This place use to be amazing... Just ordered a large. They put the price up which is fine but the meals got smaller. Food was good but those portions are ridiculous. I use to love it here!

The staff are really friendly, the rice noodles are really good and they give you the food less than 2 minutes after ordering. It's worth coming down from north / central :)

So good! Had the large chicken satay supreme ($13). Came with mixed vegetables and rice and the most delicious peanut sauce. I could just drink that. Clean and tidy and quick service. Very popular over lunchtime but plenty of seating. Very extensive menu too...but I'm a sucker for a good chicken satay.

The most expensive rice, chicken and microwave mixed veges I've ever had - no indication of large price on the menu board, the only consolation being a really nice satay sauce. Cant say I particularly wanted to pay $13 for a tray of rice and a few slices of chicken.

Satay house is Absolutely wonderfully delicious, mouthwatering and authentic flavoursome Asian Cuisine It’s one the best places to eat quality, Flavoursome and gorgeous noodles, soup, burger, egg fried rice, Wong Tong, stir fry and dumplings , Satay dishes, Chow mein plus loads of other options available Thinking of it even makes me hungry Fresh cooking experience for every customers, standard rates Couldn’t be more satisfied Dine-in arrangements for customers is Great. 10/10 :)

I have been coming to this place for more than 22 years. The food is always great and consistently meet my expectations. The owner is friendly and strangely, he still looks as young as compared to I first met him. Must be the secret recipe in the soup and satay sauce. If you want a place for lunch dinner and value for money, this is the place for you. Keep up the good work.

16 Jul 2020 - Having lunch and ordered chicken kua teaw. Definitely taste better than before, maybe because I dined in rather than takeaway (i.e. No plastic after taste from the takeaway container). It was delicious 😋 and I finished everything including the soup! Would I go back? Yes 😏 Would I recommend? Yes, only the chicken kua teaw. I haven't tried other dishes. Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5. Taste better than the last time in 2018. Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐ out of 5. Nothing special. Still the same interior deco. Price: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5. You might have a different experience than me and also, the food may or may not suit your taste. 3 Oct 2018 - I was looking for something to eat and decided to do a Google Map search for nearby restaurants. This pops up as one of the recommendations. I went in and checked out the restaurant and decided to get a takeaway meal rather than dine-in. The dining area is a located at the front while the counter is located in the middle of this shop. Behind this is the kitchen where you can see the chefs busy cooking the food 🍳. Anyway, there's nothing spectacular about the shop; multiple square shaped tables, and each table comes with 4 chairs. There is plenty of choices to choose from; in fact 44 dishes to choose from. The cheapest option is $5 (satay chicken roll) and up to $15 (chicken chow mein). Average pricing is around $12 per dish and it won't break the bank. I ordered a chicken kua teaw noodle soup to go. I ate it when I'm back in the room by mixing it up in a large bowl. It came with two containers; one for the noodles and one for the soup with containing the ingredients. Average taste compared to other noodle shops; it is slightly salty. This is a non licensed eatery and you can order hot and cold non-alcoholic drinks. There is no outdoor area and smoking 🚬 is [definitely] not inside the building. Street parking 🅿 only. They accept cash and EFTPOS (debit card payment only, and Paywave is not available), for those who want to know. Friendly staff. Would I go back? Maybe 😏 Would I recommend? Maybe 😊 Food: ⭐⭐⭐ out of 5. Average taste but edible 😋. Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐ out of 5. Simple interior deco. Price: ⭐⭐⭐ out of 5. Slightly cheaper than other eateries with good portion sizes.

Great food, great service. I noticed a review below that was quite negative so I had to respond. We have had several sit-down and takeaway meals from this restaurant, never been disappointed yet! The person complained that they were charged extra for no rice - why is this a surprise, as rice is a filler and much cheaper than the extra meat you would have got instead to fill your container. Anways, I have nothing but good things to say about the food, which is always consistently good, and the staff are always super friendly and nothing is ever a bother. I often get them to change things up a bit, they have been more than obliging AAAAA+++++

I usually love going there for a meal. Bit we have been recently and were shocjed at the price. We get a large meal each with extra sauce. We were shocked this time with the price adding up to $15. Don't mind paying $3 extra for more meat but not $3 extra for more sauce. Used to be on $1

A nice place to satisfy your hunger of asian food. Good price and taste excellent. The staff are friendly, the dining place is also clean and have good vibes.

The satay house part of this shop has taken a fair bit of a hit over the years, if you come here don't come for the satay, though it still tastes nice almost half of the dish is coldslaw, however there Chinese dishes are very good and I highly recommend them
