Truly lovely location to enjoy a good meal. The staff and service was fantastic. My only issue was really with some of the dishes. They weren’t really what was described on the menu, and felt like each dish was made to look like a piece of art, rather than a decent meal. That may appeal to others though. Would definitely revisit for the right occasion :)

We had an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was INCREDIBLE. My friend who thought he'd be unimpressed with the "small portions of fancy food" was thoroughly convinced and full at the end of our meal. The staff were so friendly and we had a good laugh with them. They went above and beyond when they found out it was my friend's birthday. We love Bracu and have been coming for years. Had a lovely lunch the other day - food is excellent although the portion sizes are on the small side. Fantastic Maître d - knowledgeable and friendly.' My only gripe was having to pour my own wine. I don't expect to have to do that in a restaurant of this calibre - if my glass is empty make sure it's full again. Despite that we will be back. FYI - the 'Miso eggplant' was amazing. Try it.

We had the set menu, originally supposed to be eight of us so that was the only option we were able to have. There ended up only being five of us but we still needed to eat the set menu, not sure the reasoning behind that. The food was delicious, I had the melon and gazpacho salad to start. Would have been nice to have been offered a spoon to finish up the gazpacho but by the time we managed to catch a waitress we were ready to move on. I had the cauliflower florets for main and cant fault it. Same with the desert, Death by Chocolate, delicious! I was very happy with my options but my friends were a little underwhelmed with their entrees and the cheese for dessert was two pieces of cheese? The setting was beautiful and I would recommend it, but not every dish is as great as the next.

Bracu is an amazing extension of the Simunovich Olive Estate, with beautiful scenery this was a wonderful weekend experience of food and wine. Worth the trek south of Auckland - only improvement would be the service as it was a bit lacking once it got busier.

Nice quiet restaurant inside an olive plantation about 7km from Bombay exit south highway to Hamilton. Staff are friendly and informative. Menu is under review and a new one with be coming out soon. It's closed on ANZAC day. Fire place and has about 20 table and some out side if you like to watch the peacefulness of an olive plantation. Wild pukeko roam freely in its ground. This restaurant has been winning awards since 2014. They have displays selling olive health products like different type of infused extra virgin olive oil e.g. garlic, lemon, truffle etc. Promengranate lotion has a delicate smell and lotion was soft and smooth. There is a rose spray toner which is light and fragrant. There are good combination packages and reasonable baby package as gifts. Enjoy your meal and purchases.

We just had our wedding at Bracu on the weekend gone. The guests aboslutely loved their Canopes and three course meal. The atmosphere is aesome and they are very professional with wedding planning. Small issue with the sound system at Island where ceremony took place. It was the same single speaker they've had five years ago when I was helping out my friends wedding there. It would be great if they have slightly better sound system there, otherwise highly recommended as a wedding venue!

Went for Father's Day degustation menu. Everything was perfection. Food tasted incredible, service was impeccable. The weather was even perfect. The only issue we had which was rather amusing in hindsight, was when we were leaving there was a woman screeching when she claimed to find a hair in her food. Went for a late lunch. Food was delicious, but still pricier than its worth. Service was lovely to start with, but staff became less attentive as the afternoon progressed and the restaurant became quiet: - I waited around a very long time, standing, when no one was floating, nor behind the desk, to request more food. - I waited over an hour for table service before getting up to source more water for our table. - The bathroom's needs were not anticipated either - towels were used up, and no other option to dry hands available (except toilet paper!). Setting was lovely, but I wouldn't choose this place over other more value for money places, with more consistent, attentive service.

I tried both the lamb and the duck as mains. The duck was delicious but the lamb was not very tender. All around a good experience.

Bracu has lost a lot of its glamour. Even basic manners are not being respected. Men wearing caps at the table has always been a no-no for dining. Previously I am sure the Hostess would have dealt with that subtly. Our waitress, lovely as she was, wore creased black trousers straight from the dryer. Uniforms used to be pressed and immaculate. But the bathrooms were the real disappointment. No longer any nice soap....just a small bottle of sanitizer. Later a low quality flowing soap came out. Upmarket eateries will often have flowers and lovely flowing soaps. Certainly at highly rated BRACU this is an expectation. Olive Grove products are not necessary, but something better than supermarket Palmolive. These things seem small and picky but in that price range.....it does not fit the image. The food was not the usual. In fact the bluenose was tough and chewy and on the set menu the couscous did not entirely gel. It had dropped considerably on our list of favs

Absolutely loved our dinner at Bracu! After having a few horrid moments with other restaurants recently, Bracu was refreshingly relaxing. The atmosphere is quite and calm but not stuffy, the service being in the same vein. The food is fabulous, each of our plates couldn't have been improved, all perfectly cooked, seasoned and portioned. The fish I had was some of the best I've ever had, as a boatie family thats a very hard thing to find for us. The white chocolate mousse was perfectly balanced it provides sweet, sour, creamy and crunchy profiles, a luscious yet refreshing finish to the evening. The service staff are lovely and helpful without being overbearing or feeling the need to constantly make awkward conversation. When one of the servers spilled some water she made light of it and we all admired how lovely the droplets looked. I appreciated how calm she was, the staff just know how to put you at ease, and as someone with anxiety that is very important to me. Thank you, we already have plans to visit again. P.S unfortunately no pictures as we all forgot due to the food looking and smelling so good.
