T.The chips are worth the visit alone .Chunky but not oily .old school style .I had the cod breaded fillet was a bit on the thin side for my liking .Pineapple fritter batter just ok , pineapple inside juicy and good .Everyone really enjoyed the fish and sausages wrapped nicely in parcels .Perfect dinner meal .Excellent staff .Thankyou .
Z.I've been coming here since I was a kid and the shop is still run by the same family, but the mum has retired now. 90% of the time the chips are perfect, but occasionally they must use a different supplier or something, because the chips are a thicker cut and not crisp. The fish is usually very good - a bit on the small size, but you can't complain, given the price they charge.

W.My favorite fish and chip shop during my time at Cashmere High School. I buy it at noon every Tuesday. This fish and chip shop carries my good memories.

J.Solid fish and chips. Good crispy chips, great hotdogs decent fish but MOST importantly, a decent list of fish and chip shop toasted sandwiches. Nothing better than a ham and cheese toastie made on the massive hotplate. Except maybe a ham cheese and onion toastie
J.Was excited to try new seasons Bluff oysters. Went to Hillview. Oysters looked a decent size, but on taking a bite, was definately much more batter than oyster. Most disappointed. Maybe they were seconds, I dont know. Will go elsewhere next time . Chips also undercooked

J.This has become my local. Shop is small and can get cramped inside. It is not the best presented store but who cares when the service and food is fantastic. Always acknowledged even in busy times - 'won't be long'. Good pieces of fish and a good serving size of chips.Delicious - no complaints thus far. Good selection of items on the menu. Parking plentiful around the streets - beware peak hour traffic.
Z.I've been coming here for decades. Consistently good quality. Probably the best chips I've had anywhere. The fish isn't as premium as at the Cracroft fish and chip shop, but they're much less greasy, so I prefer coming here.
G.My local Fish n Chip shop is great overall most of the time but; the chips can be inconsistent depending on if the women owner (great chips) or her husband (average chips) cooks them, the hamburgers are good but not great (not enough salad sometimes). Everything is always well cooked though!
T.These guys have perfected the art of the fish and chip shop burger. Reasonably priced, delicious and decent sized scoops of chips. Will definitely be back.
