Fast service, and clean restaurant. Burgers were pretty good

Maccas Sydenham is really a great macca to dine in with families, friends, dating, having meetings in one of the mc cafes area, they have a secluded outside area too right when you get inside the entrance which is quite and good for dine in with nice music going on. Coffee is superb, the muffin breakfast menu is a really must try. The burgers are just irresistible too, and a lot more promotions and new items add on like the $5 mcbites and McSpicy chicken and other gourmet. The playland area is quite handy for parents with children. Toilet is well maintained and the Staff even busy are neat and clean. Drive thru area can be hectic but the Staff tries their best though a bit smiles can sometimes lift up the customers mood and repeat service but it must be hard to work at a fastfood industry. Overall it is a great McDonald’s that is really trying it’s best to preserved the McDonald’s product and service. 👍👍👍💯💯💯

Pretty good as long as you check your order a few times and yell so they hear it. Frustrating when the frozen cokes are defrosting a g a i n!!! And the beggars outside can be abusive. But ok

Great McDonald's to go sit inside. Lovely little playground area. With slide and mini obstacle course. A mini tramp and under 3 area. Great sitting area away from kids play area. Amazing coffee. Happy to customize burger orders. Great place for family, friends or associates.

Great drive thru meal. Kiwi burger was tasty and well put together. The fries were hot and crisp. The takeaway coffee was really hot, so it was still hot when I got to drink it and the staff were happy and friendly. The best meal I have had from a Maccas for a long time

I've noticed during the day you get more for your money, they are not shy with filling the box with chips and the chicken is always perfectly cooked. During night I've found that the staff could be a little rude and the food is dry how ever it's still worth the money so can't complain to much.

Love this place. Went with former work mates from Harcourts and the coffee was excellent, the cabinet food amazing and the vibe was great. Will be one of my new favs.

When I go and get myself food this place is great. Nice friendly staff, clean eating areas and the drive thru is easy to get through as long as it's not there busy times. Unfortunately when it's busy cars that use the drive thru seem to always block the carpark from being used. The food 99% of the time is great with the very rare missed nugget in my 10 pack. This McDonald's main fault would be when my whole family goes, as we have 7 or 8 adults and 11 kids our orders are usually quite large and we almost always have one or two things missing which can really ruin a family meal on a Saturday night when you really don't want to go all the way back to pick up something forgotten, leaving the food you had to leave to come get these items going stone cold.

I absolutely love eating here. Just moved to Christchurch and it's close to my work. Inspite of having many other restaurants around this place doesn't feel like usual fast food because of its exceptional customer service. All the staff is very friendly and welcoming at any hour of the day. It opens at 6am which is very good for the days when I need a great good breakfast. Looking at the staff working hard all the time shows the dedication and commitment to work even if it's such a hard job. We need more of McDonald's like this one.

The restaurant is good but the drive-thru never seem to get it right. On two different occasions I've ordered a Chicken Mc Cheese with a black tea for the drink, and twice have received a Mc Chicken with a white tea for the drink. The order wasn't repeated back to me or put on the screen to check either....

I can safely say that this is hands down the best place to go when it’s 3am and you’ve just dropped your phone down the drain grate and the barman kicked you out because you tried to table suck the left over alcohol on the bar and somewhere along the way you lost your left shoe. But yeah I recommend the 20pk of nuggets and a chocolate shake.

The food was as you would expect from McD's, I can't fault the overall quality or prices. There were several mistakes with our orders - they were totally OK with replacing the incorrect items. My major concern was the play equipment... Some of it was drastically in need of cleaning. Children could squeeze around the back of some places (I doubt an adult could), and some of those areas I could only describe as terrible - these were clearly visible behind a glass wall beside our seats.

Beef up the staffing for a couple of hours good service gets good word of mouth but wait g for 15 mins in a line just a tad tiring esp when you're the only one open south/west side of town. Big orders mean big spenders but won't be going back unless service picks up. I'll find a BK closer to me.

Sydenham has a gr8 childs playground , not 2 big or small just right. Service is gr8 2 like Riccarton Macdeez. Gr8 place 2 have a quiet cuppa & take the moko 2 play on a windy day :)
