C.This place got great meals at a very decent price compared with some other restaurants in town. It also got great range of craft beers.
L.Went to DSC on Saturday night to wash down the despairs that had been the working week.
Firstly, the printer broke. not only did the printer break, the intern decided to try and fix it... you can imagine how that went.
Next, the wifi went out, so I was not able to finish my usual lunch time adult entertainment. Now, this is where the DSC staff come into play. I had a lovely tanned short statured lady serve me all night. Spent a little more money than I should of... but you would too, for this lady's charm.
I sit here three weeks later, unable to get her out of my head.

J.While visiting Dunedin, we called into the Dunedin Social Club for a drink. It has great atmosphere and we enjoyed our visit. Service was quick and friendly. We would be happy to return again when next visiting Dunedin.

P.Really good casual pub restaurant. We had a steak dinner tonight that was nicely done and very affordable. The food menu here is pretty basic but it's all you need and the value us awesome. Really good pub style fare. The drink menu is more extensive and should cater for most. Good selection of brews. Service was nice and friendly and real quick too. Really enjoyed our meal here right on The Octogon.
R.Excellent value for money and huge portions - we had three pork burgers, fish and chips and a steak! (Only problem was that the steak was cooked Medium-WD not WD but that’s just being fussy!) Also we wished that there was an actual hamburger on the burgers and not just pulled pork! The salt and pepper chips that came with every dish were incredible!! Perfectly cooked and crunchy! *Huge Portions*

Ordered the same beers twice but got different beers somehow. Either kegs got mismatched or the wrong tap was used. Great image Tho. Would deffo come back.

K.This is a lovely pub/restaurant with really friendly staff. The wedges were fantastic but the potato skins not so good. They were swimming in fat.
P.Went to Dunedin social club on Saturday the 9th, the bar had 2 bartenders on with the bar completely packed out. They managed to work as quickly as any I’ve ever seen while still providing good customer service. Well done to them!!

F.Came here on Saturday with my partner before the concert at the Forsyth Barr stadium, and given the volume in the Octagon we were very limited to where we could go out for a nice drink.
We stopped past the Dunedin Social Club and approached the bar and noticed their espresso martini’s were only $10, when asking one of the bartenders she said they couldn’t do espresso martini’s at this time as they were very busy, however the male on behind her (assumed he must have been the manager) stepped in and said he would kindly make this for us.
At first were disappointed as they couldn’t serve a beverage item on their menu, but thankfully we got to enjoy some cheap cocktails and I’d admit they were one of the better martini’s we’ve had amongst the Dunedin scene.
We did end up having a good experience here on a busy night, but definitely something to note that it doesn’t look good to be turned away purely based on it being busy.
D.Nice place to meet some friends. Good prices for the food, but don‘t expect your plates to be as full as possible.

Also the pool tournament is conditional on the amount of people interested, which is totally false advertising as they say they have one every night. Also, a live band was playing at the same time as the pool tournament finals, which was very poor planning as the lights were turned off so we couldn’t actually see the balls. Still won though so yay
