w.Another top notch restaurant in Christchurch, this is definitely one visit ! Really fast service no waiting around and the food was really good for the price 😉❤
A.Our waiter was super friendly and gave great service. The steak was maybe the second best I’ve ever had. The edges a little chewy but apart from that well cooked. The brownie was a bit expensive at full price given that it was a small portion but I was happy to pay half price for it with our discount. It was delicious but not like a typical brownie. It was very soft as opposed to dense and chewy. Overall a nice experience and I’d go there again.
C.T-bone steak and Caesar salad were fantastic. The shrimp was perfect for starting dishes. However, there was only one staff to serve food, so my family had to wait to get cleaned our table. My family wanted to order desserts but we gave up.

Food was good!
Fish of the day was crumbed served with a sort of pesto sauce, mushroom etc very nice! Perhaps the fillet could have been a bit thicker but it was great
We also we the mussels they were full of flavour

M.Four of us went there for dinner tonight. The Steak burgers need to be seen to be believed and the three of us who had them were VERY impressed. The 4th persons steak was also very good. The service was even better than the food. We will be back for sure.

P.We waddled out the door...we were very hungry when we arrived... but by the end of our dinner, our bellies were full, and we happily waddled out the door.
We shared a entree platter between the 3 of us, it was delicious!!! Chicken, Squid, Garlic bread, Potato wedges, Sliced rare beef, Lamb, Pickled cucumber, and Prawns... very generous platter!
My main was Pork loin with crackling crackle mmmm what a delight. And after a rest, I had a Brulee for dessert, which was perfect! What a feast I/we all had, cheers guys 😁

L.the best customer service i have ever had at a restaurant! been here 3 times and ordered the same thing and the food has been consistently amazing each time. the staff always greets you with a hello and make sure to cater to all your needs. they saw we were trying to get a group photo and kindly offered to take it for us, they also crack jokes and as my friends come here often he gave them a drink on the house which was very lovely. its one of my new favourite places and i highly recommend!! (photo of their crispy chicken, it’s around $12 and it’s so yum)

An unusual name for a cafe bar and restaurant so don't be put off by that take it as being as a great place to go.
Give yourself plenty of time and don't rush and I am sure you will have a great time.

M.The food was pretty good, especially the pate, but the waiter wasnt great he was very loud and unwelcoming. Also a little rude when taking our orders and getting annoyed when we ordered the special on the board that wasnt available.
Came a long time ago and everything was great with the lady that served us. Probably wont be back, thanktou for the goos food though

J.The steak was to die for. Normally I'm quite picky with my food, but it was phenomenal. The steak melted on my tongue. The ambiente was quite nice, as well. Lovely place.
J.Just ok. Bad service which was such a shame because last time we were here a year or so ago there was a lady working who was fantastic. Food was ok, nothing special but no issues. We took some friends here this time as we were actually blown away last time we visited but our most recent visit we were left feeling disappointed. We visited this time through First Table so can’t really complain but o wouldn’t want to pay full price for the meals.
