L.Great food and excellent service. Oysters were great as was prosecco. Not the cheapest meal and portion sizes for the mains were a bit on the light side. Disappointed that the hollandaise with the fish wasn't homemade.

Amazing selection of wine hand beer to accompany any meal.
The fresh oysters with the vinegarette really are something special. The steak with the cow tongue croquette is out of this world.
C.Fabulous service and scrumptious food presented well. We had the Mothers' Day set menu and everyone enjoyed their meals.
M.We were visiting the area from NYC and visited this restaurant on a recommendation from our B&B. I am so glad we came in; the food was honestly some of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. We had the tempura oysters, the fish of the day, and some chocolate dessert I can only describe as stunning. Everything from the service, presentation, and taste blew us away. I wish I stayed in the Cambridge area longer to dine here again!!

É.We had the plesure to had our Valentine day dinner here. All the courses were excellent, our favourite was the lamb, must try. I never thought to find such a lovely place here, everything was great and the athmosphere of the restaurant is relaxing. They even got us a surprice hearth shaped chocolate at the end, very thoughtful. Definetely should visit if you are nearby.
S.Had high expectation coming here. Great looking menu but all the dishes just missed one extra dimension. For example, the raw kingfish dish was missing a touch of acid. Also, the glass by the wine was very pricey. The wine glass was only 20% filled. A big plus was the friendly and helpful staff. Has the potential to be 5 stars.

A.Not only have I eaten here the past two Tuesdays with my friends and loved the meals provided. I also had the honor of working here as a waitress. I had heard so many wonderful comments on how the food was that I had to try it myself and managed to bring my friends along with me as well. It is definitely a place I would eat at when I get the chance, it has lovely service and the cooks are prideful in their work more often than not asking what the comments were from customers and trying to get any feedback they could. It has definitely improved a lot from my personal experience and from what I've been told from the regular clients that we saw often.

S.This awesome local restaurant. You can see why it gets so many awards. With its impeccable food, friendly, knowledgeable staff in a beautiful older building. This Jim is well worth a visit. I went here with my wife for a lovely evening out. The food was to die for. As was the wine. I will defiantly go back and recommend to others. Awesome for a date night.

M.Picked from the choices along the street, and while the menu is not very long, managed to find two plates we could try together. That was the best piece of lamb I've ever had, and the pork came close. The details of each dish were not ignored either - the flavours in and of everything were selected and prepared precisely to leave us thinking through them. I'd expect more meal for less money at most restaurants, and we considered leaving before the temptation of a dessert menu was put down. It would have been the wrong decision by far; the rum creme brulee is the most artistic dessert to grace my plate and didn't trade off on taste either. Worth the price paid - I look forward to the next visit.

S.Based in the beautiful historic National Hotel building in the heart of Cambridge shopping Centre which has been sympathetically renovated. Alpha Street Kitchen has been through a few different names and owners, but the current owners are probably doing it the best. Relatively high end quisine that is done well and changes periodically. Recently I had the Half Duck meal which was duck cooked three different ways. Perfectly cooked duck breast with delicious sauces. Their signature dish is the chocolate dome covered brownie, or currently ginger bread dessert. I can happily recommend alpha street kitchen, and am sure you will have an enjoyable experience although you will pay for it.

S.Have rib eye with extra crispy wedges which was absolutely delicious. My wife had the crispy chicken burger and the chicken was super crispy on the outside, juicy tender on the inside. Looked like everything was recently renovated, beautiful decor and service was excellent!
