from the fried mushroom, both combining into a flying kick of umami. One bite of this thing and your dopamine sensors are bouncing off the walls from MSG (naturally occuring in mushrooms). Think about that rush you get from an insane cut of steak, or a perfect plate of dumplings drizzled in chilli and soy. Then, the supporting players come to town: pickles, lettuce and caramelised onion balance out the savoury goodness, there's great chew from the bun, and it's all rounded out with a heaped portion of their trademark smokey aioli. The vegan cheese isn't necessarily needed in terms of flavour, but my god it's luxurious when combined with all of the other extraordinary ingredients. What I'm trying to say is that this burger satisfies every aspect one could want from such a food. The texture ratio is perfect, all flavours are balanced, and MSG-loving beef burger fiends will not be dissapointed - in fact, they may never go back. Having one of these bad boys in my life tonight turned me from a weeping mess into a happy weeping mess. If you want to gain back some sense of happiness in your life, go here and get this.

I was pretty stoked to see this place pop up in Grey Lynn. I've tried their burgers from the food truck over the years and never been disappointed. The burgers are yum. Well made, fresh, flavourful and satisfying. If you've never tried a plant based burger I highly recommend trying them out.
