Visited Denny's for a birthday lunch today. Drove into a car park straight away. Generally it's really good for parking here, but can get busy at times. Would recommend turning up prior to peak times, if you want to avoid the crowds & have the choice of a park. One of our group member's is celebrating a birthday today, so the conditions for one free birthday meal are: Must be with at least one paying customer and dining on your birthday. The free Birthday meal must be equal to or less than the paying customer’s meal and is for one menu item only. Don't forget to tell the birthday person to bring a photo ID along e.g. drivers licence. We were given attentive, friendly, polite and accommodating service. The waitresses were fantastic. Our orders included Satay roll, Chicken Fettuccine & Fettuccine Carbonara, with extras ordered - a side of fries and a monkey bowl of sauce. All of our meals were cooked really nicely and came out within a short space of time. The cleanliness of the utensils has definitely improved since our last visit. The only thing that now needs more attention is the glasses e.g. one glass had specks of food stuck to the outside of the glass. Other than that, a really enjoyable meal & occasion, sitting at a table with the beautiful sun beaming down. What more could you ask for. To top off the day, I now just need an afternoon nap 😁. Denny's Chch has been my go-to casual restaurant in Christchurch since I first stepped foot in it. 😂 The food has consistently been very good and inexpensive. I especially enjoy the large variety of vegetarian options, and have personally fallen in love with the Veggie Skillet. Most of the staff are very friendly, however I have found some of the waitresses to be quite rude. At my last visit, my partner and I waited for 15 minutes to be given water after ordering, which seemed a bit excessive considering that the restaurant was not very crowded. Either way, Denny's has great food, great curly fries and is conveniently located off Moorhouse. Always worth a visit for a good lazy lunch 😊

Food excellent! Have maintained the charm of the past. What other place has refills of excellent FILTER coffee, plus can actually hear conversations, as music turned down low. Prices very affordable! Please do not change or "remodel". We love you the way you are.

Food is not bad, service is particularly great today

Service was very good. The meal was great but they needed better knives for the steak. The knife I was brought looked like it had been found at the bottom of the kitchen knife drawer. But overall from one who has been a customer for at least 20 years nothing appeared to be an issue.

A good family restaurant with a very good selection of meals for everyone. Options for: gluten free, sugar free, vegetarian, dairy free, and meat lovers. The servers were prompt and polite. A two course meal with drinks for three people, for under $100.

1st time i have ever been to Denny's and oh WOW top food EPIC milkshakes great coffee and the service is just pure fantastic. Thanks for a great meal and time. Keep up all your awesome work.

I enjoyed my experience. The food was Soo good. My surf and turf was on point and steak was cooked beautifully.. And Kellie. D our waitress was lovely. Definitely great place to eat

Loving the pancakes... highly recommended.. i would give 5 stars but i was only just told yesterday that i get a complimentary tea or coffee with my meal after many times of recently ordering pancakes a few days in a row..

So fun to go back to the late 90s lol. Look. It is not fine dining but we had good service and generous serving sizes. The food was good. The only thing that lowered my star rating was getting a well done steak when we asked for medium, but it was still edible. The mushroom gravy and chips were primo.

The meal was great value for money although nothing that would deviate from average. A little tedious that the waitress was over attentive. We didn't really need to know that you were going to the "toilet" and would be right back.. however appreciate the mention that there would be a delay because of this in order to finilase our order. It was only the prompt by Google which lead us to post the review. Despite us following requirements to wear our mask when required and noting the 2 meter rule posters posted in the restaurant that upon exiting to pay our account the waitress walked closely past and reached out and grabbed my arm for an uncomfortable length of time and thanked me (again!) for visiting. Regardless of the current restrictions which I feel should have been adhered to.....whenever possible (of course what is possible by carrying out business in a restaurant setting).... I felt that this was un necessary and an unwanted gesture and left me feeling very uncomfortable. It's great to feel appreciation for the business, however professionalism was certainly lacking.

Hey its Dennys, what can I say....but for what it is and what I want every now and then I give it 5 STARS! I have visited for several breakfasts and the occasional dinner here over the last few years and it certainly meets my expectations. Sadly my wife HATES IT but my kids and I love it!! Stick to the basics and you won't be dissapointed. Pricing on the breakfasts and kids meals is very good, but value relative to quality on some of the other items is a bit ambitious. Very quiet in the mornings but the staff are awesome and super friendly. You've got to love the lack of pretentiousness here.... if you want high end or a good version if something on trend then it won't be for you.

Okay for a one off experience. Caramel banana pancakes were very thick and huge. If made thinner they would be nicer. Lovely presentation though. Good value for money and staff friendly

Cracked broken glass for milkshake not great start. Filter coffee was worst I've ever tasted. Curly fries good and good amount of them. Crazy amount of cheese on wedges. Pancakes good but four tiny slices of banana on "banana pancakes" incredibly disappointing. Had to wait ages after food delivered before able to get utensils which seemed strange. The cashier lady was super friendly and lovely, waitresses not so much, a smile might help.

Denny's greatest strength is its hours, great place to end a night on the town and wind down before heading home, food is average to good, and staff are generally helpful and polite.

Food was only warm when delivered to table and my partner had steak and asked for medium rare but had blood on his plate

Went to have brunch at this place. Its slightly expensive than what I expected. The quality of the food was just about average. The service was good. The owner is a nice guy. Love place. A great location accessible ib the cbd. They are open 24x7 on thursday friday and saturday. Would recommend for a casual visit. This place has been there for more than 15 years I think.

Pretty decent experience, did feel like we were getting the hurry along as we were asked if we were ready to order 3 times in less than 10 mins, but staff were friendly, and food came out in a faily timely manner.

What can you say about Denny’s? All day menu with late night hours. Friendly staff. Food was tasty and quick to prepare.

Great cheap food if that's what your looking for. If not then go else where. Big boys bfast is the best but the baked beans a bit over priced $4.60 for side order of beans WOW.

This restaurant is an average breakfast restaurant. I do not feel that the food at this place is worth the price you pay for. The restaurant interior also isn't very appealing, as it looks like it has never been renovated since its opening day.

Love Dennys, the food is great & I love that you can walk in off the street and get a table. The staff are accommodating & helpful .

I mean for a Dennys, it is what it is. Food was pretty half decent and considering you can go and get almost any cuisine you want at 5am is pretty astounding, the selection is unrivaled! above all else though our server Jacob was amazing, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, polite, funny...to still have those characteristics at 5am on the arse end of a 12hr shift (7pm till 7am) I take my hat off to you, ive worked in hospo for 13years and I was beyond impressed with Jacobs professionalism, Dennys is very lucky to have you as an employee!

Meal as expected, would have loved the wait person to offer coffee as soon as we sat down and refills before we were ready to leave.

It was good, was it great? An establishment built for a king, is it feeding royalty? While portion sizes and decadent tastes surprised us, cost factors in to our hard wrought ratings. Should you eat there? For a breakfast that fills and a relaxed atmosphere, yes. Should you set your expectations for a 5-star Michelin meal? You would be disappointed. Solid breakfast food and enjoyable service make this a good location for a fun brunch every once in a while.

If you want good, simple, comfortable food this is the place for you. The meals are reasonably cheap and you get a lot for your money. There are plenty of options to cater for all tastes so you can enjoy a meal with friends or family and everyone should be able to find something they like. Staff are very friendly, helpful. Service is quick and they are happy to customise a meal should you not been keen on something, e.g no cheese in your club sandwich. You can pretty much guarantee a table, no matter what time you arrive. The restaurant is quite large and can accommodate many and there is no need to book. They are also maintaining requirements to comply with COVID-19 mandates etc. Vaccine passes and tracer app sign-ins required. There is social distancing between tables and areas are cleaned between customers.

Denny's offers good value for money, the food looks exactly like the menu and portions are quite large. The service is good and reasonably quick. The menu is very large, so you'll be hard pressed to find something that you don't want to eat.

Genuinely one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. I had heard mixed reviews of the establishment before arriving, so I wasn't exactly sure what I was getting into but boy was I pleasantly surprised. I had the deviled eggs, veggie spring rolls, oreo waffles, duck liver pate, a classic hamburger, SIX breakfast sausages AND MORE. Seldom has the title "all you can eat" lived up to its name to such an extent. I was stuffed to the gills. Genuinely... it got to the point where I wasn't even eating out of hunger any more but just so I could enjoy the delicious juicy nectar of Dennys' drip down my gullet. And after all that I washed it down with 6 gallons of good old-fashioned Dennys lemonade. WOW.

Friendly staff and good service. I had the skillet steak and cooked veges, personally I didn't like the cooked veges as it was bland, I noticed the table beside us felt the same too. For future reference I would go for the garden salad instead... Overall good atmosphere and lovely customer service...

A big improvement to when I was there 4 years ago, there were a lot of unruly customers dining, which caused my partner and I to leave. However, I thoroughly enjoyed my dining there this time, looked like welcome changes have been added, more of a family atmosphere this time, efficient staff, and the meal, beautifully prepared and served, and reasonably priced, which was great! Nice to talk to Neville again, he does a great job, look forwarding to return again

It's been a while since I was here last, had a lovely meal and a nice beer. This place is family friendly, plenty of kids running around. The staff were friendly and efficient. Prices were reasonable. I'll be back...

Always a good experience. Been recently for 2 birthdays and the staff have been wonderful. Prices seem a little high for adult meals however the prices for child meals is amazing value for money!

Family restaurant Prices a bit higher but in relative to the market but will be quite expensive for a big family. Taste wise - my special (roast duck) was a bit salty. Good portion. Reasonable price.

Great customer service, friendly & accommodating staff. Hubby's satay roll meal looked really nice & was a big portion size. He said it tasted really good. I ordered lamb shank on mash. The lamb shank was a decent size and tasty. There was only a small amount of mashed potato and so not a good balance. The vege's were nicely cooked. The sauce over the lamb shank tasted like thickened tomato sauce and the sauce over the vege's was what appeared to be a watered down cheese sauce. I think that the lamb shank could be improved by just having a nicely flavoured gravy poured over it. If the chef could thicken up & also flavour the sauce poured over the vege's, it would improve this meal significantly. I think that the cleanliness & hygiene could be improved. The glasses bought to the table had ingrained stains on them, which we asked to have replaced - they obliged in doing so. We saw a waitress use a broom & shovel to pick up dirt & rubbish, then didn't wash or sanitise her hands before touching table items. Parking is never a problem here and seating in the restaurant is always quick. I've had some really nice meals here in the past & will continue to dine here. It would be great if they could work on the improvements suggested.

Excellent food at a reasonable price. Brilliant service! Every time I visit, I get the bacon pancakes with extra butter and syrup. They are always *very* generous with the butter (unlike US Denny's). Love being able to have the style of food I grew up with, but with delicious NZ-natural ingredients.

Denny's Christchurch, been back afew times here now for similar meals, last time our beverages came with the meal price, this time they didn't? Was confused at the till as i had it calculated in my head n then total came to just over $10 extra but i was well fed n the mrs was happy soo left it at that.. The meals were great n the hot chocs that got served were top notch.. got get some Denny's, the only one in the south island i think? Heading down south?? dont forget to stop at dennys Christchurch

Denny's is a casual restaurant Located on busy Moorehouse Ave. Their client base is aimed primarily at families/couples. Parking is plentiful as is the size of their reasonably priced meals. The menu caters for all tastes, food is served hot and with a smile. All up I think really good value for money. The four stars does not represent any specific facet of the business but rather an overall approval rating.

American dining experience that has a wide range of options. If you're looking for quality and flavour, this is a must avoid. Great for dining on a budget.

It was OK if you arecwanting a quick meal

Come here with low expectations and you will have a blast! If the food was cheap, then it'd easily be a 5-star rating because you would get what you pay for. Unfortunately, food quality is average along with the service from waitstaff. It's evident they hate working here. The few positives would be that you can always find a table here without a booking and they have a diverse range of cuisines in their menu. Would only partially recommend if you are a family with young kids looking for somewhere to dine out.

Friendly and comfortable environment, good portion sizes, overall good experience. If you're looking for a boujee Cafe to put on your Instagram story Dennys might not be for you, but if you're after a hearty brunch thats reasonably priced, Dennys will come through.

We had michelle as our waitress and she was awesome. Food always pretty good here and fast service. However unfortunately it seems some of your other staff need to be reminded about personal hygiene working with food.

Passion cheesecake. The staff were lovely. I also got a waffle too, enjoyed that too.

The waitress with the dreads and hand tatts totally made our visit. By farrr the friendliest service I've had at any restaurant EVER. She's a gem for the business. Oreo shakes are A MUST while youre there.

I went to Denny's for the first time for coffee and chips with my son. I love their chips and great coffee at a very good price with good service. The people behind us came for deserts and wow they were impressive. We're definitely going back as a family soon.

Excellent value for money, especially the coffee which you can get multiple cups for no extra cost with certain meals, only real complaint was the sausages were a bit bland they taste good but could be better.

Had great table service during our dining experience. The gentleman who was serving us was very polite and checked in with us at times to see if we were content and didn't need anything else. I particularly enjoyed the Denny’s Strawberry, elderberry and mint cocktail. Lovely combination.

Okay so the food we had ordered in my opinion was not the cut of steak they had said it was, it had a funny taste like it was a little off,the so called bake potato was a boiled potato........ although they took this into consideration and discounted some off the bill, if you think there is something wrong with your meal tell them before you eat it all,we were in there quite late, so we were hungry and didn't want to wait,as the sober driver I was keen to get home, I gave 3 stars because our staff were awesome, and because the food is normally fantastic here.

Food was average, arrived hot which is great, service was slow and place wasn't busy, looked very understaffed and everyone looked like they had multiple jobs each. Would go again in hopes service is a bit more organized.. staff was friendly despite having many jobs not enough time.. I appreciate there was containers available for take away

A nice late lunch on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Staff were smiling and made us feel welcome. Food tasted great and generous portions. Real value for money. Highly recommended.

Our holiday was cancelled and Michelle and Gina (staff members) gave us heaps of information and recommendations on places to go. Our holiday ended up really good. As for the food, everything was yummy especially the Oreo shake!! Great service, food and atmosphere.

I feel like the food has gone down a bit. I went with my youngest brother a few days ago and decided I would just get what I've always got from there the buffalo wings. Usually these are amazing but today they were pretty average... sadly by little brothers pizza was about the same... it just all seemed to be lacking compared to usual

Food is exactly what you would expect. Cheap but reasonably good. Service was great and friendly. Only slight issue was all the covid19 signposted with their rules and no one following them. Even staff. But overall am happy with experience.

Friend says that food is good and value. Went there for having a big meal and ended up with chicken nuggets and chips for our price. Lot's of space and excellent customer service. Kitchen side work according to the price need to improve.

We called into Denny's Wednesday night to a Nice Dinner no work involved for us a couples night out, we Loved the food staff and restful atmosphere We will Return Gary and Helen.

Love coming here for the pancakes and desserts that they serve. I like the diner feel about Denny's it's probably my favourite thing about it. Plenty of parking and the staff here are super helpful and attentive. Can't go wrong with Denny's. It's classic!

Love the milkshakes and the curly fries , the food in my opinion is quite expensive though for the standard that you receive. Great service , staff are attentive. Get a table relatively easy which is a big plus and and it has a great range of hours

Just left Denny’s tonight and had the best service from Jesse, Jirada and the manager. I ordered the wrong dessert and Jesse was very helpful alongside the manager and gave us an excellent experience at Denny’s!!

Went there on 1st April 10am for the first time ever, not knowing what to expect but happy to report it was a great expericence! Warm and welcoming faces, great seating arrangements, very neat,clean and tidy establishment with friendly staff, good prices, fast cooked food and well made drinks. Highly recommended! It was so good that at about 10pm we went for dinner the same night and even though the staff had changed the atmosphere did not. Exceptional service! Also they give a free meal on Birthdays. Go and check it out!

Exceeded expectations, little pricey but turned out to be worth it, though it's simple food it's really quality all round and the waitress was lovely.

What you see on the menu is what you get. Can't fault the food or service. Check dining times tho. Pretty sure Denny's is 24hrs on a Saturday. We will be back as always. Thank you ☺️

Fantastic. Great staff. I can't fault the service or food. Good parking didn't have to hunt for a carpark. Great price as well. I guess if you were a perfectionist then you would probably say that furniture could do with updating and a fresh coat of paint. Having said all that it comes with my recommendation.

Convenient and it is what it is. The Two OAP's I was with enjoyed their meals, one had Waffle, Bacon and ice-cream (Each to their own) The other a Strapping Giant of a Man had a Mushroom omelette, no eggs (Go figure) four pieces of white toast (Really would have been easier asking for Mushrooms on Toast 🤯) and a Cuppa coffee, eaten with relish. I had a sad lukewarm Chicken Burger, not so pleasing. Staff were pleasant and the Duty manager was excellent. All and all enjoyable enough.

Denny’s definitely famous for their curly fries. Absolutely delicious, also the oreo shake is my absolute favourite, I do recommend it!

Good meal, my scrambled egg was overcooked but the staff were very kind and helpful and replaced it. The new scrambled eggs were excellent so it was most likely just a fluke! Family friendly, wheelchair accessible. Would go again

Always great food and good service

I love Denny's, it's affordable, decent selection, and decent food (you pay for what you get basically), but the wait staff we had (although very hospitable and kind) could barely speak English so it was a struggle to understand what they were saying. I really do like the inclusiveness, I just suggest perhaps at least one fully English speaking member on shift as well? Overall great though, love you guys.

We have our date night here every Friday because of the price. More often than not the meal comes out cold cause it’s been sitting for too long. Lots of good choices of food to order,if only they could get the order right every time. The tea pots are old and they leak when pouring. They also have a vip card which has great rewards.

Great for what it is, fast service and meals are delivered quickly and are yummy and cheap. Only issue i have ever found is water is not accessible and often when asking for water for the table i have had to ask a few times or it takes a very long time to come. Not everyone wants to order a drink

Very good service. It was my b day so my meal was free, also was my boys. Kids eat for free there, not shore where the age limit ends for that. Food was excellent, and was brought to the table with haste. Reasonable prices. Will return.

Great quick lunch while shopping.

Went there on a school exchange from NZ last yr. We had a fairly large order definitely over $100 USD. I ordered a drink, it took a loooong time, but it arrived just in time before my teacher went to complain. For the meal I ordered a hotpot. Funny enough I found a whole uncut onion in my food, I showed it to my friends and we all laughed our heads off😂😂. It’s either the cook have been slacking off or they’re just half asleep. Overall food was good.

Food is just average. The price point is to high for the quality of what you get. Hey if your after a feed at some funny time of the day. Sure go for it. But there's a lot better place in Christchurch, to get a feed at a normal times of the day.

Denny's it is a very classic average restaurant.. It has never been a classy establishment, and I don't think it has ever tried to be. Most recent visit was perhaps the best customer service I have ever experienced.. Food was good.

you kind of get forgotten about when it gets too busy. Food quality is always the same; it's not awful but it is what it is. Also should take off a half star as no Curry Chicken on the menu anymore. Weirdly, back in the day it was as close to an authentic, home cooked Indian chicken curry you could get.

Loving Denny's.. Lovely waitress's, excellent service.. Only draw back, probably only for me,is I love bacon more than sausages, but they don't swap an extra bacon for one less sausage.. Huge meals at good prices .. <3

Denny's has been a family staple for generations, my grandfather was an apprentice of Harold butler so I hold this place dear to my heart. The staff are heaven sent, their words massage my ears and their sultry gaze warms my soul. Don't get me STARTED on the food, unbelievable gourmet experience from the seasoned chefs, I for the life of me can't understand why they don't have at least 1 Michelin star!? Better than sex. The atmosphere is so warm and light with an impeccable taste in decor and astute attention to detail. Thank you for making this a life to remember, Denny.

Was good for the family. Had about 4 people serving us, so a couple of things we had 2 ask for a couple of times, as it was forgotten about. Maybe just 1 person serving a table. Good selection to choose from, food was nice.

Whow lunch with my granddaughter.. and she is a fussy eater.. well she cleaned up her plate full of delicious food and had dessert (apple pie ) to finish with. Poppies didn't have desert I can hardly believe that. So thanks Dennys you made my birthday lunch superb

Food is always great but sometimes they can take forever. They always make it up on food though hahah always great service!

They serve huge portion sizes and the food is pretty good for an affordable fast food chain.

Late after work. Warmly greeted. Table of six. All ordered hot food and desserts. But the weirdest thing happened. The desserts were served before the hot food. Icecreams melting waiting for hot food. Had no choice to eat the ice creams first. Weird. Huge baskets of curly fries. Which none of those that ordered them could eat the whole basket. So value wise this was pretty good. One person dropped their milkshake and the cream fell onto the table. We asked for some more cream and they happily supplied another dollop of cream. Nice. But left us to clean the table - bad.

We make a regular visit to Denny’s for birthday celebrations (free meal on your birthday!) for a classic burger and fries meal with decadent shakes and deserts. All good fun. Parking can be tricky at times so you may not find a spot in their car park but there’s always been street parking close by.

Inexpensive as far as dining out goes, service was good, staff friendly as well. I wasnt a fan of the crockery 😂 and found that the sausages tasted precooked and one of my poached eggs was overcooked (not runny in centre) but overall I would visit again because it's an experience.

Dennys is great. My boss takes staff there a couple of times a year. Boss is Paraplegic so it has great access for him. Great service.Really friendly chatty helpful staff.Always like going there.

Reasonably cheap place to eat, with half decent food for what you pay for. A large drink selection, including cocktails and beers. They are open 24 hours on the weekend, so this alone awards it points. It certainly isn't going to be high on anyone's list for food quality but overall, it is a good place to eat for budget conscious diners.

First time try this Dennys, I've been good one and bad ones, this is a good one, neat dinning enviroment, friendly staff, good food too, best hot fudge cake above all other Dennys, loads of curly fires came with burger, and great location too! I've been seated to window booth, running traffic on the road makes me feel good. Best Dennys I have tried in NZ so far.

It was Christmas when we went there and this was the only place open around some distance that day. We had no choice and it turned out to be an amazing choice. Food was delicious and servings are quite huge. Good amount of parking space around. Staff was just amazing despite being under so much pressure that day.

Standard American fast food restaurant, high chair, pram and wheelchair access available. Affordable price not all that healthy. Friendly staff, reasonably easy ordering and fast table services.

Great service and a good place to take the kids. Reasonable prices too. Servings can be large so go with an appetite.

Relaxing family time a year ago. Took my son & nephew there 2 days ago. I was the only 1 who ordered a mushroom burger, I was the only 1 sick 3 hrs later. My review is not a four star as it is now a nothing.

Hearty breakfast/ brunches. Menu is huge covering breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner & dessert options. Take my teenage nephews here every time I’m In Christchurch. We always do brunch. Never been let down by the service or the quality.

For a diner this is a great spot. They are open 24 hours over weekend's and always a nice buzz around the place. Some of their menu is really good value for money but some is a bit pricy. I love their hot chocolate fudge cake ! It's the best ever !!!

Yummy meals and reasonabley priced and lots of dishes to choose from and did not take long for meals to come out.only minus was the staff stood over you while you looked at the menu.we had to ask them to go away so we could look at the menu without pressure.

My Whanau and I dined here in the weekend. We were seated and given the menus, 10 minutes or so went by and we were ready to order. The waitress returns, which we thought to take our order but she returned to ask if we had seen her "$1000 glasses" that she'd left here on the table, we told her nope sorry we didn't see them, telling her to check her pockets, after saying she'd checked but they weren't there she checks again in front of us then randomly they appear, she laughs it off knowing damn well she just made a clown of herself, walking off saying I better let everyone know I found my glasses. Funny how we were the only ones that got asked. A form of racism or just a blind bat? We probably won't come here for awhile or ever again. Food is pretty average, presentation wise probably a 4/10 and staff service is probably a rating of 3/10.

Service was great, my chicken curry was average at best, it used to come in a clay pot, and tasted very authentic but the new chicken curry was poor at best.

I really enjoyed the food. Everything was very well cooked but found the prices to be quite expensive.

If it is 11pm on a Friday, there aren't a lot of places open in town that serve dinner style American comfort food. But fear not, Denny's has you covered. Some personal favorites include the grand slam breakfast, with pancakes, eggs, bacon, hash browns and sausage, or the cheese melt, a cheap and cheerful grilled cheese that comes with a huge helping of French fries. They have recently given the menu an overhaul, and now have a page of sharable appetizers

I find Denny 's to be great value and good service. I don't have one of these restaurants at my home town but whenever I'm in New Zealand I always visit more than once. If your looking for a good meal make sure to stop by.

Was a pretty good experience except it was out daughters 3rd birthday an we had no idea you had to carry her birth certificate with you to get her meal for free as were members .. food was good service was good love coming here one of the onky places that dont mind my 2 daughters who have no idea how to be quiet in a restaurant yet !

Since giving it a 5 star it has apparently changed managers , coffee is only free on breakfast menu and very difficult to see this info, my neighbour has since been there and took over 1 hr to be served and was not busy, so be careful , will update if and when I return.

A far cry from it's hayday 20+ years ago. Easy on-site parking, a central location. For the most part the food is not too bad. However beware the watery orange juice - which apparently comes like that from the bottle or so we were told, won't be making that mistake again.

Dennys is still Dennys. After twenty years on coming here nothing has changed. It is one of the only places open in Christchurch late night for food so I tend to end up here either direct from the airport or drunk after a night in town. Either way it tends to hit the spot

Perfect garlic bread and pancakes this time around. The new menu is exiting but their ribeye steak, although it was cooked well it was still filled with cartlidge.
