H.We ordered Steak sandwich and seafood chowder. They were very delicious good portion too.
Our orders were taken by this very nice lady. And the waiter was very friendly.
The same lady came outside where we sitting (there are outdoor seats too) to ask how we were doing. Very nice and welcoming!

K.If you're going to dine here I would highly recommend booking a table first! We were lucky enough to squeeze on the end of someone else's table. There was a bit of a wait for food (about 40-50mins) but understandable for the volume of people dining in.

B.Moeraki Tavern is an exceptional eating establishment. Food and service is excellent. The new young owners have done well having taken over during Covid. Their takeaway food is as good as their in-house dining. You shouldn't pass Moeraki without calling in.
T.Moeraki is a majical little spot, tucked quietly away from the hustle and bustle. Absolutely loved it here. The Tavern has been placed in a beautiful spot with stunning views out over the sea. Fantastic food - the best seafood chowder I've ever tasted. The owner provided brilliant and friendly service. This place is definitely worth a visit. A+++
T.Some good vegan options and great service. Also discussed them making their own vegan sour cream because, you know - Wedges! Soups! Worth visiting whatever your diet :)
d.Beautiful sea front views. Indoor outdoor seating. We enjoyed fresh blue cod with beautiful light batter & seafood chowder thick with seafood. Absolutely devine. Friendly environment and great service.
J.We had a lovely meal there tonight for a family birthday. Fantastic service lovely environment, and outstanding food, I had the blue cod and it was 2nd to none, absolutely delicious and melted in the mouth. I would highly recommend this place.
