Reviews of Water Drop Vegetarian Cafe
M.
Great food, wonderful people and stunning location. Great art on display too. My meat-eating hubby was impressed as well. If you want somewhere good to eat which is also a good price, this is a great choice.

Beautiful cafe and the Buddhist temple. Great service by people who are working there. Very helpful and warm. Loved the Chocomint tea and dumplings. A place which fills the soul. Will definately be back

The best Taiwanese style vegetarian/vegan cafe/restaurant you can find in Christchurch.
Good atmosphere, fantastic food, and some beautiful art.

It is not a vegetarian restaurant, it is more like a Vegan restaurant apart from they may have used milk in their coffees. This restaurant is located in the Buddhist temple on riccarton road. A few parking located at the back of the building depends on the time and day it can easily be quite full, especially on Saturday lunch time when they have Mass. Food is all great and incredibly tasty. We tried their pancakes, tofu, fried rice, and curry laksa and a chocolate brownie. The brownies is make with no eggs so it doesn't taste like the normal brownie which is less of my thing but it was okay and wasn't too sweet.

Nice little restaurant and good quality food even though I'm was not a big fan of the algae dumplings 🙃
Service was very friendly.
The lemon ice tea is absolutely amazing and I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
