Had takeaways here and the food was delicious! Particularly good fish curry! Ordered hot for most of the curries we got and they had a good level of spice, not too hot but not too mild either. Would highly recommend!

Friendly India restaurant in Sydenham hubs with outstanding service. The family runs restaurant offers great meal variety. One of my favourite is mango chicken curry with garlic naan. With nicely cooked basmati rice. Highly recommended.

This Indian restaurant, the dining environment is very clean and comfortable, the staff are very friendly, the service is very good, and we are all satisfied with the food. If there are more people, you need to make an appointment first, otherwise it is not peak time, there should be places

Very basic decor but the food was absolutely delicious. Fresh naan, rogan johst, chicken tikka and vindaloo. All very nicely spiced and served piping hot. Recommended.

For a takeaway this is amazing. The mild food still has amazing flavour. The bhajis were cooked perfectly and the samosas. Always a bit worried trying a new curry house but this was definitely worth it. Only negative would be the really small naan and very small chutney containers, but just make sure to order more.

Tried lunch special today, and must admit, GREAT FOOD! A rare combination of quality + quantity. Awesome food and service. The waiter went out of his way to allow us dining in even after the shop was closed when we arrived to collect takeout order. Tried butter chicken and lamb kadai, yum! Distinctive and balanced taste. The identical twin brothers will give you a warm welcome. They provide top notch service and they will make sure the dine in customers felt comfortable. The twin brothers interaction with the customers was professional and they have good attention to detail. A highly recommended place to go and dine and you will leave but you will want to go back and dine again.

Can't beat lunch here if you want a proper feed. 10-12 dollars for curry, naan, and rice. Good, quick service and honestly some of the best plain naan (chewy and crunchy at the same time, mmm).

Our second time there - 8.00pm on a Tuesday. We were the sole customers but a takeaway customer came in. Empty of customer chatter and with an overcast night dulling natural light, the decor seemed a little austere. But you don't come for that. The food selection was great and its taste sharp on the palette. My butter chicken was less than $19.00. You can have a little laugh at the menu's English spelling errors and be grateful they weren't attempting anything in French. But recommend you visit and bring friends with you. Personal service is impressive.

We got the $10 special. It's available at dinner time also but you have to take away. Best butter chicken I've had in Christchurch! The medium was nicely spicy and the curry was tangy and flavourful and not too creamy. Definitely coming back to try more!

The atmosphere was relaxed and the service was friendly and efficient. The food was excellent; all of the dishes were flavourful and satisfying. The naan breads were particularly good. Highly recommend.

Had an awesome wedding anniversary dinner here. Food was delicious and very generous helpings. I have a huge appetite and could not finish everything. Great value for money - will definitely be coming back.

Don't be fooled by the old looking door! If you walk inside you will be pleasantly surprised by the colorful paints and lights. Food was tasty, very filling and gave good value for money. The service was extraordinary (especially the guy who served me with food) with very warm smile and friendly and quick service. Four stars only because I felt that they did not have much options for the starter. I wanted to eat something fried and to my surprise they did not have anything of that sort.

Our favourite Indian Restaurant never fails to deliver delicious food and friendly efficient service. Great to see they made the top 5 in Chch well deserved. Customer tip: have an ice cold lager while waiting for your take out, the boys are always great to have a chat with.

Definitely 5 stars for this Indian restaurant where the food is soooo good! service is perfect not too much just perfect and fast. The prices are really cheap. for around 10 dollars you have a complete meal and you are full. See you soon!!

Go there for lunch dates with my friends. Great service and tasty curries. For $10 you get the lunch deal with rice, curry and naan are perfectly filling and just right. Haven't had takeaways or came for dinner, but can recommend the lunch deals.

The food here is excellent! The naan is slightly thinner and nicely crispy which I love!! (please keep up the crispy naan!) They have a great selection of curries of which I have tried around 6 and they were all tasty. I ordered medium each time and their medium was on the mild side for my taste but this is pretty subjective. Their lunch menu is also outstanding value $10 for curry naan and rice which was more than enough for me. - eaten in twice( dinner and lunch) and had take away once -service was friendly and fast. Recommended!

Delicious food, very friendly staffs and affordable food price as compared to its taste. I have tasted oods in almost ALL Indian restaurants. Some people may prefer to visit other restaurant around CHC CBD, but I would keep 'Indian Pearl' at top of my list when consider food price and taste. I highly recommend others to try this one and enjoy their dishes.
