Simply the best pizza in Christchurch/Canterbury you can get your hands on. Genuine Italian pizza made by Italian hands. I never get bloated from it. The way the dough is done is just beautiful and delicious. The best and most friendliest service. Thank you for always lighting my day. Ps. If I don't eat there, never makes it complete to the house lol.

Magnificent pizza in a lovely setting surrounded by busy honey bees on the sage, oregano and lavender flowers. The warm-hearted and friendly Italian owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcome, and to explain the processes behind his pizza-making. (Shhh secret: only the best ingredients, and then keep it simple!) Finished up with some gelato, also wonderful. Best pizza in the Christchurch area.

This isn't another Italian pizza in Lyttelton, this is la vera pizza italiana! 🤤. Thx Ed to make us try the 'Nduja on the pizza. My toast in the morning has a new ingredient!

Addicted to Bomba! Reliable sources tell me this place is incredibly authentic- in style, vibes, and of course, taste! The gnocchi is amazing & affordable, the pizza is to die for (the dough, *chef's kiss*), and service is always top notch. Highly, highly recommend- we cannot wait to move to Banks Peninsula just to have ready access to Bomba 🤣

My coworker (Italian) was telling me I had to check this place out for authentic Italian pizza. So I came here last weekend with my wife and we were amazed at how good the pizza is! If this is authentic Italian pizza, then we need more of it! The owner is very passionate about what he creates and everything that goes into it. He recommended us to try a Margherita if we want to know how good a place does their pizza - and it was so good we ordered another! Definitely one of the gems in Christchurch and 100% worth visiting.

Bomba embodies the essence of good Italian food. High quality ingredients assembled with an elegant simplicity and cooked with mastery and passion. This is the only place in Christchurch that satisfies my need for an authentic pizza experience. Bravo!

Best Pizza in Town - Period! The pizza is baked to perfection, with plenty of delicious local buffalo mozzarella and imported Italian smallgoods. Don't miss out on the spicy salami. The gnocchi is fantastic too, cooked to just the right texture. What makes all of this even better is the passion of the chef and the staff.

I can’t put it into words how much I would recommend going and trying this pizza. Close your eyes, block out the sounds of the Lyttelton port workers yelling abuse at each other, and you could easily be transported to a quaint little italian seaside town. This place is the reeeeal deeeeal. A+++ would trade again.

I had the Mediterranean Pizza last night, it was just amazing , one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted, fantastic base and well balanced toppings then cooked to perfection.

We finally got a chance to visit Bomba and try the full menu with pizza and pasta last night. What a treat! The pizza is easily my favorite in the Chch area - but I have a weakness for neapolitan-style. The homemade Italian sausage was flavorful and delicious. The vegetarian calzone (with added olives) was a delight. The dough was perfectly chewy, sauce was on point. We also had the mac 'n' cheese with jalapenos, bacon, and flamin' hot cheetos on top - it was just too good to pass up, and lived up to the hype of its constituent ingredients. The owner is such a lovely and genuine human being, and is a joy to be around. His passion for what he does is evident, and his focus on making sure patrons have a good time and great food makes the experience even better! We can't wait to come back!

I studied in Christchurch for a semester, and from the moment I got here, I started missing the pizza from home. I'm from New Jersey (where many Italian Americans live) so we definitely love a good pizza. Most pizzas I've seen in Christchurch have either had ultra thin crusts, unusual sauces, or both. (Not to my taste) After months of searching, Bomba was the place that delivered a pizza reminding me of home! Delicious chewy crust and lovely tasty mozzarella on their pizza napoletana! And they made the whole pizza for our group right in front of us, fresh and ready in 5 minutes. Just perfect! Thank you Bomba!

Had a beautiful beef ragu with home made gnocchi, and my partners pasta was equally delicious. The gelatos to finish were also exceptional! You can tell passion goes into preparation of everything here! I'll have to try the pizza next time im in Lyttelton.

Great personable service and delicious food. We had the salami pizza, butter & sage pasta, coffee and gelatos - passion fruit, black Doris plum and also black licorice. Yum! Perfect spot in the sun. Happy to have found and enjoyed this place!

Definitely the best place to have real Italian ice cream and a cup of real espresso / ristretto in Christchurch area. The owner Ricardo (Ed) brought the best mixture of Italian heritage with kiwi lifestyle to Lyttelton. Love the place!

Super delicious pizza, doesn't get any better than this!

This gelato was amazing. I had raspberry and chocolate, a great combo, but I also got to try a little of my dad's feijoa which was amazing - somehow it managed to taste more like feijoas than actual feijoas. My boyfriend had a waffle which he loved. The coffee was great too. And such a beautiful setting in the garden.

Amazing pizza & espresso spot in Lyttelton NZ! Also a stream of locals and tourists choosing gelato from the cabinet.. 5 stars, highly recommend.

Sweet little Italian place, great and friendly owner. The pizza was super yummy. Next time I will try the ice cream and the coffee, it looks super delicious. Highly recommended.
