F.We've been here twice now and both times the food was outstanding and so was the service. To top it off Pony is one of the few restaurants in Cambridge that are open late(ish) on Weekends 🤣👌.

M.Ordered the fried chicken sliders, kumara wedges, and the lime & soda for pickup during level 3. All were absolutely delicious, definitely recommend! Will definitely be ordering again.
W.We had a great time as a family! We enjoyed the decor apon arriving and the food when served! The chef easily switched his brussel sprout veg for asparagus and the fish of the day was delicious! Loved that they were open for an early afternoon dinner and we enjoyed the place without any distraction or noise.
D.The food was delicious but when we paid the bill I asked for a receipt. Suddenly he opened the till and handed me $5 for a coffee that we didn't have. On further inspection we had been charged twice for a tapa ! They may have been honest mistakes but I would recommend to check your receipt before paying.
N.If you ever come across this bar/restaurant is Cambridge I advise to give this place a try. The food was exquisitely delicious and plentiful. It was a wonderful experience. The service and staff were amazing and made us feel comfortable. Keep up the great work.

It is so refreshing to have a cafe that provides such high-quality, delicious vegan options. The food here is so nourishing and fresh.
The vegan burger is so insanely delicious and super filling. I will definitely come back and order this again.
The staff here are so warm and friendly and make you want to return.
I'd recommend this place to everyone as their menu truly is so diverse and there is something for everyone.
R.Went there for lunch with my friend on a weekday. It was just us 2. Food was great. Prices were good. But when i requested for grilled chicken in burger instead of chicken thigh skin-on. I was refused. Which was quite surprising because burger was $1 more than chicken tacos. I was happy to buy burger instead of tacos and pay the price of burger. But i was said no. Me being a chef myself dont understand what was wrong with that. We came all the way from Hamilton to Cambridge just to eat at Pony. So that was the only thing that made me upset.
Then service was rushed. The manager was a lady. And she rushed service. Looks like she wanted to clear our table fast. But it was not busy? Only 2 customers on a table in entire restaurant. Again sad because we were rushed.
R.Stopped here on 28/12/21 for quick bite to eat and drink on way home to Aucks. Great service, yummy passionfruit mojito and Kumura chips. 😁👍
A.Great food. We enjoyed the burger, kids menue and fettuccine with shrimp. All with great taste and reasonable portion size
M.Absolutely loved it! The “Boom Chicka Wow wow” was amazing, so tasty & a good amount of spice for the chilli lovers! The Jalapeño poppers were good to. Service was excellent & fast, along with a good chat.
I highly recommend this place! And cant wait to come back for a full meal & drinks!
A.We shared wonderful tapas (cauliflower tempura bites, chicken thigh slider trio and pulled pork taco Duo) all fresh, very tasty and promptly served. There is an excellent wine list, well priced and we were made to feel very welcome from attentive and chatty owner AK at Pony. Sitting outside until the sun went down was a great way to finish Easter Sunday and stay at Cambridge. Next time the homemade patties yum ;)

N.We really enjoyed Pony. Cute little bar. The cocktail of the day was delish and the chicken burgers we ordered were so juicy. The prices were fair and the staff were really nice. We will be making a return visit for sure.
M.Food was delicious so was the coffee and ice chocolate, service not so good, no salt and pepper at the table had to get this myself, also my sons desert was missing the ice cream..waitress checked to see if we were happy with everything but didnt seem to wait for our answers moved very quickly to next table. Not very busy at the time either maybe 3 tables with people. Very clean and tidy.
S.Really good food and drink. Great atmosphere. Awesome staff. I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended for everything from a light snack, to a full dinner. Very reasonably priced drinks.

G.Have been several times, highly recommend! Warm, friendly service with interesting & tasty food. Obviously an experienced owner & clever chef. Food is tapas style, with regular blackboard specials. They also have tasting plates, where you can mix and match 2 or more items to your liking - a great idea! I don't think they take reservations, but have waiting tables, and we've never had to wait more than a few minutes - always worth the wait.
D.We stopped by for a mocktail, coffee, lava cake and panna cotta. It was all amazing and the service was excellent. Great atmosphere. We’ll be back to try there menu another time!
l.Stumbled onto the PONY!
I was with my family in Cambridge, and just wanted a quick drink.
We sat down, and beautiful Akshay appeared without hesitation.
Next thing: laughter, kindness, handmixed sangria, good, solid, food, to go with great tunes from the late 70's/early 80's.
We rode that Pony right out the door as we felt briefly lifted away from it all.
Great, comfortable place to hang.

A.Banger!!! $15 lunch menu blew my socks off. Best burger in town, tastiest fish and the chips... A-MAZING!
$12 espresso martini is a must.
B.The food was great, very tasty and interesting. However, the seating was very uncomfortable! Either a hard stool that is tightly packed-in so wait staff have to constantly squeeze past, or a bench that is way too high so your feet dangle. This really starts to hurt if you want to go for a long dinner, as a short lunch place wouldn't be so bad. They did give us blankets which made it slightly better, but definitely need to add cushions and a footstall bench.
C.Great Tapas menu. Not a huge number of options, but each on point. Tonight's selection of Warmed Olives with Chibatta, Sticky Cauliflower, Falaffal, and Jalapeño Poppers were all tasty and warming. Pudding was the favourite, an Orange scented Phirni (rice pudding), and a Chocolate Lava Cake. Both very good, but the Phirni was our favourite!
W.Had the shot ribs and jungle curry and it was too die for.. Absolutely delish! Highly recommended.
D.Awesome. Thought we’d try it out under the new mgmt and it’s even better than before. Great service, amazing food, good vibe. Try the AK-47 pow wow chicken if you like beautifully cooked spicy fried chicken that won’t leave you with a belly ache. Mindful of, and helpful with, special dietary requirements too.
R.Drove out of our way to try Pony for an anniversary dinner last weekend and while the food was pretty good, the service was so cold and unimpressive we were keen to get out of there asap as it dampened the mood of our entire evening.
Word to the wise - when customers walk in, with a booking, and you greet them with a dismissive hand swept over the room, saying 'sit anywhere'... it doesn't feel altogether special or welcoming.
My partner queried if a simple side salad could be added to his mains (instead of one of the two other complex salad options, just to get some greens in), and despite the server clearly knowing what we were asking for (and that we'd be happy to pay for it), she didn't want to help and just redirected us back to the salads on the menu.
Perhaps we misunderstood the vibe of this place, but we expected it to have much more charm than this.
Also, the real fur menu covers are a little gross to be honest.

V.A refreshing change from the often bland service and food often found at most restaurants nowadays. This was a great concept of plates brought out for us all to share- Service was very enthusiastic with each plate nicely described. And best of all it was a realistic price.

Down side it's very small and gets very hot. Hard to move around due to size.
M.I'm pleased to see a new bar in Cambridge. I like the concept, but the execution is terrible. The stools are too high for the high top tables and, therefore, miserably uncomfortable. They have a proper cocktail list, but the bar isn't condusive to bellying up because those chair-stools are abnormally short for the height of the bar. It's so high, in fact, one isn't comfortable standing at the bar and enjoying a cocktail leaning against it. The music was on point however.
