U.I love their food. I have tasted Indian food at so many places but It's the best in New Zealand. Staff are very friendly and always welcoming.
S.Looking for a quick lunch before meeting and spotted Basmati - walked in large table of 20 it was 45 mins till my meeting. I asked for a table for 1 and whether it would be possible to have food real soon. The waiter said yes with a smile . Tended to me with speed and grace. Food was chicken daal and naan. It was huge and I thought I would not eat it all but it was so delicious, chicken melted in mouth. Great price great service, very aesthetically pleasing premises and I will definitely be back with friends 😊

N.Flavorsome Indian cuisine for lunch and dinner. Great menu with reasonable prices and excellent customer service. Have been there many times, the service and food were just THE BEST.
The food is so tasty and authentic and possibly the best Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Shanks, Kadai Paneer I've had here in Christchurch. Ambiance is great and good place to hangout with friends and families.

We are on holidays and were looking for some authentic Indian eatery and found this place ,such a great ambience and delicious food .
Whenever I will visit Christchurch again this is must go place for me and my whanūa.
r.I am going to this place from quite some time , i would say their service and authencity of food is one of the finest in whole Christchurch . The service is polite, informative i.e they tell the customer what is in the food and how they prepare the food upon asking. I have vegan friends who love their food. Being now regular they always give some extras with deserts or curries which is very good way of caring the customer. I encourage everyone who visit Christchurch please visit the basmati for one time and you will be hooked up with their food for lifetime.

i.One of the best in my opinion I had the chicken Madras the flavours were exceptional. It was very well priced even the wine. highly recommended.
