Bought a platter for 2 - takeaway.. It was just average, definitely fill a hole, pork belly was good but the brisket, chicken and sausage were all dry and the sides needed work. If it was the first place I'd ever had smoked meats I wouldn't have known better, but they have a long way to go to catch up to the competition in Chch

We had Gui prepare lunch for our day after lunch catering for 75 people. We had pulled pork and brisket, lightly toasted buns and wraps, slaw and sauces. Everything was incredibly delicious and cooked to perfection! All of our guests commented on how epic the food was. Gui was very easy to deal with and personally delivered our food on time! Would definitely recommend Smoke Shack, especially for an event!

Food was fantastic and the staff were great! I really loved the brisket, and my partner said it was some of the best pork belly in the city! Will definitely be going again.

Absolute banger of a place, highly recommended. Never had a bad meal here and I've tried most of the selection. Only complaint is that I can't afford to eat here multiple times a week.

Great meal and friendly service. I would recommend if you’re in the area, however this isn’t the best low & slow restaurant in Christchurch. Still can’t beat Smokey T’s... sorry Smoke Shack
